Nadelen: "Houston airport qatar airways check in office has 4 counters and 2 were for people who electronically checked in and they were only a few and other 2 counters were for the huge line. Need more counters. Doha airport has majority of Indian national personell at check in and luggage checkins. They have to learn some manners and be polite with people. Rudeness is a turn off passengers who are tired"

Nadelen: "The airline demaged both of my completely new suitcases. They both had TSA approved locks. One of the suitcses has a missing wheel, another one ripped zipper and missing lock and it was wraped in plastic. A few items were missing from that bag."

Nadelen: "Both ground staff and inflight crews border on rude, but I choose to believe it's a cultural thing and not a corporate or personal failing. Really, it's a coldness more than anything. No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected."

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Overall it was a good flight but since I was not familiar Turkish Air, there were some glitches. Although I'm not wheelchair bound, I have great difficulty walking distances with fear of falling. I was never offered some assistance by the Houston airport or the airline at this point. The seating on the plane is difficult to maneuver for a disabled person. The flight was OK except for cramped spaces. The flight left on time and that was good considering Houston had just gone through the hurricane."

Voordelen: "We were traveling from IAH gto FRA with two dogs. One in a crate and one in a small carry on dog bag. Lufthansa handled the process very well. They expected us at the airport, helped us through the entire checkin with a smile, helpful information and care. They brought us and our dog to TSA and after boarding confirmed that our dog had been loaded and safely taken care of. The cabin crew also checked on us and our in cabin dog. I don't know any other airline that makes traveling with a dog so easy and pleasant."

Nadelen: "We were not offered veg and non veg options. We were only offered a vegetarian meal. A minute later, the gentleman behind us was presented the two options. We disregarded this on the first flight, but when it happened on the next flight similarly, we asked if we could get our children the chicken meal. The air hostess explained they had no more. But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

Nadelen: "Food was terrible-choice for dinner was Salmon or pasta with tomato sauce! Obviously picked the salmon which was sitting on a bed of soggy rice and a dinner roll that was so cold, I could cool my drink with! It was also hard enough to use for self-defense. The entertainment system was so bad, the kid behind me was punching the screen!! It took me 5 minutes to wait for the screen to respond and it was not much larger than my phone. Again, miss Emirates-this will be my last flight on Lufthansa!!!"

Voordelen: "They did it again, lost my bag for the emth time. But this time its seems to be more complicated than previous times this has happened. Just hope i’ll get my bag back eventually."

Nadelen: "Only two passport gates for non EU passengers at Frankfurt. Four employees at EU gates sat there and laughed at the angry crowd. Lufthansa should have anticipated this mass of people and had appropriate passport checkers there from that company. "Not our fault" does not cut it. Two planes 600 people each landed at same time. I'd guess a quarter missed connection. The process of rescheduling was a comedy of lies and inefficiency and lack of concern. Worst air travel experience ever. Ruined first two days of my vacation. Oh yea forgot the worst. No air conditioner running on runway at Houston at three in afternoon. Passengers visibly sweating before a nine out overseas flight. Blamed it on a mistake."

Nadelen: "First of all, the boarding took an hour longer than it should have been so we all sat in the plane dripping with sweat, because it was 100 degrees in Houston and the plane didn't have A/C on until we took off. Food was not good, some mysterious meat they called beef stew and veggies with strange texture. We ended up drinking more since the food was bad. The entertainment choices were OK but the equipment was a bit ancient, my husband's screen ( we sat in the front where screen pulled out of the seat) was broken and was held by a duct tape(???!!!) The seats are small, I have flown with other companies on transatlantic flights and their seats are bigger and more comfortable in economy class."

Nadelen: "The flight was late in departing and then rerouted from Frankfurt to Manchester causing many passengers to loose connection. The reasongiven was a crew scheduling issue. Compensation upon arrival at Frankfurt was nil unless you asked and if you did you got an insulting 7 euros which barely even paid for coffee. No apology to people given just a "business as usual, it is your problem attitude". At arrival in Frankfurt there was a pass the buck attitude where any questions of connecting flights, and reroutes was forwarded to a Lufthansa counter that was NOT manned by anyone. Very frustrated."

Voordelen: "Comfort, yummy food, exceptional customer service, but the best part had to be the amazing service when checking in at IAH.....the lady who checked us in delivered the best customer service I have ever received by an airline....I would love if she received some appreciation....she was super professional, courteous, friendly to my daughter, explained everything and made sure I understood, and then said "I'll see you upstairs Mrs. Manderfeld to help you further....at the gate" WOW! If only all airline check was like this!"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed almost 3 hours total. The first 45 minutes we were in the airport and they said they were delayed because of an engineering issue which was fine. They then stated that they resolved it and had us board the plane.... ten minutes later the pilot states that the same engineering issue is still being worked on and it'll be about another ten minutes. Well... TWO HOURS after being trapped on the plane and told repeatedly "it'll be another 10-15 minutes" ,we finally took off. The food was subpar, most of the airline staff was polite save for one gentleman at the gate who made a sarcastic comment to me about them trying to board quickly when I couldn't find my passport (after making us wait 45 minutes... then another 2 hours... yeah board quickly for what?). And the flight attendant Nicola was incredibly rude and appeared to condescend to some passengers in various ways. That 3 hour delay ended up costing me my connecting flight and I was booked on an overcrowded flight leaving 4 hours later and that was also delayed almost another hour (surprise!). My first day of vacation, I basically lost my whole first day as I arrived 8 hours after I was meant to because of delays by B.A."

Nadelen: "1. Non disponibilité du Wi-Fi à bord de l'avion 2. Avion remplie à pleine capacité et ayant accepté des voyageurs avec plus de deux (2) bagages à main à bord 3. Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Le personnel contractuel n’apporte rien à la situation. Départ pour Montréal/Ottawa en retard. On m’avise que je manque ma correspondance et on me donne des vouchers lorsque je passe le kiosque AC aux correspondances. On dit me changer pour le prochain vol. Je me rends à la porte 25 et on appelle mon nom. On me dit que je suis toujours sur ce vol. Aucun sens. Donc Venise/Ottawaplus de 33 heures. J’y repenserai"
Nadelen: "Voir mon commentaire. personnel nayant aucune empathie. Des indications fausses. Au comptoir des correspondances une employée AC avec pancarte Venise me demande pour quel vol. M’indique de passer au comptoir pour changement car raté. Au comptoir l’employée sans lever les yeux me dit sèchement d’aller ailleurs. Je désire son nom pour me plaindre de la façon dont on s’adresse. La dame à la pancarte me dit je suis là superviseuse c’est mon employée. Rien de plus. Ce n’est certainement pas de ma faute si AC connaît une mauvaise journée"

Nadelen: "Not enough room for everyone’s carry ons even though websites clearly state the allowances. very small plane. No snacka offered on almost 3.5 hour flight only drinks."

Voordelen: "À L'heure et même en avance. Service excellent."

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

I paid extra for a seat closer to the front yet had to store carry on in the rear of the plane. when asking the flight personnel for assistance regarding the matter, he promptly gave me a glare and turned away totally ignoring me. In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"

Voordelen: "The end of the trip and delivery of luggage 24 hours after arriving in Vienna"
Nadelen: "Old and partly broken plane, horrible food. 2 officials to immigrate hundreds of people at Brussels. Breakdown of luggage system in Brussels. No luggage at arrival in Vienna."

Voordelen: "Very comfortable and clean aircraft. Friendly crew. Seats at the front of Economy had excellent legroom. Helpful flight announcements from the captain."
Nadelen: "Air Canada has only one gate at Houston, which appears to be in constant use, at least in the early afternoon. If one flight is delayed in departure, it causes a backup with other flights."

Nadelen: "Check in at Houston is terrible. Air Canada made us transfer our own luggage between flights causing us to almost miss our flight. This should have been indicated when booking the flight, we would have purchased a different flight. When we got on the flight, overhead bin was too small for my husbands carry on and a flight attendant whisked his bag away before we could ask where she was going. She came back without the bag and we asked where she had taken it- she had checked it without asking us if this would be ok. The bag was full of valuable breakables as well as our cash and cards. We asked if we could get the bag at the gate and she said it would come out on the carousel. So we spent 3 hours completely stressed out. Drinks were only served once the entire flight, more water should have been offered. When we got off the plane one of our bags had gone missing. We had to wait 2 days to have it delivered. It was delivered at 4am in the morning. Overall compared to the previous United flight, Air Canada has lots of room for improvement."

Nadelen: "The temperature control system was broken so the cabin temperature was upwards of 90F for the entire flight. The flight crew wouldn't acknowledge the issue until we had landed."
