Nadelen: "The airline fix the booking problem because my trip was from Zurich to Brussels to Washington DC to Austin and went I print my boarding passes only show to Brussels. The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it"

Voordelen: "The crew was great and the food was pretty good. The crew did a great job of keeping the lavatories clean and stocked. It was a 10.5 hr flight and they gave us one meal, a snack and a treat. Not a lot but since we were just sitting it was enough food. We had to stop for a meal on the way home from the airport."
Nadelen: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Nadelen: "I bought economy class ticket! (I have a printout ticket as proof!) When I went to the airport i had a VERY UNPLEASANT surprise. I had a 23kg bag. Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Nadelen: "The seats in economy were unbearable for anyone of normal size, as I am. It is not possible to sit in even bare comfort in them. Obviously I'll have to find another airline or factor a size upgrade into the price"

Nadelen: "On ticket it said time between flights was 1hr 25min, but as soon as we got off the plane we had to RUN through Zurich airport, where 1000 other people were all trying to funnel down the single escalator to Passport Control, to get to our gate. Then we had to wait in another Passport Control. TERRIBLE and stressful. The actual flight was fine."

Nadelen: "Old business class, old enterior, cabin too hot, seat uncomfortable due to permanent deflation of cushion."

Voordelen: "I did not take this flight. I had to change my itinerary to accommodate a change in my work commitments and tried to cancel this flight but was unable."
Nadelen: "I am never ordering a ticket through your services again. And I will certainly advise friends and colleagues against doing so. Your customer service is execrable. This is the second time in a year that I have had to spend hours of time in an attempt to cancel a flight and have lost the full ticket cost because of all your terms and conditions and fine (=unfindable, unreadable) print. The lack of transparency regarding baggage fees is outrageous. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars in such fees after having had no such notice - and no inkling - that that would be the case. We call this a "racket" in the United States."

Voordelen: "We were worried based on negative reviews on SWISS we had read prior to our trip, but they were WONDERFUL!! We flew coach from MIA to CRETE, two stops and 13+ hours of flying. The seats were as roomy as coach gets, but comfortable, reclining further than Delta or AA in my opinion. The food, drinks and snacks never stopped and were tasty!! Including a delicious Swiss chocolate a the end of your flight! They were so attentive! The attendants were all kind and polite. In fact, we had someone sit in front of us on our flight home who culturally didn't bath/wear deodorant and VERY malodorous and we asked the flight attendant if we could move. As soon as everyone boarded and she found two open seats for us, she moved us right before take off and we had a wonderful, great-smelling 10.5 hour flight!! LOL"
Nadelen: "There seems to only be 4 (plenty) bathrooms right in the center of the coach area of the plane, but with the flight attendants constantly serving drinks and food, you really had to time it so you could get to the bathrooms when they weren't in the aisles. Trust me though, this is hardly a negative and I will happily fly SWISS over and over!!!"

Nadelen: "I paid for a seat on the aisle with extra leg room. Seat 24D. There was only minimal foot space because of some type of metal box under seat 23D. I don't think that I should had to pay $45 for the extra leg room just to receive cramped foot space."

Voordelen: "The children had easy entertainment at their hands. The planes were clean and comfortable. The food had a Swiss touch and the chocolates are always welcome in my family."

Nadelen: "The food was terrible, boarding was chaotic, only ten movies to choose from."

Nadelen: "Plane was very hot and there were no air conditioner valves so we had to sit in a hot plane for thirty minutes. Seats didn't recline at all so sleep was out of the question. Just a very miserable flight overall."

Voordelen: "The crew was not amazing, it was okay The cabin was clean. Food was dog food. The seat was uncomfortable but no different from other airplanes of other airlines. Entertainment (if the selection of senseless movies could be called that) was okay to boring."

Nadelen: "Amazing how little legroom you can get away with, on a 13+ hour flight. You should be so ashamed!!!"

Voordelen: "It is always better when this flight is operated by wide body aircraft, as was the case with A330 this time"

Voordelen: "We were told by terminal staff in Istanbul that the fkught was on Turkish Airlines.We waited in line at the first ticket counter and then we were sent to a second ticket counter where we waited in line again. We were sent to a 3rd counter where the Supervisor was chatting with a lady for 20 minutes. When we reached the counter we were told it was too late to board and we had missed our flight even though there were still 35 minutes to flight time. Turkish Airlines staff would not help us any further and we had to go purchase another ticket."

Nadelen: "wasnt able to print my boarding pass while checking in online. being able to do so would have helped a lot if i didnt have to check-in at the counter as the flight was at 5am. i could have just got in and spent the night at a lounge."

Nadelen: "Didn't happen. My first leg to Athens was canceled which created a humongous headache since it ended up canceling my return flights. Air Canada had to put me on completely new flights there and back. I think this has taught me to go directly through an airline. Justfly was not helpful. Neither was Turkish airlines."

Nadelen: "The booking experience was exceptionally bad. Never again through you."

Nadelen: "While seated in the plane we saw our second suit case. We called the stewerd and advised him of our observation and he promised to check with his supervisors; he came back and confirmed that all is under control. Arrived Bordeaux and the luggage didn’t. It took two days to get the suitcase and it took hours of follow up and the airport agent kept giving false excuses. At the end we drove to the airport and picked it up ourselves. Of course at the airport we listened to more trash."

Nadelen: "Hi, Your company lost one of my check-in bags. I am in Bucharest now, still waiting for my bag. Nobody knows where my bag is. Please, help find it! Under Doinita M Toranzo's name, big red bag! under Thank you!"

Voordelen: "My flight from Budapest to Istanbul was delayed by weather and heavy flight traffic in Istanbul. At booking time, I had only a 1 hour layover, which I commonly NEVER schedule. Upon arrival at the IST terminal gate, I exited quickly and was met at the end of the runway by a Turkish Airlines customer service rep, permitting me to transit directly to the transit lounge, rather than sending me back through security yet again. As she looked at my boarding pass for the next flight, she knew who I was and she sent me directly to the proper gate for my next flight. Turkish Airlines, you ROCK! (My bag even made the connection!)"

Voordelen: "Boarding on time. Decent food. Relatively clean aircraft"
Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Turkish airlines have always been perfect for me. This was yet another fulfilling experience with the services, the food and other stuff being extremely satisfying."

Voordelen: "мне нравится все кроме того что заранее до выхода в Стамбул неизвестен номер gate для полёта в в Одессу. В результате большая нервозность и много времени тратится на поиск этого номера, а потом -- бег чтобы успеть достигнуть место посадки вовремя."

Nadelen: "The flight was almost full. I was assigned an aile seat at row 37. My seat did not recline- because there is a wall behind it - howevera the window seat had a small recline. The seat in front of me when reclined left an unusually small space in front of my face. I was very uncomfortable. I'm a small person weighs 145 lb. this was my fourth flight with Turkish Airlines and was the worst. My wife next to me in the middle seat was fortunate that the passenger in front of her did not recline her seat."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seat. Food acceptable."
Nadelen: "Computers were down for more than 2 hours. I have a disability and I was told to seat and someone would come with a wheelchair when the problem would be solved. They completely forgot about me. When I saw that the people had boarded, I went to the counter asking for the wheelchair. They sent me to Egypt Air to request it. Of course Egypt Air said I was not their passenger, so I should request the chair to my airline. I tell the man from Egypt air to talk directly to his colleagues in Turkish Airways. He is angry and tells me he's doing me the favor of getting the chair even if it's not his job, so i should be very thankful. He requested the chair and sat me on it. Kept telling me I should be thankful to him, even if it wasn't his job. Turkish Airways never got the wheelchair for me and I have mobility problem but they tell me to get to another airline to get it! No entertainment originally in Spanish in any flights for Spanish speaking passengers."

Nadelen: "Had to cancel due tp safety situation in Turkey (bombings, Dept of State warning). I had flight insurance but Kayak did not refund a dime."

Voordelen: "Love the entertainment choices, behind able to watch while seasons of TV shows, new movies. Makes the time pass easily."
Nadelen: "When you are doing a long flight, you don't want fruit to be the only choice for dessert. It's hard enough being gluten free but to find that nearly every airline just thinks that fruit is acceptable is disappointing. They did provide a gluten free bread roll rather than the usual rice cakes but on two recent legs, didn't heat it. When I told the flight crew the second time that it is inedible when not heated, he was great and said he would do that. And it is nice to eat grilled vegetables which are delicious but sometimes particularly on a long flight, a bit more variety is needed. Turkish Airlines is excellent but fixing this would make it great."

Voordelen: "Unfortunately for Turkish A. the plane was less than 1/3 full...tourism to and from Turkey seems to be way down for a number of reasons. That made it spacious coupled with a relaxed pace of passengers and crew. The lunch served was quite tasty and satisfying. No hassles about carryons weight or size. Electronics aboard seemed to work fine for those interested."

Nadelen: "They made me pay $450 to check two of my bags. The bags were delayed by a day and then they stole a $1,000 camera from the delayed bag. I work for a travel agency and we will never fly Turkish Air again."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."

Voordelen: "- the food was great! not the usual bad airplane quality, we felt we're eating at a restaurant"
Nadelen: "- Screen from Madrid to Istanbul wasn't working even though crew members restarted it several times"

Nadelen: "The seats on the second flight were smaller and we had no flight console (no movies, usb charge..)"

Voordelen: "The flight was comfortable and on time. My congratulations to THY for the management of the situation so well right after the confusion brought about by the coup d'etat attempt in Turkey. Thanks a lot!"
Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Nadelen: "Entertainment in the whole plain did not work. At arrival we waited about 30 min before exiting the plain."

Voordelen: "Always friendly staff, never feels like you are a bother to them. Comfortable seats & they have frequent service."
Nadelen: "The older version of the plane with the fabric seats is not so great."

Voordelen: "I was pleased with the food. It was plentiful and varied. I appreciated that the cabin lighting was increased gradually allowing people to wake up gradually instead of abruptly."
Nadelen: "The seats were very close. The seats were not well padded. The bathroom trash was overflowing."

Nadelen: "Istanbul airport was very crowded in a way that there is no place to even stand comfortably, and the crew from Istanbul to Cairo were very nervous, I asked one of the crew a cup of water she replied in a nervous way to sit to my place without giving anything."

Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."

Conduite lamentable."

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

Nadelen: "Only issue I had was a 5 hour layover in Cairo, not long enough to explore so just sitting in the airport, and there is no wifi available in the airport, even at Starbucks nothing. Apparently an airport rule, but it sucks with a long layover."

Voordelen: "Immediate check-in with no weight. Two checked bags & two carry-ons at no extra charge. Window seat, with no one else in the row. Good meal at no charge. Arrived on time."

Nadelen: "OUr departing flight was delayed almost 1 1/2 hours, resulting in a missed connection in Cairo -- this is not uncommon. The connecting flight waited 6 minutes, then left us. Arranging an alternative (through Rome & onward by late evening) was done , but no one was at the transfer desk for an hour."

Nadelen: "The plane, supposed to take off at 6 pm crashed into another plane on the JFK tarmac around 7 pm. An hour later we were deplaned and then were uncoordinatedly brought to a shuttle... took 90 minutes to get transported to a hotel... that didn't have capacity for all... then another hotel... still no capacity for all... so I took an uber to another hotel on my own. It's 1 am before I get to my room and crash (no pun intended). Besides the incompetent organizational response in a crisis: The plane was not cleaned Dry -- no alcohol on board Food was meh. Looooooong 36 hours with Egyptair."

Nadelen: "Lack of attention of flight attendants. Children running around without parental supervision and flight attendants ignoring this for 12 hours is irritating. Garbage all over the plane during the flight, mostly due to passengers. Having to x-ray your bags 5times, and stopped 8times to check my ticket before boarding."
