Nadelen: "That my flight had to end and I know my next US airline flight won’t come close to this kind of experience! Air travel doesn’t have to be a cattle herding process with peanut treats on cross country flights - shame on the US carriers - I strongly suggest they fly Singapore Air to see what true customer service feels like!"
Nadelen: "The seat's recline button was broken which meant having to sit for 12+ hours upright. Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

That was a wonderful trip. Staff are courteous, Doha airport is awesome and flight is very clean. Asian vegetarian food stated okay but could be improved.

Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Also, when boarding at the HK airport, after disabled and families, everyone was asked to board at the same time which resulted in one very long line of several hundred people."

Excellent service, high quality food options and flight amenities. I really enjoyed the food as did my son. My son left his backpack behind on the first leg and the airline staff retreived it and delivered it to the lounge in less than 15 minutes. I was astounded and had almost given up on seeing the bag again, given my experience with other airlines in the past. This is going to be airline of choice for future trips!"

Would not recommend any layover with this airline in hong Kong for less than an hour. Numerous phone calls from me to sort this out, which resulted on another carrier to Hanoi."

Nadelen: "Same reason provided for Sydney to Hong Kong flight"
Voordelen: "Happy to have goodnight on the flight. Was scared to fly on such a long flight because I'm a decent sized guy. I was even more afraid when I realized I was out in a middle seat. However, the seats are relatively spacious, even in economy and my knees weren't hitting the back of the seat in front of me. I also appreciated that we could get up to grab water or juice at any time during the flight."
Nadelen: "Boarding could be more organized."
Voordelen: "Got upgraded to business BOS - HKG. Very nice!! Nice new feeling 777 also."
Voordelen: "Amazing service and food"
Nadelen: "Little cramped bit not bad"
Nadelen: "Very uncomfortable! Cabin crew are not friendly, service sucks! Very dirty cabin. Very noisy because of crying children everywhere!"
Voordelen: "Great flight (considering it was like 20 hours we were traveling) Don't understand why we had to throw out the liquids we purchased past the security check points (like next to the gate). Why sell them then?"
Voordelen: "Leg room and overall cleanliness was good. Special meal on this sector was very good compared to my previous flight."
Nadelen: "The crew was somewhat rude...not directly to me but to many fellow passengers. There was a teenage girl seated next to me and she requested the crew for some water and the hostess told her to wait till they served drinks which she said will take 5 mins. It was after 18 mins that the girl next to me finally got water. Seriously, you can't afford to give a glass of water , it's not like she was asking for coffee or some soft drink, its water ...and when we flew Korean and EVA airlines, they had a small bottle of water available on the seat when we boarded. Then my next row family asked for coffee and after a few minutes the fellow passengers wife decided to have some tea. So the husband called in the hostess and the hostess very rudely said , now you want both coffee and team , next time please let me know at the same time. Then when they served me my special meal, there was no butter in the meal tray, so I patiently waited for them to serve others and when they reached my row, I very nicely asked if I may have some butter...the hostess said, we don't have any butter. I was like...speechless. No butter, no water...and Cathay is a top class airline , HOW is it possible ? And the other crew was ok, this was one crew member a female and her name started from J , don't remember her full name. She was the laziest ever crew member I have ever seen and I am pretty sure she did not like her job. Cathay did not provide any tooth brush or mouth wash. No socks, slippers , eye patch...nothing. While flying to HKG from Toronto, I did not opt for special meal and the meal was just HORRIBLE. It was some beef and I couldn't even cut it with a knife. I think Korean Air is more or less the same as Cathay but in my opinion Korean is much better than Cathay. Cathay is only good for Business/First class. I seriously recommend EVA airlines and if not then Korean but if you are flying economy then stay away from Cathay."
Nadelen: "Not enough bathrooms"
J’ai demandé plusieur fois qu’on m’aide avec mon bébé car je n’avais pas acheté les sièges avec couffin à l’avance mais personne n’a pu m’aider du coup 11h de vol avec le bébé sur les genoux
J’ai eu trop d’informations différentes du personnel de Turkish Airlines concernant les sièges équipés de couffin pour les Bébés donc finalement nous n’avons pas pu en obtenir un
Voyages à 4 personnes , la totalité des bagages perdus , turkish airlines première et dernière fois .
L’embarquement top , Le service à bord, le repas distribué peuvent être largement amélioré

Nadelen: "New Istambul airport requires walking 20-25 minutes when arriving and the same amount when departing. Even if huge you need to take a bus a walk under the rain. Bad planning"

Voordelen: "Turkish Air’s boarding is very good and their food and entertainment is good"
Nadelen: "I have flown many international miles and many with Turkish Air. I have seen them go backwards as an airline these past 9 years. No more Premium Economy and very small seats, no more hot towels b4 takeoff, unbearably hot cabins, no good snacks on long flights, etc."

Voordelen: "Being a regular traveler I was blown away and how the staff went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful!!! Great job Turkish Airlines. You got it right!"
Nadelen: "I was in business class with flat bed seats and it was not as private as with other airlines. The seat was more hard than I expected. But overall it was a great value for a business class ticket"

Nadelen: "Seats on this flight were even smaller than the previous. It almost feels that these seats were designed for little kids."

Nadelen: "L'équipage ne fais pas d'effort pour comprendre ce qu'on lui demande dans une autre langue à part l'anglais. C'est un vol international et je pense que c'est important de parler français aussi."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Two unrelated issues at Miami airport they didn't have a separate line for the people holding global entry and at the Istanbul airport no info desks to direct passenger to their connecting flight"
Voordelen: "13 hours went by fast enough."
Nadelen: "had to go 6 times through securety check, had to get out of the airport, and then a bus had to take all the passangers to another terminal. it seemed as the airport staff was not aware that there is a connection flight."
Nadelen: "Ordered veggie meal didn't turn up!"

Nadelen: "They are telling me because I booked with Kayak through PriceLine or vice versa they will not give me any hotel for my 14 hours lay over."
Voordelen: "I had a medical isue.want to cancel but miss comunication until last munite.They let my ticket dead.So sorry.Did not go..Not able to use in the future..To bad can you help?"
