Our row and the back row was affected and we could not watch anything on the screen for a good 2 hrs of the flight. Boarding was rather disoriented. Nadelen: "One of the flight attendants was extremely rude. She passed over me several times like I wasn't sitting in the most uncomfortable seat. In the middle. She didn't want to give me water, I had to ask if I could have some water. TSA held me up, I almost missed my flight had to be rushed on and no place to put my things so I had to sit squashed in the middle seat with all my bags for a 12 hour flight. I won't EVER go through Boston AGAIN. I won't ever chose Emirates for that long flight again, if I can help it. The WORST!!"

Nadelen: "Flight was really hot ; i was almost suffocating. They kept the AC closed for an hour till the take off !! Wayer surved was hot ! Disappointing experience unfortunatly!!"

Rewards.. not calling the old people to board first.... my mom is 84 years old by the time she got to her seat row 45 she was exhausted... then we turned the light on she needed water for her medicine... we had to wait 45 minutes because the crew was to busy socializing"

Im a silver card holder on Oneworld ao I wanted to have less queue by using Silver card privileges at Malaysian Airlines counter but was not accepted. Had to go onlong queue at Emirates in KLIA but it was fast."

Nadelen: "The first flight was late so I was worried I'd miss my connection (however connection was delayed too so I made it). Also, I was asked to check in my bag because "the aircraft was full" however when I got on the plane I noticed it was half-empty and there would have been ample overhead room."

Nadelen: "Connecting flights. All lies, no cooperation. Not a small airport as it takes nearly half an hour to get to Gate E. Too few characters allowed to explain all we went thru."

Nadelen: "They charged about $230 to convey my skis, compared to about $80 for the first bag. This is such ab unexpectedly big difference as to be a trap. Swiss Air are, in my opinion, con artists. Do not fly with them."

Nadelen: "The airline fix the booking problem because my trip was from Zurich to Brussels to Washington DC to Austin and went I print my boarding passes only show to Brussels. The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it"

Nadelen: "Zurich is a confusing Airport, where signs are not obvious, and the queues are poorly formed. They should improve that for sure."

Nadelen: "Horrible boarding and check-in. I fly internationally for business. This by far and away was the worst experience ever. There were 2 parts to our travels. Flight from Dusseldorf to Zurich, then Zurich to Los Angeles. in Dusseldorf, SWISS oversold the plane by 25 passengers. It was unbelievable, SWISS was randomly determining who would not fly and miss their other connecting flights in Zurich. It was by shear luck that we were able to keep our original reservation. SWISS needs to realize that this type of problem is serious. I can't imagine every flying SWISS again."

Nadelen: "Economy seats in business. Also baby strollers took ages to come out at Heathrow, should have come to the door, but instead came at baggage claim about half an hour after our baggage, so pretty poor service in that aspect"

Voordelen: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Nadelen: "Mackenzie Gray/ My flight was cancelled due to bad weather conditions unfortunately. I'm upset that I never received my initinerary for my substitute flight! I tried online and calling the # that was provided no results. I managed to get thru to someone and they told me they would send the info to my email but they never did."

Nadelen: "The seats are not comfortable The crew insisted I can't bring on a 22" Carry-on"

Voordelen: "See / hear the middle-aged guy around seat 22 aisle coughing his lungs out throughout the 10 hour flight without once covering his mouth ? WTF is going on w an airline that would let a passenger behave like this ? Didn’t see the attendants offering a cough drop, or asking if he would please behave like a civilized human being. Looking for others corroboration. Spread the word like this guy this w his germs"

Voordelen: "Food was better than some other long-haul flights I’ve been on. Plane fairly clean and comfortable."
Nadelen: "Entertainment options more limited than Delta or Virgin, who I’ve usually flown intercontinental. Boarding in Zurich was a mess. No order to it and they didn’t start boarding until 20 minutes before takeoff. Nearly every intercontinental flight I’ve taken needs closed to 45-60 minutes to do a full board. Sure we made up the time in the air but the process to get on the plane was frustrating."

Voordelen: "There was a half hour delay due to some no-show passengers. The flight was delayed while their bags were removed. The problem was explained well. The flight crew seemed to made up for much of the delay by flying faster or more directly so the total flight time did not increase by 30 minutes. Fortunately this was our final flight segment so the delay was not a problem."

Voordelen: "The flight was good. The flight attendants appeared to be a little cold and hard. The check in process was not so good. Seat selection was not smooth."

Nadelen: "We had a family of four sitting behind us. The father yelled all the time. They took up four overhead bins and he was frequently up and down getting things out of the bins. His very hairy large belly was touching my daughters head every time. He and his children punched the backs of our seats on a regular basis. My back was in constant pain and I was unable to do very many things due to the back pain during my "vacation", The flight attendants had to remind the parents that their children could not stand on the seats during takeoff or crawl around under the seats. No ability to change seats or I would have. I didn't have a problem with the other children on the flight, when they were crying their parents tried to do something. However these people brought playdough for their child to roll out or punch on the seat tray and all they did was constantly yell loudly at their children, Well not about the kicking, punching, or crawling around. Just yell in general at them."

Nadelen: "Boarding problem. But I have to congratulate the crew for their efforts to overcome the problem in the best possible way"

Voordelen: "One on the plane service and food were very good. In flight movies limited in number of choices"
Nadelen: "Flight delayed over an hour because they couldn't fuel the plane and had to wait for trucks. Did not update the board at the gate with boarding times and people waited on long lines unnecessarily because they did not update the boarding times. Very frustrating."

Nadelen: "Service was poor - several of the staff seemed to be inexperienced and not very customer service oriented. The boarding process was chaotic at the gate - customs were there to check in but quite a few people were unaware (not many announcements). Also, the Economy boarding process wasn't clear and chaotic (i.e., not by row and you also didn't know when you could board. Also, the person in front of me kept reclining her seat and it went back too far. I didn't want to do the same to the person behind me so it was quite uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "1stly the lady at the check in was not nice [ i should have gotten her name -] she was rude and quite 'authoritarian' which is uncalled for- when you have paid an expensive ticket are just trying to check in. then I checked an extra bag - and could not pay where i checked in. i had to go to another counter to pay - there was a line and it took a good few extra minutes - and i still had to get thru security. if you can pay at the check in counter this would avoid this extra step. i was really not happy about it swiss air needs better efficiency and better customer service"

Voordelen: "Food usually was very bad on SWISS flights' econ class, this was surprisingly better (just better, not good). Staff were professional and polite though they spoke very loud even when most people around were asleep."
Nadelen: "At check-in counters, staff managing the queues did not speak English at all, same thing at the security check queue, only Spanish speaking. There should be some clearer instructions of how and where to queue at boarding. Everyone just wanted to cut queue."

Nadelen: "The seats are so small, no leg room at all. I'm 5'7 so I'm not that tall but my knees were very close to the seat in front of me. The mans sitting next to me had broad shoulders so during the entire flight he was on my seat. Which I didn't mind because I know he could not help it since the seats were so narrow. I would never fly Turkish airlines international again and would tell people not to as well."

The business class seats are uncomfortable, they don't recline far enough or provide adequate leg and foot support. The breakfast is not good at all and they seem to fry or provide stale croissants and danishes - they are always so hard and difficult to eat. the flight is always delayed and boarding chaotic."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "1. CRAZY short time to transfer from TLV leg to SFO leg, 1.5 hours, and there were 5 different security lines even though we were always in the international travel area. Very stresfull. I'd much prefer an extra hour layover rather than run through airport. Why was I patted down at the gate??? 2. legroom was cramped, I was comfortable only because seat next to me was empty"

Nadelen: "I booked three round-trip tickets from LAX to Athens. Our daughter did not fly with us there but we checked with ticketing in LAX and they booked her seat anyway. The issue came when we tried to leave Athens the airlines then said that I had to purchase a one-way ticket! They informed me that the flight was cancelled for my daughter because she didn't fly to Athens. The ticket was almost $1,500.00 and I intend to get my money back but it was unfortunate that they had to charge me for it in the first place."

Voordelen: "We ended up being delayed on the flight for about 3 hours due to fog in Abu Dhabi— delays are always frustrating but the crew was absolutely fantastic. The head of cabin crew personally came by to explain the problem and made he passengers feel welcome. Excellent service all around, especially when the situation is unpleasant but not within anyone’s control."

Nadelen: "Our Chicago to Abu Dhabi flight was delayed by over 6 hours Our Abu Dhabi layover was long, because the airline ended up canceling/delaying the connecting flight"

Nadelen: "I was given a baggage tag without any explanations on what that even means. It would have helped knowing I should keep it safe in case my luggage is misplaced or lost by Etihad- which is was! The seats are not that comfortable and I needed to stand a lot. Bathroom kept running out of soap and needed to wait long for staff to replace. Entertainment system was hard to use due to the person in front of me leaning their chair back the whole time so the screen was in my face."

Nadelen: "The carry-on size allowance is way too small and the staff was adamant and said pay $300 (Reason: the suitcase wheels wouldn't go inside the measuring crate) Ended up buying a backpack. I have used the same bag for traveling from india on etihad. Decided never to use etihad for travel."

Voordelen: "Seats were very comfortable and the crew was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast could have been a bit better quality, though. Overall it was a nice flight and I would take it again."

Voordelen: "The head flight attendant went the extra mile to ensure we got aisle seats together after our seats had been changed since we checked in. Very happy that she went the extra mile to pull it off. Movies and food were very good."
Nadelen: "We didn't like that our confirmed aisle seat had been switched since we checked in and were confirmed. It was uncomfortable for a while trying to solve this with the ground staff, but they put the message through and I mentioned it again and it was resolved in the end."

Nadelen: "They have restrictions more than any other flight about the size of the hand luggage- My parents were allowed to bring one hand luggage without any problems, but they were not allowed to take it back because it was "Big!" it did not put on weight or get fat! its a hand luggage that stays the same size! They blame it on the TSA and say it has to fit in and asked us to pay 325 $ to take the same bag that they brought things in."

Voordelen: "Professional staff, super helpful and accommodating, great with kids. Food is great if you like Mediterranean. Movies, TV, video games, music all free. Neck pillows for everyone on trans-Atlantic flights."
Nadelen: "New policy (thanks TSA) that prohibits laptops in the cabin. Have to check them and risk getting smashed."

I was stopped at the gatein Seoul by Asians who refused to board me on the plane because my itenary was incorrect. Will never fly either of these airlines again, and am currently seeking repayment for my unintended 4 day stay in Seoul"

Voordelen: "The sits we're very comfortable, the food was great and there was a flight attendant who was very friendly and very professional, her name was Giorgana from Rumania, I was impressed with how polite, and efficient she was , smiling to all the passengers and doing a great job."

Voordelen: "I was pained to see so many passengers hassled at checking time by the crew. When carry luggage with same dimensions was allowed on onward journey how can it be oversized on the return journey? I was asked to refer the website for dimensions and tod that Ethihad does not use standard carry on baggage size. Some passengers were forced to buy new carry on luggage at the airport. It is pathetic service in my opinion because the airline put so many elderly passengers with no knowledge of English to a lot of heardship."

Nadelen: "Food was MUCH worse than past Etihad flights. Entertainment was too thematic for the olympics - too many movies about sports. I ran out of things to watch, and, that rarely happens for me. Seems they're not paying for good films, or, their choices are off. Started feeling a little more like American Airlines, which I hate."

There was no personal entertainment, the seat foot rest did not work — it was an old plane — the seats recline all the back to the lap of the person behind you — so when the guy in front of me was done eating he proceeded to lay back — however I wasn’t done eating — and it knocked over my glass of sparkling water —- typically even if a passenger is still eating there is still room for the person to lay back — I had to push the persons seat quickly before my whole tray was wrecked."

Nadelen: "The flight attendants did not keep the children and their seats they let them run around as we taxied the airport until one fell and had their head. Then they would not insist on them to stay in in their seats even on take off."

Nadelen: "Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."

I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Leaking emergency exits that cover passengers in condensation."

Nadelen: "What airline in 2017 requires you to present your credit card if booked using CC at time of bording, then takes 20 minutes to verify this? Oman air does. In addition, they called me to tell me my flight time changed and so decided to push the flight back one day, so they rebooked me. Then at airport was told i missed my flight...completely maddening and had to throw a fit before they finally booked us on the flight we were told by phone we had yet didnt seem to register in their systems."

Nadelen: "The seats are rediculously small and rather uncomfortable. It took way too long for us to be served beverages. And when I needed more water, no one was around to bring it. They delivered the food and then took ages to collect it once we were finished. The sound for the in flight entertainment was broken on my consol. There seemed to be a problem with the air flow: it was really hot on both flights."

Voordelen: "The Food quality was good and the flight schedule was on time with great punctuality"
Nadelen: "While being served the meals - I asked for white wine, on which i was only been given after the round of meals was over.. so which did not serve my convenience as I was expecting it to be having it with my meals."

Voordelen: "Only a 45 minute flight, but we were able to start watching their large collection of movies as soon as we boarded. Far better than comparably priced low cost carrier, don't hesitate to fly them."
Nadelen: "Since it was a very quick flight there was no service, not even a quick beverage service that you would find on similar length flights elsewhere. Still a great bargain and good experience."

Voordelen: "A few select staff.. the rest was rather "meh" or less"
Nadelen: "Most of the staff were rather inpersonal.. the food is a joke, better off without it. Kind of an embarrassment for a national airline."

Voordelen: "Most comfortable seats on the sector Lahore to Muscat, flat beds. Lounge arrangement at Muscat airport was very comfortable given that I had a long layover. Food served was mostly good and the attending crew were quite courteous!"

Nadelen: "At Oman ticket counter getting my boarding pass, ticket agent demanded to see my exit document in addition to my passport. As a US citizen I had read you can get a visa on arrival in Dubai with just your passport. Ticket agent was prepared to deny my passage on flight. Luckily I had my computer with me with my exit flight info on it which I showed to agent. In order to satisfy passport immigration when I got to Dubai I took a phone camera picture of my exit flight info. When I got to passport immigration desk in Dubai the first thing I did was show my phone camera picture of exit flight info. She said "We don't need that, we just need your passport" and I am thinking "Scam". Oman Airline would like for you to purchase additional on the spot airline ticket from them if you don't have one. As an airline in the travel business I would think that Oman Airline would make it a point to know what the rules of travel are."

Nadelen: "More than 1 hour delayed flight without annoucing it, plus while on board, earphones were not available nor handed out when I requested them because it was a short flight. Overall poor flight service and airline. They have to improve big time service onboard and on land in Muscat."

Nadelen: "All the ground stewards are useless, customer service terrible! I tried to change my boarding pass to early flights back to bahrain, they cant do any thing but to tell me to relax and sit down! I missed 2 flights going to bahrain and they let me waited for 13hrs at the airport! Flying time from MCT to BAH only takes 1 1/2 hrs! their ground staff are super lazy for them to assist passenger are so so impossible to do!"
