Nadelen: "Le manque d'espace , mais il me semble que s'est pire avec d'autres transporteurs. Dormir ou essayer de dormir dans un avion, un vraie aventure, de toute façon."

Voordelen: "Cet avion un B--777 avait plus d’espace pour les jambes, ce qui fut fortement apprécie.. Ce n'était pas le cas pour les épaules, surtout si le voisin est le moindrement corpulent ou un peu hors norme, ce qui n'est pas mon cas, ni celui de mon épouse."

Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Voordelen: "The airline stewardesses were Fabulous! Especially one from Doha to Cape Town. Food was good and more than enough to eat. I was impressed by the scheduled meals and drink offers , very important for a dietetic"

Nadelen: "Original itinerary was not followed. Plane from manila to hongkong left late and was transferred to a different flight for hongkong to Auckland .Seats not even together. Was put on 2 lay overs instead of just 1 (hongkong to Aussie then Aussie to Auckland. With no compensation at all. Sorry is not enough."

Nadelen: "I flew United, not Cathay Pacific. The food. I have had much better food in all five other International trips I have taken in the last year."

Voordelen: "Nothing much. Travelling in economy class for long flights is always a miserable experience. I can't afford to fly business and I am compelled to travel due to personal reasons"
Nadelen: "With the new security rules for flights to the US, they took my water bottle at the gate during boarding. I was dehydrated during the whole flight. The small cup of water they give during the flight is not enough for me."

Nadelen: "The only problem is if you need to go in the first flight at 6am to Hong-Kong.... they will only open the check in at 4:30 and usually you find a big waiting line. You won’t have time to do anything stead check in, go directly to inspection, after to migration to finally go straight ahead to the gate to hopefully have time to enter in the flight... to tide"

Nadelen: "Flight to Hongkong arrived late in Hongkong hence had to stay extra 31/2 hours in Honking to wait for the next flight to New York!"

Nadelen: "I’m still not there. They had me go to the airport 5 hours early to get a different flight cuz theirs was delayed then after not being able to make those flights carrying my 5 bags to 3 different terminals they said just go on their delayed flight and cuz they had over 80 people going on to Manila that they would hold the last flight there but when we landed we were informed going to a hotel and no compensation for it. I am extremely pissed off"

Nadelen: "Delayed flight and promised me in Chicago and in Flight that the plane in Hong Kong would wait. Now I am sitting inside the Airport waiting until morning to fly out. I will never fly with them again. LIARS!"

Voordelen: "Flight staff was awesome. They were all so thoughtful and extremely positive. It made a long trip so much more enjoyable!"

Nadelen: "The checkin supervisor at Ohare gave me a hard time given that am the only checking in. I felt I was profiled. Very unprofessional"

Nadelen: "The flight to jfk was considerably less convenient for me than the orig flight to Newark, and I don't appreciate that you cancelled the flight at the last minute. I imagine there were not enough business and first class customers to run the flight profitably. Well if that's true, that is terrible customer service. The airport crew had no information as to the reason for the cancellation, giving the appearance that my hypothesis is true."

Voordelen: "Arrived 40 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time. Food and drinks on board were above expectation compared to other airlines like KLM, China Southern. Cathay delivered a smooth and great service throughout this trip as per usual."

Nadelen: "Cramped seats."

Nadelen: "In Canton (Guangzhou) aangekomen was er een zeer lamé wachttijd bij de douane van ongeveer anderhalve uur voordat ik aan de beurt was. Dit heeft verder niets met Cathay te maken maar wel met de vluchthaven."

Voordelen: "Vriendelijkheid en flexibiliteit personeel, goeie app van Cathay en keurige aansluiting op vervolgvluxht."

Nadelen: "The only issue was 30 minutes waiting in HK to take off and 30 mins circling Manila waiting to land....... both of which were neither an issue with CP."

Voordelen: "Crew was great, entertainment was diverse, blankets were comfortable, and food was good. I think I'll make Cathay Pacific my airline for East Asia US travel."
Nadelen: "The number of ads before in flight entertainment could start (i.e. movie), but that's a trade off I'm guessing, so not a big concern."

Voordelen: "Via scherm goede vlucht info. Waar je je bevond op de wereld in mooie animatie. Camera's naar voren en op de staart. Prachtig."

Nadelen: "We were scammed by Kayak and Cathay Pacific. We had entered all our information correctly: first, middle, and last name. Cathay Pacific did not print the middle name of the boarding pass. Apparently, Hong Kong is strictly on the passport exactly matching the boarding pass. We were stopped before security and Cathay Pacific decided it was the perfect opportunity to charge us $400 for a rebooking instead of amending the name, which we had entered correctly in the first place. We were pushed back and forth between kayak and cathay when kayak told us they weren't able to change the name on the day of the flight. Will never fly cathay or book from kayak again."

Voordelen: "Veel ruimte, fijne zit, goede info waar je hè op welk moment bevind. Veel films te kijken."

Nadelen: "Seat was uncomfortable, something was dripping on me by the end of the flight, could have been condensation? The passenger behind me had his shoes off the entire flight and put his feet in the space beside me near the window. His feet smelt like vinegar and sweaty socks. The passenger beside me was overweight and he spilled into my seat partially. All of this did not make for a comfortable flight but thankfully it wasn't too long."

Nadelen: "The seats are so small, no leg room at all. I'm 5'7 so I'm not that tall but my knees were very close to the seat in front of me. The mans sitting next to me had broad shoulders so during the entire flight he was on my seat. Which I didn't mind because I know he could not help it since the seats were so narrow. I would never fly Turkish airlines international again and would tell people not to as well."

Nadelen: "The same food every time and its not high quality - even in Business class. The business class seats are uncomfortable, they don't recline far enough or provide adequate leg and foot support. The breakfast is not good at all and they seem to fry or provide stale croissants and danishes - they are always so hard and difficult to eat. the flight is always delayed and boarding chaotic."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "crew was great, food and beverage service was nice and plentiful, bathrooms were super clean, entertainment offering was great, head support bent perfectly to hold my head"
Nadelen: "1. CRAZY short time to transfer from TLV leg to SFO leg, 1.5 hours, and there were 5 different security lines even though we were always in the international travel area. Very stresfull. I'd much prefer an extra hour layover rather than run through airport. Why was I patted down at the gate??? 2. legroom was cramped, I was comfortable only because seat next to me was empty"

This is just to show that the marketing approach for flights decided to Africans is not a priority"

Voordelen: "The flight was great and the service was wonderful. The plane was new and clean. A huge plus was the video entertainment in every seat along with headphones and USB Charging Port. They poured me a double Glenlivet scotch on the rocks at NO CHARGE!"
Nadelen: "I booked three round-trip tickets from LAX to Athens. Our daughter did not fly with us there but we checked with ticketing in LAX and they booked her seat anyway. The issue came when we tried to leave Athens the airlines then said that I had to purchase a one-way ticket! They informed me that the flight was cancelled for my daughter because she didn't fly to Athens. The ticket was almost $1,500.00 and I intend to get my money back but it was unfortunate that they had to charge me for it in the first place."

Voordelen: "I have taken the same route earlier past year Atlanta-Istanbul-Sarajevo ,and return Overall best experience best comfort and definitely beat food"
Nadelen: "Not mich to be unliked honestly Normally there are long wait lines ,not with Turkish"

Voordelen: "My above score should be 5 stars in all categories. They were running a special price on business class upgrades. It was fabulous: food great, service attentive, and seat that totally reclined to bed. I slept over 8 hours."

Nadelen: "There was one stewardist not on my row but on another row that I witnessed getting very frustrated and was rude with a few customers. It was uncomfortable to watch her be that way. I'm glad it wasn't me but I feel bad for her and the others."

Nadelen: "The crew just couldn't get it right, half our section didn't get the hot towels before takeoff, the attendant had run out half way down the aisle then forgot to come back. Distribution of food was handled like it was the first time the crew was attempting it in a moving plane. They couldn't get orders right, handing out vegetarian dishes when non-veg dishes were requested. Running out of ice for the drinks."

Nadelen: "I have bought two sides ticket from Turkish Airlines. And i miss my first flight, when i came to airport for return flight Turkish Airlines cancel my return flight whitout update by email or massage by phon!!"

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

We found out the day before we were supposed to leave to go home, when we tried to check in online and couldn't. I spent hours of the last day of our vacation trying to figure out what was wrong, then searching for a rebooking a new flight. It cost us more than $1000 USD extra, just to get home. NOT the way we envisioned ending our vacation. I'll never use this airline again!"

The head of cabin crew personally came by to explain the problem and made he passengers feel welcome. Excellent service all around, especially when the situation is unpleasant but not within anyone’s control."

Nadelen: "I was given a baggage tag without any explanations on what that even means. It would have helped knowing I should keep it safe in case my luggage is misplaced or lost by Etihad- which is was! The seats are not that comfortable and I needed to stand a lot. Bathroom kept running out of soap and needed to wait long for staff to replace. Entertainment system was hard to use due to the person in front of me leaning their chair back the whole time so the screen was in my face."

Nadelen: "The carry-on size allowance is way too small and the staff was adamant and said pay $300 (Reason: the suitcase wheels wouldn't go inside the measuring crate) Ended up buying a backpack. I have used the same bag for traveling from india on etihad. Decided never to use etihad for travel."

Voordelen: "Seats were very comfortable and the crew was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast could have been a bit better quality, though. Overall it was a nice flight and I would take it again."

Nadelen: "They have restrictions more than any other flight about the size of the hand luggage- My parents were allowed to bring one hand luggage without any problems, but they were not allowed to take it back because it was "Big!" it did not put on weight or get fat! its a hand luggage that stays the same size! They blame it on the TSA and say it has to fit in and asked us to pay 325 $ to take the same bag that they brought things in."

Voordelen: "Professional staff, super helpful and accommodating, great with kids. Food is great if you like Mediterranean. Movies, TV, video games, music all free. Neck pillows for everyone on trans-Atlantic flights."
Nadelen: "New policy (thanks TSA) that prohibits laptops in the cabin. Have to check them and risk getting smashed."

I was stopped at the gatein Seoul by Asians who refused to board me on the plane because my itenary was incorrect. Will never fly either of these airlines again, and am currently seeking repayment for my unintended 4 day stay in Seoul"

Nadelen: "I was a business class passenger and the flight might as well have been economy, with the exception of the food. There was no personal entertainment, the seat foot rest did not work — it was an old plane — the seats recline all the back to the lap of the person behind you — so when the guy in front of me was done eating he proceeded to lay back — however I wasn’t done eating — and it knocked over my glass of sparkling water —- typically even if a passenger is still eating there is still room for the person to lay back — I had to push the persons seat quickly before my whole tray was wrecked."

Nadelen: "The flight to Muscat was great — the flight from Muscat to Bangalore sucked!"

Nadelen: "The flight attendants did not keep the children and their seats they let them run around as we taxied the airport until one fell and had their head. Then they would not insist on them to stay in in their seats even on take off."

Voordelen: "New 787 seats were extremely comfortable for short-haul, regional. 2-2-2 may not suit some people for long haul. Good selection of in-flight entertainment. Nice sincere service."
Nadelen: "Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."

I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Leaking emergency exits that cover passengers in condensation."

Nadelen: "Seats in business were ok but do not offer the position options that most airlines offer in Business."

Nadelen: "The cramped seats, no width or legroom and I'm not that tall. I think they're the most uncomfortable seats I've flown in. for a short flight they're ok, but I wouldn'tt book a long haul flight with them."

Nadelen: "What airline in 2017 requires you to present your credit card if booked using CC at time of bording, then takes 20 minutes to verify this? Oman air does. In addition, they called me to tell me my flight time changed and so decided to push the flight back one day, so they rebooked me. Then at airport was told i missed my flight...completely maddening and had to throw a fit before they finally booked us on the flight we were told by phone we had yet didnt seem to register in their systems."

Nadelen: "The seats are rediculously small and rather uncomfortable. It took way too long for us to be served beverages. And when I needed more water, no one was around to bring it. They delivered the food and then took ages to collect it once we were finished. The sound for the in flight entertainment was broken on my consol. There seemed to be a problem with the air flow: it was really hot on both flights."

Voordelen: "The Food quality was good and the flight schedule was on time with great punctuality"
Nadelen: "While being served the meals - I asked for white wine, on which i was only been given after the round of meals was over.. so which did not serve my convenience as I was expecting it to be having it with my meals."

Voordelen: "Movies"

Voordelen: "Only a 45 minute flight, but we were able to start watching their large collection of movies as soon as we boarded. Far better than comparably priced low cost carrier, don't hesitate to fly them."
Nadelen: "Since it was a very quick flight there was no service, not even a quick beverage service that you would find on similar length flights elsewhere. Still a great bargain and good experience."

Voordelen: "A few select staff.. the rest was rather "meh" or less"
Nadelen: "Most of the staff were rather inpersonal.. the food is a joke, better off without it. Kind of an embarrassment for a national airline."

Voordelen: "Most comfortable seats on the sector Lahore to Muscat, flat beds. Lounge arrangement at Muscat airport was very comfortable given that I had a long layover. Food served was mostly good and the attending crew were quite courteous!"
Nadelen: "No new movies on the entertainment system with limited choice."

Voordelen: "The flight was uneventful like you like airline flights to be."
Nadelen: "At Oman ticket counter getting my boarding pass, ticket agent demanded to see my exit document in addition to my passport. As a US citizen I had read you can get a visa on arrival in Dubai with just your passport. Ticket agent was prepared to deny my passage on flight. Luckily I had my computer with me with my exit flight info on it which I showed to agent. In order to satisfy passport immigration when I got to Dubai I took a phone camera picture of my exit flight info. When I got to passport immigration desk in Dubai the first thing I did was show my phone camera picture of exit flight info. She said "We don't need that, we just need your passport" and I am thinking "Scam". Oman Airline would like for you to purchase additional on the spot airline ticket from them if you don't have one. As an airline in the travel business I would think that Oman Airline would make it a point to know what the rules of travel are."

Voordelen: "Quick flight, as little time as possible on board!"
Nadelen: "More than 1 hour delayed flight without annoucing it, plus while on board, earphones were not available nor handed out when I requested them because it was a short flight. Overall poor flight service and airline. They have to improve big time service onboard and on land in Muscat."

Voordelen: "Cabin crew is friendly"
Nadelen: "All the ground stewards are useless, customer service terrible! I tried to change my boarding pass to early flights back to bahrain, they cant do any thing but to tell me to relax and sit down! I missed 2 flights going to bahrain and they let me waited for 13hrs at the airport! Flying time from MCT to BAH only takes 1 1/2 hrs! their ground staff are super lazy for them to assist passenger are so so impossible to do!"

Voordelen: "Over all this flight was good. I'm not a super picky traveler, but there is one thing I do really appreciate - organized boarding. I'm from The U.S. and the only airline that actually sticks to their boarding zones (or however they organize boarding) is SouthWest. Everyone else calls the boarding zone and then just takes whoever shows up first. What's the point, then?"
