A321 is a small aircraft so I think the crew did there best from the point where I was sitting!

Nadelen: "Some of the MEA checking in staff are rude and unprofessional. Some of the MEA Stewardesses are also very rude. Lebanon is known for its superb services in its hotels and restaurants, however, this is not reflected on its airlines services which is below average. Here are some of what the MEA need to do: 1. Allow ticketed travelers to evaluate MEA’s staff performance during their checking in process and on-board services, 2. Facilitate fast track lane at passport control rather than making business travelers wait sometimes 50 minutes to leave or come through passport control 3. Work with passport control management to improve the communication skill of passport control staff who mostly behave as if they are doing the travelers a favor for processing their passport immigration services. If tourism is important to Lebanon the above points need to be addressed. Hope these notes will help."
Nadelen: "We had a 20 minutes delay in Beirut airport .. The launch menu was to choose between chicken and fish , we chose chicken but were surprised that no more chicken is available .. because we were sitting nearly on the last seats .. so they were out of chicken , being allergic to sea food we missed our launch.."
Voordelen: "All went smooth. Check-in staff was courteous and focused. Often they are chatting and not paying attention to the passenger. Boarding went smoothly. Cabin crew was attentive to requests and pleasant. Captain gave all flight information clearly - no mumbling. The entertainment system worked well. They shut it off too early though, compared to other airlines."

No clear signs were available to passangers to indicate where to go and chech in. Their check in personnel were busy checking their text messages more than being helpfull and courtious to their passangers."

Nadelen: "Rude ground staff at Athens airport, unable to check in online prior to flight, had to wait in line for over an hour for a connecting flight and run to the gate to then be told I was on standby for my next connecting flight. Poor customer service, no headphones given even though all seats have tv screens - such a small thing can make a difference to overall experience eg providing headphones. The check in and boarding forbthis flight was an absolute joke. Two men were about to have a fight due to how irritated everyone was for standing in line for so long. No need whatsoever. Meanwhile 3 staff sat at the ticketing desk and just watched the line grow! When I asked for assistance they brushed me off as if I were a flea! Athens Swiss airlines ground staff are up there with the worst customer service I’ve seen."

Notre départ et notre arrivée étaient à l’heure. Nous étions bien servis par les membres d’équipage. Malheureusement, moins d’espace dans ce modèle d’avion que dans les modèles plus récents. Les écrans installés dans les sièges fonctionnent très lentement, donc pas beaucoup de divertissement pour le vol de 8 heures
Les membres d’équipage ont été attentifs. La qualité de repas- à améliorer
Transit à Frankfort : horrible !
J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.
Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable

I reached the check in counter 55 minutes before departure time. It was closed. The ticket office had no sympathy, refused to issue me a boarding pass. My flight was paid for and confirmed. There was time to get through security and reach the gate by boarding time. All i needed was the boarding pass and they would not give it. I missed the flight i had paid for and of course you won't give me a refund It caused serious problems with my trip. I'm totally disgusted and will never buy another ticket on this ariline."

Nadelen: "Le check-in online n'était malheureusement pas disponible. Certaines difficultés rencontrées avec le site internet faisaient en sorte que la procédure pour obtenir la carte d'embarquement prenait légèrement plus de temps."
Nadelen: "At Beirut airport the manager gave permission to a passenger at check in to bypass all the passengers waiting in line just because he was with someone!!! When I stepped out, and asked him can you do this. Very rudely he said, that this passenger is business class. I didn't believe him, so I asked the second manager if this is correct. He didn't do anything about it. When on the plane, the passenger, was sitting behind me in economy class. Shitty service."

Nadelen: "check-in process - they would not start check in until one hour before flight and then there was only one agent for boarding passes and one for checking luggage if you already had a boarding pass"
Nadelen: "The website only mentions about having to pay for extra luggage and they made me pay 55 dollars at the airport for a 20 kg suitcase. This is dishonest and unacceptable."

Nadelen: "On my return flight to Athens from London, I was told that my hand luggage was too large and needed to be checked. I had to pay an extra 55 pounds (75 USD) to check the bag. On my Aegean flight to London a few days before, I was able to check the bag for free. I do not understand why I was charged for the bag on the way back but not on the way over. $75 is half what I paid for the flight itself - seems way too much just to check a small bag. I will keep this in mind when considering flying with Aegean in the future."

Nadelen: "The Bucharest Airport is like an overcrowded cattle barn with 10,00 cows. It was a wild zoo. No real lines - just push your way in. The baggage drop was like a comedy skit - it you use this airport be prepared for chaos, not many signs and procedures that were old in 1890."

Though my bag fit those requirements I was forced to wait in a separate line and pay 50’euro. The lines were wrapped around and not clearly marked for each flight."

Nadelen: "It was impossible to make the check-in online. I had to go to the airport very early. The lady at the check-in desk said that my name was NOT in the system, nor was my flight reservation. She had to look up by the ticket number (highly unusual, she said). The seats were apart for me and my wife, despite the fact thet I had chosen together seats when I made the booking. Next time I will think twice before I go for Kayak or Brussels Airlines (for example, they don't have Bucharest Airport on their departure list on the B.A. website... after all, Romania is a E.U. country!) The second flight took off after 20 mins. delay, and landed w 15 mins. delay."

Nadelen: "I always check in in advance and I did this time as well. However, Tarom website did not offer the option for a vegetarian meal while I checked in. I tried again at the counter and was told I need to call 48 hours in advance for a vegetarian meal. I did not find this information on their website nor does it make sense to me that a vegetarian meal should be so hard to get. They should improve this. I had nothing to eat on the flight :-("
