Nadelen: "Some of the MEA checking in staff are rude and unprofessional. Some of the MEA Stewardesses are also very rude. Lebanon is known for its superb services in its hotels and restaurants, however, this is not reflected on its airlines services which is below average. Here are some of what the MEA need to do: 1. Allow ticketed travelers to evaluate MEA’s staff performance during their checking in process and on-board services, 2. Facilitate fast track lane at passport control rather than making business travelers wait sometimes 50 minutes to leave or come through passport control 3. Work with passport control management to improve the communication skill of passport control staff who mostly behave as if they are doing the travelers a favor for processing their passport immigration services. If tourism is important to Lebanon the above points need to be addressed. Hope these notes will help."

Nadelen: "We had a 20 minutes delay in Beirut airport .. The launch menu was to choose between chicken and fish , we chose chicken but were surprised that no more chicken is available .. because we were sitting nearly on the last seats .. so they were out of chicken , being allergic to sea food we missed our launch.."

Nadelen: "Dear sir or Madam, I’m writing this complaint as I feel so mistreated and so disrespected, I had a ticket# 2208688265549 with a confirmation# WP6DHB travelling from Tulsa , OK, USA to Cairo, Egypt. Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. So I don’t know why he was this way with me, I’m really disappointed specially that is only my first flight with Lufthansa since 2015, that flight manager made me have an extremely rough experience. one more thing when I told him I’m going to compla"

Nadelen: "Frankfurt airport: Had to walk for an hour to get from gate to gate. I was getting off an international flight and onto another international flight. International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

But I managed to sleep the entire flight. I have flown Aegean/Olympic on almost all their aircraft and I always look forward to my flight."

When I stepped out, and asked him can you do this. Very rudely he said, that this passenger is business class. I didn't believe him, so I asked the second manager if this is correct. He didn't do anything about it. When on the plane, the passenger, was sitting behind me in economy class. Shitty service."

Voordelen: "Wasn't expecting so much food for such a short journey, but it was delicious, and views from the plane were gorgeous."

Nadelen: "Very upset with airline. We arrived 1 hour and 15 mins before flight and was told they oversold our flight and gave away out tickets. That is illegal to do. I want a full refund for our 3 tickets. Our names are Bernard , Judith and Max Levin. We were suppose to leave at 5:30 am and arrive at 7:30 am. Instead, we lost the entire day and did not arrive until late afternoon . This is not right what the airline did to us. I want a refund from our credit card."

Nadelen: "Boarding process out of control after business and special need people went in . They need to have rules or enforce them if they do. Space between seat rows is tight , okay for short flights less than 2 hrs."

Nadelen: "I hated that I and 10 ither passengers were told to RUN! i had left London, so my attite was heavy, and here i am running through the airport. It was exhausting. Why should we have to run when the intial connection was 45 mins. Because one plane with the SAME airline is running late and gives us 6 minute's to get to the gate, that should not be any fault of the passengers. Radio the other flight and have them hold. I got an email that the gate changed TWICE. the airline employee did not get that memo at all. So we were raced to the wrong gate even AFTER, I mentioned the gate change. A real frustrating experience all together."

Unfortunately the flight from Mykonos was delayed (apparently due to weather but other flights were landing and departing) which caused us to miss our connection in Athens. What should have been a 2.5 hour trip ended up taking us 10 hours and we spent an entire day of our vacation waiting around in airports. Needless to say, this was the lowest point of our trip. In addition, there was virtually no information or updates provided at Mykonos airport. The flight information on the monitors was incorrect and there were no announcements made. We had to exit the security area and walk over to Aegean Air desk in order to find out what was going on. This lack of information caused us additional delays as we sat in the airport waiting for an update. Aegean Air handed us a sheet saying that their service fell below the standard and that we were entitled to free flights, but we won't be able to use them as we were only in Greece for a limited time (on our honeymoon). It would be terrific if Kayak could get our flights refunded by Aegean Air. Thank you."

Nadelen: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Nadelen: "Follow your own policies. Allow people to board (economy plus) with their hand luggage who have followed all the rules and chosen a seat in the front of the plane. My daughter and my KLM approved baggage were taken by the boarding crew while allowing other passengers to go with more than allowed"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Voordelen: "Entertainment was amazing! They even have four Harry Potter movies! We were told in advance that the flight was going to be delayed, which is really positive. Very friendly personnel."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Voordelen: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

They were kind to invite first families with children to pass to the bus but this meant sitting in a sauna @ 40+ Celsius until all passengers went through the gate. Driver was all red and close to fainting. Pity, I was looking forward seeing one of the big managers coming next to us to enjoy the Tarom experience...!"

The airline took my hand luggage in good condition, and when I got it back, one zipper pull had been snapped in half. I tried to file a claim when I landed, but airport personnel said that for cabin baggage, there was nothing they could do."

Voordelen: "Staff were cordial and efficient. Boarding was efficient and smooth."
Nadelen: "Uncomfortable chairs (little legroom, no leaning backs for the seats)."

Nadelen: "It was impossible to make the check-in online. I had to go to the airport very early. The lady at the check-in desk said that my name was NOT in the system, nor was my flight reservation. She had to look up by the ticket number (highly unusual, she said). The seats were apart for me and my wife, despite the fact thet I had chosen together seats when I made the booking. Next time I will think twice before I go for Kayak or Brussels Airlines (for example, they don't have Bucharest Airport on their departure list on the B.A. website... after all, Romania is a E.U. country!) The second flight took off after 20 mins. delay, and landed w 15 mins. delay."
