"Simple and easy"

"Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance."

I was randomly asked to check in my standard size carry one although many passengers with larger bags were allowed to take them with them. Overall there was a lack of planned approach."

Fortunately another crew member (who we also asked as they went by) brought water to those she had skipped who wanted it. My TV monitor was not working. Aging planes - need a thorough cleaning. The announcements were garbled and very difficult to hear."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "British Airways introduced boarding by groups Inspite of my plea for my husband who recently undergone heart surgery he had to stand and queu until our group number was allowed to enter the plane. We have been told very firmly by taciturn lady at Fumicino Rome that this are new rules nad they are to be obeyed! compassion is not forte in our experience of British Airways."

Voordelen: "Horaires respectés"
Nadelen: "Compagnie largement subventionné par le gouvernement britannique pourrait se fendre d'un thé gratuit au moins. Assez honteux"

Voordelen: "Pro et en règle sur les timing et prestations"
Nadelen: "Un peu trop de turbulence du côté du Groenland et donc difficile de dormir. Les services à bord ne sont par contre pas au niveau des compagnies du golf ou asiatiques."

Voordelen: "Bagages inclus et personnels sympathique et serviable"
Nadelen: "Tout est payant en supplément, aucun divertissement dans l’avion même pas un écran générale ou de la musique. Même les places sont payantes si vous voulez les choisir avant le check-in"

Voordelen: "la ponctualité, la propreté, le confort de l'avion, un vol sans problème"
Nadelen: "j'aurai aimé avoir la traduction en français car je n'ai rien compris"

Nadelen: "No tv at all"

Voordelen: "I like being serviced dinner on the flight. I like the personal iPad to watch movie."
Nadelen: "The seating was a little tight."

Nadelen: "1 heure de retard Plusieurs vols annulés donc bcq de monde à l'embarquement Nourriture payante alors que le vol faisait partie d'un vol paris-singapour"

Nadelen: "retard d'environ 2h donc plus de train pour pouvoir renter à domicile pas de compensations par la compagnie(mème pas un café ) hormis des excuses de l’équipage pour le retard"

Nadelen: "Vacation was cancelled due to illness."

Voordelen: "Le personnel très avenant et souriant."

Nadelen: "Le manque d'attention du personnel de bord qui reste très impersonnel. pas de café à la fin du repas ni de digestif, Les films pas très intéressants"

Voordelen: "Crew are really the highlight. Food and seats are good in business class."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. Passengers were bunched up outside the departure lounge - not sure if there were lines or not. Got sorted when we got into the lounge."

Voordelen: "Arrived on time although departure was delayed. Cabin crew was vert friendlyand boarding was fast"
Nadelen: "Would have been nice if the reading material was not so beat up to match the plane's perfect interior, otherwise nothing to fault at all"

Nadelen: "I felt that I was treated differently because I am American."

Nadelen: "C est un scandale: l embarquement m a ete refusé pretendant un risque de fraude avec ma carte. J ai recu une confirmation de paiement, j ai fait l enregistrement, j ai passe la frontiere. Et je n ai pas pu monter dans le vol!!! Je n ai recu aucun message avant le vol. J ai perdu un week end avec mon mari que je ne vois jamais car il vit a l autre bout du monde."

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable"
Nadelen: "Everything was fine"

Nadelen: "Nice"

Nadelen: "Flight was totally full... At least everyone had a mask on American does not space seats like Delta does I will be taking Delta whenever possible"

Voordelen: "Crew was great. Plane felt good and clean."
Nadelen: "My flight from Gainesville to Charlotte, we had to deplane down plane steps. I was told we would have jetway every flight. I have had hip replacement and steep steps very uncomfortable. Unable to deplane down them with both purse and small carryon. Someone always has to help me carry my carryon plus theirs as there is no provision for help from the airline. American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."

Nadelen: "I bought WiFi for my iPhone on the flight and could barely use it because it kept kicking me off and was super slow."

Nadelen: "I think boarding from rear would facilitate faster boarding And eliminate people blocking Aisle ( standing in aisle and digging In their carryons preventing people From finding their seats further down the aisle. Also people with a connecting flight Pressed for time on their next flight Departure...Should be allowed to deplane first..so they don't miss their next flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Foot room. Baggage room. Entertainment. Service"

Voordelen: "Flight attendants were amazing. Definitely some of the best I've ever encountered."
Nadelen: "Crew at the desk were rude. They also enacted policies that I'd never seen before about gate checking, and implied I was crazy when I noted how unusual it was. I literally came off a previous AA flight with the previous policy and they said I was confusing them with AE."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats & fast boarding"

Nadelen: "As always, the crew was friendly, professional and accommodating."

Voordelen: "Smooth ride"

Nadelen: "In a perfect world, no 2-hour delay."

Nadelen: "O prematurely had to check my carry on when there was room to bring it on board with me"

Nadelen: "The service, and the smile on employee’s faces. Rolling their eyes at people because we want to know why we’re being delayed is disrespectful"

Nadelen: "Felt good to be home after almost 4 hours delayed."

Voordelen: "nothing since i was not able to make it on time"
Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "Juste la rapidité du vol.les pilotes étaientt très bien autour du vol..."
Nadelen: "Le vol a accusé un retard de une heure et en plus on n'a changé du lieu d'embarquement qui est passé du 77 au 75.il fallait que chaque voyageur se renseigne."

Voordelen: "Le personnel est parfait"
Nadelen: "Vraiment pas beaucoup de place dans le siège pour les bras et jambes"

Voordelen: "Being bumped to first class."

Nadelen: "Le prix du bagage à payer en plus du prix"

Nadelen: "A small meal would have been appreciated for first class cabin. Al that was offered was a cookie."

Nadelen: "Le vol a ete annulé et j ai ete bloque sans voucher ou support"

Voordelen: "Visiter l’aerairport de JFK"
Nadelen: "Ponctualité, service à la clientèle, accommoder pour changement de siège, courtoisie, service à bord, efficacité des mesures de sécurité"

Nadelen: "Le déclassement en classe économique sans prévenir et une indemnisation impossible vol British opéré par American et donc les deux compagnie se renvoie la balle pour l’indemnisation (trois cents dollars par siège....) Plus jamais de voyage sur cette compagnie"

Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."
Nadelen: "Le service à la clientèle"

Nadelen: "Une heure de retard au décollage"

Voordelen: "Fast boarding and unloading."
Nadelen: "Flight leaving on time."

Voordelen: "Mon avion est parti de SF à Miami pendant une heure puis à fait Demi-tour. Nous avons attendu 2h à l’aéroport. Nous n’avons pas été pris en charge. Terrible expérience. Je n’ai pas été remboursée."

Voordelen: "The snacks."
Nadelen: "This was the worst flight I've ever been on. Delayed 7 hours. Made it to deicing pad only to be told we needed to turn back to the gate due to technical issues. Kept being told 15 more minutes until departure."

Nadelen: "Restes 1 heure dans l'avion sur la piste pour partir en retard du meme delai. Pour un vol de 90 minutes, decevant."

Voordelen: "A l'heure"
Nadelen: "Sièges inconfortables. Assis trop haute."

Voordelen: "Th flight was a few minutes late boarding but we landed on time. It was a nice smooth flight!"

Voordelen: "Tout s’est bien passer, c’etait facile."
Nadelen: "La temperature durant le vol était mouvementé"

Nadelen: "Le vol a été annulé personne ne nous a averti c’est kayak qui nous a dit de vérifier. Ils nous ont mis sur aucun autre vol jusqu’au lendemain."

Voordelen: "The staff were polite and the pilot kept us on time. The flight wasn’t over booked and I was able to have an extra seat between myself and the other passenger in my row."
Nadelen: "That due to the Kayak purchase I had to wait until the last group to board."

Nadelen: "Aucune des télé ne fonctionne pendant la totalité du vol Biscuits food ridicules Le prix des bagages et la queue pour obtenir son ticket puis refaire la queue pour déposer bagages Double paiement bagages mémé en transit / inacceptable"

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "There was a lot of announcements on the very early flight trying to get people to signup for a credit card...too early for all those unimportant announcements :("

Voordelen: "Perfect"

Voordelen: "The professionalism of the crew and the cleanliness was excellent!"
Nadelen: "The seats weren’t very comfortable!"

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, the entertainment selections in the screen on the seat back were great, loved that there was more than one outlet for plugging in devices to charge, the sunset/sunrise lighting effect was really near"
Nadelen: "I honestly cannot come up with something that I did not lie"

Nadelen: "un vol de sept heures sans un écran individuel, une première pour moi après de nombreux voyages. un vol transatlantique n'est pas un vol intérieur, pouvoir se distraire avec un film de son choix est un minimum surtout au prix du billet."

Nadelen: "The boarding passes I printed out at home could not be scanned at the airport. This also happened last time I flew. There are words printed thru the optical."
