Nadelen: "Checked in online. Needed to drop my snowboard bag off. I had 2 hrs...got in the express line to drop bags with ticket. They kept taking people from every other line in front of us. Took 1 hr to drop a bag. Got through security line and told my boarding pass is no good. 30 min before flight. Back to Swiss. Have a meltdown and finally they help. Now I’m in Geneva and my bags in Zurich..."

Voordelen: "We did finally take off for our trip and get to our destination. The movies were tremendous help to pass the time. The food was delicious for hungry tired people"
Nadelen: "The crews rushed passed you and never offered if you needed further. One cup of soda after all those hours waiting left feeling dehydrated. Crews could have been more accommodating as made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of happy to assist me"

This flight to Geneva (change of airports) was late and the flight to Vienna took off with no passengers from our flight, after we were told it would wait. ' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair."

Voordelen: "The next best thing to the hard-working and kind crew was the lighting design. Meals were OK, and I was delighted that the vegan meals I ordered for my travel companion were right there as ordered. Not a common occurrence of late, I’m afraid, so I congratulate Swiss one getting this one right."
Nadelen: "Legroom is non-existent. This was by far the most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever flown on, with the possible exception of an Ilyushin 62 operated by Tarom in 1983. I felt bad for the man in front of me, with my knees in his back. That is, until he reclined his seat and put my video screen in my face. Not much to watch anyway, but it was impossible to lean forward at all. Boarding at JFK was rather chaotic."

Nadelen: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Nadelen: "Incredibly uncomfortable, not enough minimum space to fit my knees behind seat in front when front passenger reclined. 6 hours is too long to have a metal rod sticking straight into your knee caps. Shoulders were squished between other passengers and had to sit twisted the whole way and Im not a large person, but am 6ft. Cabin crew impolite and unhelpful. Food was awful and made my friend sick."

We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

I think this is very off putting as I have been a Virgin member for years and it is very disappointing."

Nadelen: "Wasn't Virgin Atlantic, it was delta. We thought we were flying Virgin Atlantic. Dissapointment #1 Interactive TV's were horrible and required assistance to work them. Touch screens weren't responsive. Food was bad."

Nadelen: "My luggage didn't arrive at my destination until 2 days after I did. And after I checked my luggage, a leather satchel was stolen from my suitcase. I reported the theft to Virgin Atlantic and requested a report nearly a week ago and have heard nothing back. I am usually careful about packing luggage, and did not think the leather satchel would attract a thief working for the airline, but I will not make that mistake again! DO NOT TRUST VIRGIN TO HANDLE LUGGAGE."

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

When I finally arrived in Helsinki, I missed my connection to Riga and was rescheduled for a flight 6 hours later even though there were two flights leaving before then. Also I requested vegetarian meal online, but was not served vegetarian. They did not have any extras."

Voordelen: "Personal finnair were very unpleasant and offered me for 30 min flight to Tallinn wait 8.5 hours flight to Stockholm and coming next day afternoon. Everything was too bad. I had to get taxi and boat and coming in Tallinn. I lost time and money. I never going to use finnair and kayak again."

Nadelen: "They had hidden checked bag fees. Their website says flights from the US get a free checked bag. The checkout charged me $60 to check a bag, when I looked on my reservation it says it’s $55 and when I called customer service they said they charge $100 to check 1 bag less than 20kg for an international flight"

Voordelen: ".My flight left on time ,smooth landing and the cabin temperature seemed more normal than the usual cold interior. Cabin crew were friendly and helpful from JFK to Helsinki and Helsinki back to JFK . Overall a good airline but far from premium."

Nadelen: "I paid $90 for economy comfort for my flight and did not get an economy comfort seat. I am very disappointed with Finnair in this. They will not refund my money at the airport and now I need to go through their home office for a refund. It was bad enough not having any extra leg room on a red eye when you are over 6 feet tall but now I have to jump through hoops to get my money back."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Nadelen: "Seats were too closely spaced. Like a coffin. Will probably not fly Finnair unless the price is next to nothing."

Nadelen: "Only drinks with dinner, other airlines serve the whole time. Limited selection of drinks. Other airlines do not limit. Not enough leg room and I'm only 5'7. Seat in front leaned back to far."

Nadelen: "We sat in the plane for 7.5 hours before moving. Airline provided no extra food though served what was meant to be breakfast before landing in the evening. Then they had not even coffee before actually landing. The vegetarian breakfast that was served in the evening had one dry pita bread with two slices of cucumbers and tomatoes, very lousy. Finnair has had that for years. If you order lacto-ovo meal, you get a vegan breakfast, a very low quality one. Why? I paid about $1500 for the flight and would like some service, too."

Nadelen: "After waiting around in the airport for almost 10 hours we were finally told the flight was cancelled and my direct flight turned into a taxi transfer and 3 flights with a day lost on my vacation. I was not offered any compensation however I heard some passengers were given $7 food vouchers to be spent only in a small convenience store that was the only store open."

Nadelen: "nobody from justfly and kayak even tried to argued that I didn't missed the flight and I was one of hundreds that was in line way before flight time"

Voordelen: "Usually a 7 hours flight is a torture for me, but with their outstanding service I didn't notice how time flew by.The flight attendants were providing us with all necessary information about next connections."

Voordelen: "As always, BA did an excellent job with my evening flight from JFK to LHR. They were prompt, efficient and very helpful and although my flight was quite full, we left on time and had no issues in the air. I was very pleased with their service and especially as I paid such a low fare through Finn Air, I can't complain. This was a great option to utilise, rather than paying BA's more expensive fares. I would definitely go through this way again."

Voordelen: "Other than the fact that it's a direct flight from jfk to Helsinki, there's not much else to like about it"
Nadelen: "Even though we paid extra for comfort seats, the seats were extremely uncomfortable! Not just the lack of sufficient leg room (especially when the person in front reclined) but most importantly the quality of the cushions. They were like cardboard and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. We were not able to sleep at all due to the discomfort! Additionally, they lost my luggage. It has been more than 24 hrs since I landed and I still haven't heard anything from them as to where my luggage was, when I should expect it why it still hasn't been delivered. Overall, a terrible experience."

My family and I will NEVER TRAVEL WITH AER LINGUS AGAIN....the worst airline in the world"

Nadelen: "The flight was canceled hours before departure. I waited for 30 minutes on hold to see if I could get on a different flight. But they couldn’t get me to my destination for 2-3 days after my originally-scheduled arrival."

Voordelen: "Crew were amazing. The cabin had the new lighting system which was an unexpected bonus, love it."

Once seat in front of me was back I could not retrieve anything stowed under my seat. No room to bend. Awful. Also plane seemed worn. The magazine rack in front of my seat was brokenness one side and kept falling forward on my knees. Had hoped to sleep during this redeye; not a chance."

Voordelen: "When boarding, initial impression was that of a very clean and fresh atmosphere. Attendants appeared very neat and acted very professional. More so than any airline I have travelled with."

By the time I was able to check in all that was left was a middle seat. I asked about upgrades and was told I would need to pay full price for one of those tickets. The seats are veryyy cramped, the entertainment system was outdated, the food was gross and wine was expensive."
