Other than that everything was good!"

Voordelen: "From the beginning to end the trip was a delight. Crew always on hand and smiling. You really felt welcomed. Lots of food and drinks were on hand throughout the whole trip. It was just wonderful. Cheers to Swiss for providing us with great service."

Le personnel de bord disparaît après le service du repas et ce, pour le restant du vol. Les rideaux séparateurs restent ouverts! Quant au confort des sièges, n’en parlons même pas! Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Nadelen: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Check in was much quicker than previously and staff were very friendly. I like being able to get boarding passes online which makes boarding much easier. I liked having space for comfort by seat"

Voordelen: "Je suis allergique à la moutarde et aux à l’avance d’en faire part sur le site d’enregistrement. J’ai tenté d’appeler mais après avoir perdu 20 minutes j’ai abandonné. Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."

Soft drinks are given in a 4 or 6 ounce cup, very small."

Nadelen: "I was charged for baggage FLYUS confirmation did not clearly explain about the charge before I booked the flight. Not good!"

Nadelen: "Arriving in Reykjavik, we needed to bus to the terminal. Weather was fine so it wasn't a big deal, but it involved additional waiting and the buses fill up quickly."

They first gave me bottled water from iceland, very interesting taste, supposedly it was filtered through a volcano. The entertainment was great they have enough movies and TV shows to keep you entertained for endless amount of hours. And the flight attendants were so nice and polite."
Nadelen: "The music on the entertainment. I understand that the airline is trying to promote the arts and culture of Iceland. That's nothing it would bother me."

Now we are in town for 16 hours and are flying to Sweden with an hour layover then to Geneva. Have bee assured there is plenty of time to make the connection. Let's just say I am skeptical."

Voordelen: "Seats ok. No food unless paid extra. Really? NO food on an overseas flight?! No Global Pass boarding. Perfect landing in KEF, absolutely horrible landing at Heathrow! So bad it should have been explained!"

Nadelen: "Bus from boarding area to plane was not the best experience --- like LHR 40 years ago. Also, my checked bag apparently did not get transferred at KEF."

Voordelen: "Friendly staff. Low wait time at passport control compared to other connection points in Europe."
Nadelen: "We were delayed for two hours due to a weather delay from the day before. When we boarded our plane it was cold, and then we had to sit and wait for 45 minutes while we waited for connecting passengers. I would've preferred to be held up inside the terminal a little longer than sit on a cold plane with little communication. No water fountains at KEF"

Voordelen: "Very professional. Left nothing out. Perfect flight"

Voordelen: "The crew and check in were easy and fast in CHI. The flight was just fine - be ready for Icelandic first then English - fun experience for sure! The detailed information they gave about what to do about our next flight in Reykjavik was helpful and proactive. One stewardess on the flight even gave my wife a whole extra large bottle of water and said, "Anything for the new mother!" Good customer service and sensitivity."

Nadelen: "There isn't free food. You must pay for the food and it's expensive."

Voordelen: "There was more leg room that we thought there would be; we were left alone to sleep by the attendants. The pilots let us know important information."
Nadelen: "We were 3 hours late to Denver after leaving Iceland late. This was partially due to weather. The only upsetting thing was the $31 "dinner" available in the airport consisting of a frozen individual pizza, sandwich and 2 waters! We felt like we were being gouged for the airlines issues. The entertainment system on this flight from Iceland to Denver was a bit old and of all four flights, the system was difficult to access."

Voordelen: "The crew was very friendly and accommodating."
Nadelen: "The temperature on the flight to Iceland was excessively warm. I am typically a person who enjoys the warmer temperatures but most passengers were uncomfortable with the temperature. This being the only exception to our experience with our flights to Iceland and Norway."

Nadelen: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed AFTER we boarded and were taxi-ing the runway. We had to deboard and wait 3 hours until the plane was ready. It really interrupted my travel schedule once I landed in Washington DC. The airline didn't even offer us food vouchers or anything while we waited."

Nadelen: "Delayed flight leading to 4 hours lost and a transfer through Copenhagen No food unless you pay Staff not very nice"

Nadelen: "Head rests are uncomfortable. The Reyjiacik airport is crazy how everything leaves around the same time, so its super crowded! Didn't pick up trash often enough."

Voordelen: "that it wasn't Iceland air. we were re-booked with Lufthansa (through Frankfurt) and the crew had bought dinner for the 36 extra passengers (from Iceland air missed connections) -- for a 3 hour flight! so let me recap: Iceland air had NO FOOD for our transatlantic flight. Lufthansa BOUGHT FOOD for the extra passengers for a 3 hour internal Europe flight! next time we will fly Lufthansa =)"

If the flight offers snack and two meal options, at least one should be vegetarian to accommodate this common population of passengers."

Mais impossible de retrouver la trace sur mon mail de confirmation. Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."

Nadelen: "I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

Had to go to LIS airport to buy at the right price. 2) Had to pay for my free of charge seats!!!! They changed 4 times!!! a) Having tickets with seat assignments free of charge, had the chosen seats confirmed on e-ticket. b) At airport, 3 days before departure, attendant informed that seats assignment had been erased; she made new seat assignments at worse location; c) On check-in, found that seats were changed again to worse even; now to the back, and “2 in the middle of 4”. d) Had to pay to get my original free of charge seat assignments!!! Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."
