Nadelen: "Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

BBC news didn't work on any leg of the trip and the Japanese news was in Japanese only, no English."

Nadelen: "Flight actually has a later departure slot than the headline departure time; being Narita, there is a significant risk of extra delay due to runway congestion. Arrived late at BRU and nearly missed connection due to combination of this (nearly 1 hour delay) and adverse jet stream."

This meant the seat was in that position until time to land. So I had to make a choice to sleep or eat, horrible for CX."

Prefer more quality food, even if i have to pay extra"

Nadelen: "De ruimte van de toch grote airbus 350-900 vond ik tegenvallen. Niet veel groter dan een europese vlucht."

Nadelen: "I was not allowed to board the flight and made to wait for 4 hours at the Paris airport. This is extremely disheartening and frustrating to say the least. I would want to rescedhule my upcoming flight to avoid such inconvenience."

Voordelen: "Was on time! Not croweded!"

Voordelen: "1. Leg space is bigger then on other companies 2. Crew was really affable 3. Free wine"
Nadelen: "Meal was not too hearty. Breakfast in Indian style was too spicy for me. May be I should request a special meal on check-in. And one more thing, Helsinki airport is cold for me. I spent e hours in down vest. Be warned."

Voordelen: "Hi enjoy the trip"
Nadelen: "No complaints"

Nadelen: "Boarding was delayed. Missed the connection flight."

Nadelen: "Same as above. Seats very narrow. But enough leg room"

Voordelen: "The choice of entertainment is huge"
Nadelen: "The fisical conditions are terrible. Seats so narrow and rows are so close, that you practically pooched into your neighbors, those that behind don't let you to recline your seat as then your seat is in their face. It looks like American Airlines hopes to exchange your reality with virtuality, but our bodies that we are for some reason taking with us on that itinerary - suffer."

Voordelen: "Staff was very friendly, food was ok"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed multiple times"

Voordelen: "I really enjoyed the whole flight - Finnair is definitely one of the best airlines."
Nadelen: "I wish there was a bigger choice of classical music in the entertainment program."

Nadelen: "Seats too crowded for 8 hour flight. As soon as the person in front leans back you have no room it is unbelievably uncomfortable to have a seat back in your face for that long!"

Voordelen: "In cabin crew was good. Good service"
Nadelen: "Crew at gate wasn't really friendly. Made some of us check in our carry ons stating that the flight was full, but I found on the plane that there was tons of overhead space after everyone had boarded. I had a connecting flight to tallin for a conference and was nervous that my checked in carry-on wouldn't make it."

Voordelen: "The food was surprisingly pretty good"
Nadelen: "It was an old plane (A330-300). The seats are not very comfy, not much leg-room, and not very stable (i.e., when others are getting up in front or behind you)"

Nadelen: "Delay"

Voordelen: "Finnair was tolerable for a 1.5 hours flight. I tried blueberry juice for the first time and quite liked it. There was no food on this flight."
Nadelen: "Nothing to complain about for the short leg."

Nadelen: "Left the cabin lights on most of the trip and kept interrupting with announcements to sell duty free and other things when most people just wanted to sleep. Flight from Chicago to Helsinki was much better."

Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful crew"
Nadelen: "Boarding process was caotic. We were delayed boarding and arriving. No explanation. Meal selection ran out by row 46 (of 57?) Not choosing finnair to fly with again"

Voordelen: "On time."
Nadelen: "Seats are uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "My stay in the air was approximately about an hour from stockholm to Helsinki. They smiled me and gave comfortable service as always . Thanks"
Nadelen: "It may be not about flying process but airport environment or service. ARN airport was a bit cold even inside of the building . The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."

Voordelen: "Spacious, on time and smooth"
Nadelen: "There were no vegetarian options and I was unsure where to select a meal preference. This means that I did not eat anything for the duration of the flight....."

Nadelen: "Boarding was horrible. We could not get anyone to confirm a gate, then we were delayed and finally bused into the middle of the tarmac for boarding. A lack of information was extremely stressful and unsatisfying."

Voordelen: "Flight attendants"
Nadelen: "Operated by American. Delayed for 4 hours"

Voordelen: "Nothing!!"

Voordelen: "Loved the flight attendance!! They were friendly, witty and flexible."
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Great airline. Food great comfortable seats."

Nadelen: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

Voordelen: "Overall a great flight."
Nadelen: "Breakfast not their best meal. No tea or coffee served, very disappointing."

Voordelen: "Everything good except getting bag after flight."
Nadelen: "Took over an hour at baggage claim."

Voordelen: "Best price from Dallas to Barcelona, and then Madrid to Dallas."

Voordelen: "Temperature on flight was comfortably cool. Food was delicious and flight attendants were pleasant and attentive. The flight was full but service was prompt. Very enjoyable!"
Nadelen: "The lighting on my screen made it difficult to see it very well...adjusting brightness was not effective. Also, the programming selection was somewhat limited and it would have been nice to start a movie when you wanted instead of waiting."

Voordelen: "Not bad as cross-ocean flights go, but cramped. The seats (and the available room per person) are what would be considered normal nowadays, but I remember flying thirty years ago. The crew was very pleasant and snacks were served (and appreciated), but didn't make up for the cramped conditions."

Voordelen: "It was relatively inexpensive. I didn't mind the food/"
Nadelen: "This flight was operated by BA. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. When the guy in front of me reclined his head was practically in my lap. TV's were crappy and the in-flight selection was mediocre. In flights announcements were very loud through headphones."

Nadelen: "It is absolutely ridiculous that they made us pay $100 each way for our ski bag/equipment. I will never fly either airline again. Horrible customer service as well. The airplane and its entertainment system is quite antiquated and needs to be updated. Horrible experience."

Voordelen: "Friendly crew"

Voordelen: "Nice staff. Food was quite good I wanted a window seat. Request not filled. Over all flight was good."

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "The upgrade to World Traveler Plus was $330.00 and worthless. They assured me Business Class food service. NOT TRUE. You get the usual coach class prison-type food. Non-existent flight crew service (I got one mini can of Coke the entire flight). Cramped seat next to noisy bathroom. Whole experience was bad."

Voordelen: "Very pleasant and efficient crew"
Nadelen: "Departing 50 minutes late. However, most of the time was made up enroute"
