Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "Frankfurt airport: Had to walk for an hour to get from gate to gate. I was getting off an international flight and onto another international flight. International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

Nadelen: "The plane was half way full, i had the seat in the economy section same like a big guy, at one point i asked the flight attendant if i can change my seat to another economy seat (I didn't want a free upgrade) because the guy in my right could fit in his seat with the arm rest down and it was getting uncomfortable for me. She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy"

I left my head phone on the plane, spoke with a Lufthansa rep they called and said I would not have time to go back for them but they would send them to me. then the flight going from Munich to Frankfurt was late so I missed my flight from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf. Waited for 3 hours then the flight to Dusseldorf was canceled. waited for 2 hours for a train ticket. then had to take another train to the airport to get a rental car. GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 11:30pm Saturday night had to be at work at 7:00am NOT HAPPY"

Nadelen: "The flight was over 2 hours late leaving Copenhagen, and then we sat at the gate while they unloaded bags to find the luggage of some passengers who decided not to be on that flight. Then it was total chaos at O'Hare. Very few SAS ticket agents who were not prepared to deal with the many passengers who had missed connections. We spent the night on hard chairs in the airport when we could have been re-booked on a flight out that night if they had been at all organized and efficient."

My friends booked with Expedia the exact itinerary and were able to reach a human and we're told that SAS always reimburses for cancellations. I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Nadelen: "So many delays and lost luggage. The craziest was leaving Manchester. I was supposed to have 30 minutes after leaving security at Manchester and would have done if they hadn't decided to board early. That's ok but then we sat on the plane waiting which resulted in leaving later than the original time of departure and therefore a large run for my connection at Copenhagen. Was badly organized clearly."

I didn't care about paying, at that pout I would have paid $100 for some water. Seats are RIDICULOUSLY small and when the person in front of you puts their seat back it's impossible to do anything. Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Arrivée à l’intérieur de l’avion, les compartiments à bagages à main étaient pratiquement tous plein. Eu beaucoup de misère à éviter de mettre mon sac à dos sous le siège devant moi. Chose que je déteste car je suis très grand et j’ai besoin d’espace pour mes jambes. On a finalement trouvé un endroit à inséré mon sc à dos après avoir argumenté avec l’agent de bors."

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Nadelen: "The booking times from kayak to air canada did not match. Air canada shows times in hundred hours and kayak shows them in am/pm."

Voordelen: "Great crew and smooth flight. Boarding is a bit stressful because storage is eaten up quickly by other passengers. Great movie selection and decent food. Thank you!"

Nadelen: "Un WC hors d'usage. Le système de divertissement inopérant pour les films: téléchargement trèèèssss lent et interruptions. Impossible d'ecouter un film. Enfin, les,sièges sont inconfortables pour un trajet de près de 4'heures!"

Voordelen: "Tres confortable considérant le choix de l’avion qui est ieux qu’un 777 qui dessert habituellement ce lien."

Nadelen: "45minutes pour mon fauteuil"

Nadelen: "I lost over a day of my trip because a flight was cancelled and wasted 6 hours trying to rebook with no help from the staff, who were extremely rude. Everyone on the canceled flight had to be aggressive at getting a new flight booked because there was no help. Every time you asked an associate from Aur Canada for help, the passed the problem off not taking any responsibility. If your name is on my ticket, then it's your responsibility. Worst experience traveling by far. Also lost over a day of my expensive trip that I've been waiting to go on for awhile and saved my money for a year. I lost hundreds of dollars in events and hotels. Avoid Air Canada if possible"

On doit apporter notre appareil pour profiter des divertissements mais aucune prise électrique pour le charger si besoin donc soit on n'en profite pas, soit on paie 10$ pour louer un iPad."

Nadelen: "L'agent qui vérifiait les billets d'embarquement a été bête avec moi car je suis passé à travers la ligne de la zone 3 à la zone 1-2 (où il n'y avait plus personne). Tous les clients zone 1 à 3 avaient été appelés. Mais elle a refusé de passer mon boarding pass et m'a demandé sèchement de retourner en arrière de la ligne de la zone 3. Je n'ai pas apprécié son attitude bête."

Nadelen: "My father is 89 and our whole family went to see him off. My husband, 3 children and myself. When I went to the ticket gate to check him in, the ladies did not issue a family pass to us. They said only 1 member of our family can go with him to wheel him to the gate. So my husband went since my father had 2 carry on luggage plus he wheeled my father. So the ladies were not very understanding. At that age I do hope he makes it back in 6 months for us all to see him again! We've been issued passes before and their only excuse was it was busy which it was not at all, no lines anywhere."

Voordelen: "This leg home had nice United staff but bumpy. I got seasick but the cabin folks were kind. The leg out in a small plane was bad with one surly female cabin aide. I will tell United in a separate correspondence."

Voordelen: "Had plenty of legroom after upgrading to bigger seat."
Nadelen: "Pricey food options and was not offered any refill on my drink."
