Nadelen: "Rude ground staff at Athens airport, unable to check in online prior to flight, had to wait in line for over an hour for a connecting flight and run to the gate to then be told I was on standby for my next connecting flight. Poor customer service, no headphones given even though all seats have tv screens - such a small thing can make a difference to overall experience eg providing headphones. The check in and boarding forbthis flight was an absolute joke. Two men were about to have a fight due to how irritated everyone was for standing in line for so long. No need whatsoever. Meanwhile 3 staff sat at the ticketing desk and just watched the line grow! When I asked for assistance they brushed me off as if I were a flea! Athens Swiss airlines ground staff are up there with the worst customer service I’ve seen."

On m'a promis de trouver une solution pour qu'à la fin la personne ne vienne même pas me dire en face qu'il n'y avait pas de solution. Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Le transfert de dossier entre Delta et Air France qui affrétait l'avion n'avait pas été réalisé. Nous n'avions pas de billets pour le vol retour. Le personnel Air France à l'enregistrement nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec le service assistance Delta Américain pour le transfert de notre dossier, alors que j'ai des enfants en bas âge… Finalement, quelqu'un a accepté de s'occuper de nous, et après une heure de négociation, il est parvenu à nous avoir des billets d'avion. C'était une expérience très désagréable. Je ferai attention pour mon prochain voyage à acheter mes billets d'avion autrement

Écran ne fonctionnait pas …. Pas d’alternative

Température de la ventilation très basse.

Amélioration: le check in sur ordinateur deux jours avant qui prendr trop de temps et ne fonctionnait pas. (Près de 4 heures dd mon temps ! Entre les essais multiples et amples téléphoniques) make it simpler.

Personnel très sympa, très serviable.

Le repas était léger, avec des légumes mal cuits, une purée trop salée et un morceau de poulet mauvais. Au petit déjeuner, sandwich au fromage 😒

Checkin via l’appli impossible

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

Mauvaise gestion du retard et de l’embarquement. Repas minuscule qui donne la nausée. Personnel de bord qui parle super fort y compris quand 75% du vol dort…. J’étais très mal installé, même dans une low cost j’étais mieux, assez déçue

Plane got switched and I was moved to the back

Connecting flights with first class seats is not as enjoyable since the flight was short. Will look to take more straight flights so i can enjoy first class more!

Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance.

The flight was on time. Delta was very communicative as far as checking in, luggage, boarding ect. I was traveling with an infant, it would’ve been nice if they helped us out with an aisle seat.

Recovery is taking its toll, The Delta employees are burdened with the covid restrictions costing then undue time to make sure they are complaint and its hard to do. Federal law mandating restrictions above local law is ridiculous. I did like the new boarding back to front, been wondering a long time when airlines would figure that out, but drop all the categories for pre-boadrings, only have one: Special needs, Military and 1st class, one call then back to front, half the plane was onboard before it got efficient.

Le personnel de bord disparaît après le service du repas et ce, pour le restant du vol. Les rideaux séparateurs restent ouverts! Quant au confort des sièges, n’en parlons même pas! Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Last minute gate change at Charles de Gaulle, required me to walk further to alternate gate for my flight to Punta Cana.

L'avion été vieux. l'écran tactile ne fonctionnait pas correctement, le siège était cassé et la connexion des écouteurs était défaillante. L'espacement des jambes en classe économique était correct et l'attention de l'équipage était vraiment bonne. vol correct.

Les sièges situés en queue de l'appareil subissent le bruits des conversations incessantes du personnels naviguants

Valise cabine mise en soute alors qu il y avait de la place dans le portes bagages et que j ai demande de garder ma valise pour avoir une correspondance ferroviaire serree a l aeroport final. Personnel d embarquement extremement desagreable a toulouse.

Good Morning - we were unable to take the flight from Dublin to Reykjavik because it was delayed and we couldn't risk missing out connection to Denver. At the beginning of our trip the flight from Reyykjavik to Dublin was canceled without telling us and we had to get a different airline on that leg as well. . . When we called the airline, they were closed and unable to help. When we called Kayak, i couldn't understand the person and they were unable to help as well! We purchased the insurance for the trip and sure hope that we can get some help from Iceland Air and from Kayak.

Poor selection of movies. Perhaps 30 or 40 movies available and none of them "new" in the last 6 or 12 months. Seat was fairly hard -- tough for 6 hour flight from Reykjavik to Chicago!

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Voordelen: "Seat legroom good & seats fairly comfortable."
Nadelen: "Crew not friendly & I got bumped by a flight attendant 4 different times, including one elbow to the head, & no one ever said sorry or excuse me. No food served & what was offered was expensive ($23 for a baguette sandwich!). Flight departed on time & arrived 20 minutes late with no apparent reason & no announcements on a good weather day. I assume there were headwinds but no one said anything."
Voordelen: "This flight was good, direct to PDX in 8 hours. Inflight entertainment was good and staff pleasant. Boarding was smooth and flight was on time. Luggage all retrieved safely at destination."
Nadelen: "My complaint is with Kayak! We believed we were choosing a flight with first bag checked free, but that was so far from the truth! Each of our two checked bags cost $75 USD, adding a brutal $150 to the cost of our flight! Food was also quite expensive."

Voordelen: "The crew was good. They always are. The entertainment system was better than most, although very limited offerings. TIP: Bring your own headphones, standard 3.5mm phone type jack. They charge if you need to get a pair of theirs. Nice to also have a USB charging port at the seat too."
Nadelen: "KEF airport boarding area very contested (D gates). Standing room only, very little seats. Flight was delayed departing leaving and the crew showed no need to inform or explain to the passengers. Included food non existent. Overpay or an airline sandwich if needed, so just bring your own. But that's to be expected in this era."
Nadelen: "Flight was canceled and I had to find out through twitter, they never called me about it until two hours before my new flight that they had put me on. Couldn't even reach them by phone. The calls would drop each time."
Voordelen: "Friendly, courteous crew. Good selection of free movies.....thank goodness something is free!"
Nadelen: "Half-filled cups of coffee and no seconds. A tiny bag of pretzels or cookies would really be appreciated, since you have to pay for all the other food on the flight. No 'rhyme or reason' to the boarding process, just everyone crowding in to get on board. This could be much more orderly."
Voordelen: "The staff was very pleasant and helpful."
Nadelen: "Airline should provide a free snack such as a small sandwich, a small salad or a pastry. It is not right that during a long flight no free refreshments are offered."
Voordelen: "The Skyr is delicious! The best 3 euros we spent in Europe perhaps."
Nadelen: "Part of the deal is that Icelandair didn't include a meal on our flight from Munich to MSP (transferring in Rejkavik). They do have things you can order from a menu (and those were quite tasty), but just be aware that meals are not included. If this (and asking you to pay for wifi) keeps ticket prices cheaper, it's probably the best situation for everyone. We had a brief delay in Rejkavik."

Very confusing at AMS where I should go, please provide better signage for Iceland Air where check-in resides. Flight was delayed in taking off with no communication for reason why, and my connection was close enough to next flight that I nearly missed the flight. No complimentary snacks offered."

After repeated re-boots the systems would work intermittently. Initial check in to the gate took about 90 minutes."
Nadelen: "Departed overy 2 hours late and missed our connection. Rather than a schedited 1pm arrival in Switzerland, we are to arrive at 9:35pm. We are not happy with our flight or Iceland Air!"
Voordelen: "Friendly staff. Low wait time at passport control compared to other connection points in Europe."
Nadelen: "We were delayed for two hours due to a weather delay from the day before. When we boarded our plane it was cold, and then we had to sit and wait for 45 minutes while we waited for connecting passengers. I would've preferred to be held up inside the terminal a little longer than sit on a cold plane with little communication. No water fountains at KEF"

Nadelen: "shocked to see that no food was served on this long, transatlantic flight! boarding was difficult as there wasn't really a gate area at the airport. there was a massive crowd and lots of confusion."

Nadelen: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."
