Nadelen: "Luggage....it is allowed to charge but they shouldn’t charge. During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."
Nadelen: "Latam could be better if permit that customer can change the sit at check in."
Nadelen: "With the red eye flight, there were limited food options. Probably what happens normally, but it was a third leg of a journey for us an we were hungry!"
Voordelen: "The crew was very friendly! The seat was great!"
Voordelen: "I'm not sure since I slept through most of the 90 minute flight, which is a good sign, I guess. It was an older plane with no entertainment system, but I hate those things, so fine by me. I missed the food this time around, but it was a crappy cold sandwich when I took the same flight a few weeks earlier, but it's a 90 minute flight, so what do you expect?"
Nadelen: "The boarding process was pointless While this is a quirk of the airport, the airline should change their procedure for this scenario. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"
Voordelen: "Excellent airplane"
Voordelen: "Flight was on time; the plane was clean and well-lit - it actually looked new. Entertainment selection was also surprisingly filled with new movies. The headrest was also very comfortable."
Nadelen: "Not necessarily a critique, but I did find it very odd, and non-standard, that the all the overhead bins were closed during boarding. It gave the impression that they were all full, when in fact, they were all empty. Planes should have the overhead compartments all open until everyone is on board so people can see what space is available."
Voordelen: "The food was good"
Voordelen: "Pilot and copilot superb"
Nadelen: "Food and boarding! Using a ladder is outdated!!!"
Nadelen: "Try to avoid LATAM. Actually low cost competition is offering a better service. Latam grew too much and the service is bad. They are making too many mistakes such as not delivering basic information such as where to pick up luggage claim. Honest advice: look for alternatives and avoid big headaches"
Voordelen: "I purchased tickets but there weren't any actual seats available for us on this plane so we got bumped to a later flight (8 hrs later). Our baggage was also delayed getting to us."
Voordelen: "Comfortalble seats with entertainment"
Voordelen: "Everything was great except for the flight was delayed by over 3 hours"
Nadelen: "No delay would have been better"
Nadelen: "They made a mistake at the check in counter and gave my wife someone else’s boarding pass which was for a different flight. As we tried to board the flight, the woman at the gate told us it was the wrong flight and wouldn’t let her on. I showed her our reservation and she refused to help. She kept pushing back and told me the other flight arrives at the same time which wasn’t true. It was an hour later. She had no interest in helping us resolve this issue until I had To get assertive and threaten to file a complaint. I boarded the flight and the flight attendants questioned us why Y wasn’t on the flight. I told them she was stopped. After lots of back and forth the woman at the gate realized the mistake. Y boarded the flight. We didn’t receive an apology for the horrendous treatment of a customer. At this point we had nowhere to store carryon."
Voordelen: "Boarding was easy."
Nadelen: "I actually tried to cancel this flight 5 hours after booking it and was not able to. I wanted to book something before prices changed and was not able to go. When trying to cancel I was hung up or disconnected from 6 times. Each time calling back with 10-15 of wait time. Finally got through and was told it's non refundable. Why kayak even deals with companies like this I have no idea. I finally cancelled and I'm still getting emails aasking how my flight was."
Voordelen: "Said Paulo airport was chaos but flight was great"

Nadelen: "None all great"

Nadelen: "only a sandwich and 1 glass of coke for a four hours flight? And if ask for a beer you has to wait until the end of the services... VERY POOR"
Nadelen: "They cancelled my flight, made no effort to get me home and didn’t reimburse me for my hotel when I had to stay in Iquitos."
Nadelen: "They lost my bag and I had to wait a full day to get it back."
Voordelen: "Que sean transparentes y velen por los usuarios, tranquilamente pueden enviarnos en otro avión o enviarnos en otra aerolinea de otra empresa del grupo"
Nadelen: "La cancelación de mi vuelo"
Nadelen: "We were traveling with 2 children. Seats assigned: rows 15, 18, 32, and 38. Nobody in the crew (from the desk to the plane) was able to solve the problem. We solved it swapping seats with other passengers. We were 4 with 3 carry-on bags. The person who was in charge was very rude. They don't allow us to carry any of them in the cabin and 1 arrived broken. I had no problems like this before, With full flights like this is normal to have to send some luggage that you expect in the cabin to the hold, but in this case the crew was very unclear and rude. The food: it was a short flight and they give us our snack just seconds before the landing. Finally, they lost 1 of our bags. Waiting to see if it appears."

Nadelen: "It is unbelievable that in an international flight they don’t give even a glass of water at least we pay extra for it. The tickets is not cheap at all for receiving so bad service"
Voordelen: "Service on board great people"
Nadelen: "Overbooked flight we had to wait with baby and 4 years old kid till last minute to know if we could get on board or not. Latam wanted us to fly in three different seats we told them that we were happy to flight next day but they pushed till last minute waiting. Nadelen: "Delayed take off due to mixup between crew and passengers... a lot of seat changing before we got cleared for takeoff."
Voordelen: "Excelente disposicion y manejo de situaciones de la tripulación. El vuelo fue excelente"
Nadelen: "El despegue se atrasó unos 20 minutos, no funcionaba el centro de entretenimiento (que fue anunciado) y pese a que eran las 6.3 am no nos convidaton ni una galletita"

Voordelen: "The crew was fabulous! Competent and very helpful, even funny when serving food and drinks! I fly very frequently but this was one of the nicest crews I had in years!"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed leaving Miami and then some more arriving in Bogota. I understand this isnt the airline's fault"
Voordelen: "It was a new plane, the pilot waited for our bags to be put into the plane. Because we made it to the plane after they had loaded everyone. This was due to our late arrival From our Delayed connection from Washington."
Nadelen: "At our arrival a couple had taken our seats. The flight attendant told us to get on any other seat available. We had our family (the three of us ) spread out in the plane. I had to ask another attendant to please ask for our seats back. Finally after a while we got them back but it wasn't a Pleasant experience. They didn't have enough headphones to give everyone. My son and I had to share one headphone. The food was really bad for an international flight, Not even the wine was given without paying for it"
Nadelen: "The plane is ok but it is an old 767"

Voordelen: "Good wine. Check-in was fast and easy. Entertainment was great. The plane was brand new and very clean and the tinted windows were super cool."
Nadelen: "Sort of unorganized boarding. Needed to offer water more often for such a long flight."
Nadelen: "It was delay. 2 hours."
Voordelen: "Gave good snacks"
Nadelen: "Annnouncements weren't clear in English or Spanish only in Portuguese"
Nadelen: "Why offer so much flights to Cusco and then cancel it the night before? Almost give us a heart attack. Had to place an international call to their US office from Lima to find out what our next morning flight will be at 11pm!"
Nadelen: "Gate change was imposible to keep track of unless you walked from gate to gate and made sure you were at the correct one. Almost missed our flight as we were told gate 5 and it was changed to gate 10 in Spanish over the loud speaker but not in Englist and we just made the flight after they closed the door!!!!! Thank goodness they let us on. Need gate board where gate 5-10 is."
Nadelen: "Thwy change my airline at the airport in can cun and nobody recognize me that i supose to flight in lan hand they send me in avianca !! Im soo dissapointed and mad ."
Voordelen: "Entertainment app is really nice which makes the trip enjoyable and cost efficient"
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, entertainment content is rather dated and limited. A bit newer and varied content would be great for this amenity"
Voordelen: "Great flight to Peru from NYC on Latam. Comfortable, clean and service was great. I would fly again on this airline."
Nadelen: "Staff spoke limited English which was a bit of a surprise on a US flight."
