Voordelen: "I travelled on economy delight, flight was fully packed, yet it felt spacious and comfortable. Lightning was great. Food was yummy! And pilots gave us updates on air travel, and if there were any delays etc."

Voordelen: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"
Nadelen: "The only thing I would improve is the main dish in the meal. I loved all the small sides like the Boursin and crackers but I found the main meal a little bland l."

Voordelen: "I thought the airline amenities were excellent and it was a seamless process getting on the flight. The flight attendants were very warm and accommodating. I felt immediately welcome as soon as I got on the flight. I liked that they were playful with my son and engaged him."
Nadelen: "Nothing. We did leave a piece of luggage on the plane so hoping that things turn out okay."

Nadelen: "Incredibly uncomfortable, not enough minimum space to fit my knees behind seat in front when front passenger reclined. 6 hours is too long to have a metal rod sticking straight into your knee caps. Shoulders were squished between other passengers and had to sit twisted the whole way and Im not a large person, but am 6ft. Cabin crew impolite and unhelpful. Food was awful and made my friend sick."

Nadelen: "The check in process and boarding process were very slow. It made going through security a bit stressful and I didn't have much time after going through the security to use the bathrooms or get a quick bite to eat before the plane boarded."

We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

Voordelen: "I loved wine and whiskey. Blanket and blindfolds, headphones helped me sleep. Care packet with toothbrush came in handy."
Nadelen: "The Sears were tight and thin. I felt pushes from behind. I could not recline the seat enough. I didn't get a window seat, which is my favorite."

Nadelen: "After checking in my wife and I were in separate seats. I was then unable to change my seat after check in. After calling the helpline I was informed that it is impossible to change the seat after checking in until I am at the airport. No other airline has such an obscure, in efficient rule. Virgin takes pride in being a step above their competition - I didn't see it. I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

Nadelen: "My bag was not put on the correct flight so I had no bag for 3 days, they were slow in getting my bag to Bali from Sydney. It was really unacceptable. The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

Nadelen: "I do like turkish airlines but wasn’t happy with this flight. On check in we were left with seats towards the back of the aircraft. The lady seated neit to us in the aisle seat was in a wheel chair so was a problem if having to get in and out. I didn’t think it was fair that a person who depends on a wheel chair sits so far back on a plane. She also had to deal with our crying baby"

Nadelen: "Didn't happen. My first leg to Athens was canceled which created a humongous headache since it ended up canceling my return flights. Air Canada had to put me on completely new flights there and back. I think this has taught me to go directly through an airline. Justfly was not helpful. Neither was Turkish airlines."

Nadelen: "I didn’t like the nearly 3 hour delay that caused me to miss my connection, and how poorly that was handled. I just lost one day of my 10-day vacation"

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Flying from Barcelona to get a flight to Boston from Istanbul was a mistake on our part. We saved money but were awake for more than 34 hours"

Nadelen: "This has been a nightmare that is yet to end. After being delayed for two hours out of Rome to Istanbul and missing our connection to Jeddah with hundreds of other stranded passengers from the other flights, Turkish Airlines incompetent handling had us wait in multiple ques for more than five hours only to provide us a hotel for two hours and then shuttle back to a flight 12 hours later! I have yet to hear an explanation from anyone about what happened or a simple sorry for your trouble. This is operational incompetence at full display. Never Again!"

Nadelen: "Our flight was scheduled for 9am and we started from Sarajevo at 12-12:30, therefore we had to run thrue huge part of the Ataturk Istambul Airport in order not to miss our connection flight to Antalya at 16:10. Air condition in the Airplane was also to strong so we could not regulate it alone."

Voordelen: "Window seat, decent selection of movies / shows."
Nadelen: "VERY small seats. Staff not very attentive."

Voordelen: "Delicious food, fantastic entertainment system, power plugs and USB plugs at every seat. The amenities kit everyone gets is fantastic and sure makes the flying experience feel more special."

Nadelen: "I didn't like the multiple, repetitive announcements. I would suggest that once the guest has picked their language preference on the screen, they then only hear announcements once in their preferred language. Also, our first transfer flight with Turkish allowed for us to carry our personal camera, but then on our main connecting flight we were told that we couldn't have it as a carry on. We would have stowed it in checked baggage had we been previously told. This was incredibly frustrating."

Voordelen: "They accommodated my service dog even without being in the system.They are always very nice and look after me perfectly!I was super late for boarding on the way from NYC and they helped me out!"
Nadelen: "I called the Customer service to let them know I have a service dog and she wasn't in the system neither the way to Hungary or back!I had a little trouble because of that!I asked to sit at the isle for the same reason and they gave me a seat and then moved me because they said I cannot sit there with a dog.They wanted to give me a middle seat but fortunately a nice girl swapped with me for the Isle seat!"

Voordelen: "The quality of service on Turkish Airlines is really good. I appreciated the friendly and pleasant attitude of all the flight attendants that I came in contact with during the flight."
Nadelen: "It was such a long trip, a little more than 12 hours and my legs get really stiff after sitting for long periods of time. That is not the fault of the airline, just something I have to deal with after having both knee joints replaced."

Nadelen: "My luggage just disappeared on my second leg to Istanbul. 2 email notifications that luggage was not found. Wrong contact phone number at initial report and was not addressed despite report and upload. Also a representative emailed that luggage was erroneously recorded as "delivered" which is not true. I still don't have my luggage after 14 days. No further responses despite extensive documentation and receipts. This is bad!!!"

Nadelen: "i got lucky and had multiple seats to myself, and it was still tight. i can imagine if i had only one seat i would be in a lot of pain coming off the flight. the bathrooms are very tight too,"

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Voordelen: "I know it has been some time for me to fly but I once did often I think your entertainment way and options were the best I have ever had the privalage to be on, It was great to fly with you."

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

The person in front of me had his chair pushed all the way back, what the hell was the crew member thinking? I still did not move my chair and argued with the female crew. Crew members do not treat everyone equally. I asked for functioning pair of headphones and water, crew members never brought them to me. Responded by saying yes, BUT never brought it to me. I noticed crew members treated children and Turkish passengers first. I'm Chinese and flew Turkish airline- I felt the discrimination. Never traveling with Turkish airlines AGAIN."

Nadelen: "The return flight and it's connection were delayed for over 2 hours because of unspecified reasons. We just sat on the runway with no explanation"

Nadelen: "The boarding process was a nightmare! They boarded everyone at once instead of business class first, ect...gate agents were more interested in playing in cell phones."

Voordelen: "L’accueil et l’aimabilité du personnel qui laisse à désirer. Le confort est vraiment mauvais. Le dinner était vraiment léger."

Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Voordelen: "The flight was not full and without prompting an attendant took a look at my long legs and led me to a row of seats for myself. A simple gesture that was greatly appreciated."

Nadelen: "I travel with an international carry-on designed to fit in comoartments above seats in any and all planes (Tumi alpha 2 International), and yet TAP would claim it was too large to fit and forced me to check it. My problem is not only the wait once we land, but most improtsntly that the bags are beat up in the journey. Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."

Nadelen: "Paying extra for business class so you can sleep just isn't worth it with TAP. We had an older plane, showing its age, and the seats did not go completely flat. So, I kept slipping down and my feet jammed into the seat in front of me."

Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

On me dit qu’il n’est pas sure que je puisse prendre mon vol pourtantl réservé et payé , on fini par m’imprimer Une carte d’ebarquement Sans siège attribue alors que ma valise est partie en soute. On m’invite à passer en zone d’embarquement Au risque d’y Passer la nuit en attendant le vol suivant le lendemain matin. Départ dans le stress et l’incertitude. La faute à qui ? Kayak ? Air Canada ? Brussels Airlines ? Qui surbooke ses vols pour faire toujours plus d’argent. Au prix du billet c’est une Honte !"

Le personnel contractuel n’apporte rien à la situation. Départ pour Montréal/Ottawa en retard. On m’avise que je manque ma correspondance et on me donne des vouchers lorsque je passe le kiosque AC aux correspondances. On dit me changer pour le prochain vol. Je me rends à la porte 25 et on appelle mon nom. On me dit que je suis toujours sur ce vol. Aucun sens. Donc Venise/Ottawaplus de 33 heures. J’y repenserai"
Nadelen: "Voir mon commentaire. personnel nayant aucune empathie. Des indications fausses. Au comptoir des correspondances une employée AC avec pancarte Venise me demande pour quel vol. M’indique de passer au comptoir pour changement car raté. Au comptoir l’employée sans lever les yeux me dit sèchement d’aller ailleurs. Je désire son nom pour me plaindre de la façon dont on s’adresse. La dame à la pancarte me dit je suis là superviseuse c’est mon employée. Rien de plus. Ce n’est certainement pas de ma faute si AC connaît une mauvaise journée"

Nadelen: "Le confort - 9h dans un siege en survolant l'Ocean (tu vois rien) et aucun ecran pour te dire ou t'es, aucun aucun ecran pour divertissment, tu peux louer une tablette à 10$ pour avoir les films et un peu de divertissment. Mais il y aurait aucun probleme si le prix du vol etait à 50% que le vol Lufthansa avec le confort necessaire. Comme j ai dit c'est un low cost à prix normal et je ne trouve pas normal."

Voordelen: "L'embarquement s'est fait de manière rapide et efficace, il n'y a pas eu de délai. Le personnel était très agréable et j'ai particulièrement aimé le fait que les agents de bord était québécois. Après 5 mois en France, je me sentais déjà à la maison juste en attendant leur accent à l'embarquement."

Voordelen: "Ils se sont quand même occupé de nous afin Que nous puissions mettre nos bagages à bord et prendre notre vol...... juste à temps...."

Nadelen: "La distance entre les douanes est impitoyable! Ne perdez pas une SECONDE car vous risquez de manquer votre vol!! J’avaIs une correspondance et mon premier vol a été retardé. Un peu plus et je manquais la correspondance!!!"

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Voordelen: "When I got sick, staff were friendly, helpful and soothing until the arrival of the ambulance. They made me feel much better during a very stressful situation."

Nadelen: "The flight got cancelled way in advance and nobody neither airlines nor webjet.com informed us about it. Also, nobody could replace our tickets for the next day either. So our flight didn't happen and we had to drive to Washington DC to find a flight from there. So we will never buy any tickets from Kayak or Webjet.com! Extremely poor service"

Drink order was incorrect... I just had to pretend I was on crappy public transport for two hours for a one hour journey. I laughed out loud when they announced on flight that Air Canada was voted best North American airline. Riiiiight."
