I ordered the Seafood and it had 3 overcooked shrimp and baked fish. Not tasty at all. The bread was hard as a rock! 3. Boarding was like a cattle call!! Kind of like Southwest Airlines! 4. The Takeoff, Cruise and Landing was NOT bad at all! 5. I guess being an American, it was FOOLISH of me to ask for Ginger Ale on this Egyptian Flight!! 6. When I landed in Cairo, it would have been helpful to know that while going through Customs, I would need to purchase a Egypt Entry Visa fee for $25.00, but since I didn't know that, I waited in line for 20 minutes ONLY to have the Customs agent tell me that I had to go purchase one, then get back I line for ANOTHER 20 minutes!!!!!!! UGGHHHHHH!! 7. I flew on an Airbus that didn't have plug in for your phones to charge (maybe that's just a Boeing thing)."

When I complained to a manager, they let me through security to get on standby for the flight and I was the last one to get on the flight. Their service is awful!!"

No basic amenity kit (like blinds, socks and toothbush) was provided in the flight like Emirates Certain sections of the Abu Dhabi airport are disappointing. Bathrooms in that particular section of the airport were really dirty and broken. Also travelling by bus to the airplane is not desired for such a major airline home airport. I read somewhere that airport is going to go through major renovation in 2019, so I hope it will become as good as Dubai airport"

I was stopped at the gatein Seoul by Asians who refused to board me on the plane because my itenary was incorrect. Will never fly either of these airlines again, and am currently seeking repayment for my unintended 4 day stay in Seoul"

Nadelen: "Etihad overbooked me along with more than a dozen other passengers on a 14-hour international flight. Apparently Etihad decides on who gets left behind. Etihad's "Transit Travelers" service is one of the WORST customer service desks I've ever been to. I waited in line for 2 hours. Passengers were urging to be served so they can make it to their connecting flights not knowing they have been already selected not to board those plains. Voices were raised and demands were made to speak to the supervisor. It was chaos. I made it to the agent shortly after the gate to my flight had opened. I was shocked by how the agent lacked empathy when he informed me I won't make it to the connecting flight because it had been overbooked. Not an apology or even sir! I was forced to be rerouted which stretches my 25-hour trip to 33 hours. Then the connecting flight gets delayed more than an hour resulting in missing the second connecting flight. Now my trip has become a 41-hour trip, I missed a day of work that's worth more than double the value of the voucher Etihad gave me and lost one day of unscheduled vacation. Etihad even damages my bag that had servived more than 10 flights. I will never fly Etihad and strongly recommend against flying with Etihad."

Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

During the flight, the young male cabin crew spent more time sitting and chatting with other young male passengers and not attending to there duties. I will not fight on another Oman Air flight if this is the way you conduct business."

They didnt announce anything and this is the only airline where they serve the food without even checking if you want or not. It was a mid night flight and i was fast asleep after take off. They woke me up and just threw the food on the table and walked off. Another first of its kind is they serve solid food first and followed by drinks so even if you are thirsty, you have to wait. All juice will be served later. and the most uncomfortable old seats. Probably they use different flights for different sectors and to India, they consider every passenger as just "cattle" class and use the worst flight they have. But no other option. There are few direct flights and this is the only choice. So have to fly with them again unfortunately."

Nadelen: "After boarding 3 passengers were made to disembark. This happens for different reasons. But the pilot refused to turn any ventilation. Cost savings? We were left to fan ourselves as the cabin overheated in the hot sun. No civilized airline can showe this sort of disregard for passenger comfort. After being tortured for an hour we finally got off the ground. Sorry, Oman Air, lots of room for improvement. I had a wonderful time in Oman and look forward to returning on Emirates."

I'm from The U.S. and the only airline that actually sticks to their boarding zones (or however they organize boarding) is SouthWest. Everyone else calls the boarding zone and then just takes whoever shows up first. What's the point, then?"

Nadelen: "Once in Abidjan, it became a mess. First we were left waiting for over an hour without any explanation. Then we were told that we had to retrieve our baggage and then recheck them. Hardly anyone spoke English so that was a long and confusing ordeal."

Nadelen: "On connecting from Bangkok to Nairobi passengers are funneled into a security waiting area with no water, coffee, duty free shopping- absolutely nothing but dirty toilets- for a 2+ hour layover. Bole airport is surely one of the most disfunctional airports on the planet."

Nadelen: "The airline never gave us any status updates.Call center was helpless. Eventually bought a same day ticket at 5X the price on another airlines get out. before visa expired. Now they don't want to refund my ticket saying I am a no show..What a horrible airline"

Nadelen: "My flight was only for refugees and was delayed by 8 hours, however airport staff did not have it on their manifest, and Ethiopian never informed me of status. I just sat in the airport all night until I eventually got frustrated and went home. The airline had no idea I was in the airport and no Ethiopian staff were present to speak with. When I and my family called Ethiopian, they hung up on us, at least 6 times. This was my worst experience ever and I will never fly Ethiopian airlines again."
