This wasn’t the first time it’s happened on this flight, either! We were thirsty and no one offered us water. The flight attendants kept skipping my friend and I when they did come around, which was not often. We were extremely thirsty the entire time and when we finally were able to get up to use the bathroom and search for water, we were told to sit back down. We got tiny cups of water about three times on a 10.5 hour flight. Lastly, the entertainment selection was very small and limited."

Staff was great, food was great (two meals), drink options were great from juices, sodas, water, tea, coffee all great. the entertainment was awesome with so many movie/tv show options. and you can always get up and ask for a beverage if you were still thirsty, and plenty of toilets on the plane so rarely a line greater than 1 person."
Nadelen: "They seemed to run out of chicken as the dinner meal, when they got to my the flight to Cairo from NY they also ran out of chicken, the person next to me got the last one, the same thing happened to me on the way to NY, the person next to me got the last chicken, i was kind of upset but the other option of beef was still good."
Nadelen: "One major safety concern, was that the take off safety briefing was still playing as we took off. On the flight back from Cairo the safety briefing first played in Arabic and then English. The English briefing only started once we were already in the air. If there had been an accident on takeoff, someone flying for the first time wouldn't know what to do or how to get out."

This makes the life of the crew so hard as it is not their fault and clearly many people were affected!! Lastly stop using small planes for your Brisbane flights!!!!!!! We pay good money and deserve better. This is not the first time"

Nadelen: "My kids are 14 and 15, traveling as unaccompanied Minors to visit their dad in Kuwait. We chose a Etihad because they would only have to be on 1 plane by themselves. I put them safely on the plane in Chicago, and their Dad flew to Abu Dhabi to meet them when they got off the plane and fly together to Kuwait. On the return flight they fly to Abu Dhabi with no problem. Then, they try to board their connecting flight to Chicago, and they tell my kids they overbooked the flight and they can't travel for at lest 2 more days. If they had to remove someone from the plane, how in the hell do they choose a 14 and 15 year old traveling alone to stay in Abu Dhabi for 2 full days! I'm livid!"

Voordelen: "Despite being a totally full flight, it was comfortable, with prompt food service and good entertainment options."
Nadelen: "- The crew member in our section was great, but two of the other crew were totally over it and were blunt and rude, both to passengers and to the other crew! - Etihad entertainment only available in the air, not gate-to-gate like other carriers such as Virgin Australia. - Rear toilets ran out of paper towels and seat liners in last few hours of flight. - Gluten-free meal options were substandard."

Nadelen: "At the boading, just when we were putting our luggage we were around 5 kg more, in a bad way the turkish lady there asked us to reduce or pay. We reduced the luggage and 2 kg more were left but her and her boss isisted in a rude way to pay or to remove more luggage. We asked her boss to help us in lifting one big bag since we were all girls and couldnt lift it but he refused to help as a gentleman would do and said quick quick put the bag quickly. For sure I wi never chose turkish airline again."

Nadelen: "dozens of infants all screaming and scattered across the whole plane food was strangely not good at all although we had a vegetarian meal pre booked"

Voordelen: "Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."
Nadelen: "I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Nadelen: "First time in my life that the airplane food was cold. There also was no in flight entertainment."
Nadelen: "In Oman airs home airport there was no service desk. When the flight was delayed the sent 1 agent do deal with a full glitch’s worth of guests. Even though the delay was over 6 hours they gave no compensation besides lounge access to a lounge that is not fully functional. The next morning (yes the delay was overnight and they didn’t provide a hotel room) they called us all to the gate only to tell us they still were waiting for the plane to be repaired (the night before they’d Told us the flight would be in time as they’d flown another plane in). Again there was only one Oman air agent and just normal airport staff to handle the full flight. People were yelling and there was a lot of anger but no official announcements were ever made and only rumors passed from those who actually had a chance to talk to the on me guy. Finally when i arrived in Bangkok it seemed like they had there act together as there were many agents on the gangway to assist people to find connecting flights. Being so late there was only on flight for me and several others trying to get to Phuket. An agent took us to immigration and told us all he’d meet us in the other side to take us to the check in. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP. We couldn’t go back in the airport to find him or anyone from Oman air and were left to find an airport employee who graciously helped us find the booking office and just make the flight. I fly internationally regularly and this was by far the worst airline experience I’ve ever had or even heard about."

Nadelen: "Poor quality headphones - jacks are often messed up make sure you have your own. Got food poisoning on Muscat to Paris flight - other than that the food tended to be quite bland. Need to give out more water on flight to combat dehydration as well. Stopping in Muscat's terminal was like a time warp back to a 1970s mall. Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"
Voordelen: "Once i got to my seat i was seated by a smelly person and the flight attendant did move me to another seat upon my request."
Nadelen: "Trying to get on the flight was frustrating because there’s no organization! The thing i did not like was that they made us put the cover to the window up like 30 minutes before landing and the sun was directly in my eyes! I tried to put it down half way and the flight attendant made it a problem."
Voordelen: "Business lounge & airport in Muscat efficient in operation"
Nadelen: "Seats in business were ok but do not offer the position options that most airlines offer in Business."
Nadelen: "Always delay Food is below standard ( taking in consideration the ticket price) Crew depend on your luck some times a very helpful crew and some times it's almost like they have a personal grudge on you"

Voordelen: "I do like few thinks apart from most importance thing such as blanket..! We have asked for blanket at night due to freezing cold the crew has replied sorry the ground staff has forgot to load the blankets to the air craft ."
Nadelen: "Well pilot was very nice experienced.smootj Takeoff and landing.thank you sir!"
Nadelen: "1. Waiting in a closed doors transfer bus w/o AC 15+ min just in front of the plane because it wasn't ready for the passengers. (Unaceptable) 2. Flight attendant unable to pick an organized trashbag politely given to her(unaceptable) ; next time all trash will be left in the seat like all passengers do."
Voordelen: "The aircrafts are good and comfortable, food is acceptable and air crew is curtious"
Nadelen: "The tickets issued to us specified that we were allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage each piece max of 23 Kg. The check in staff refused to accept the baggage allowance as was shown in the ticket . They insisted that the agent issued the ticket wrongly and they will only allow 2 pieces weighing total 30 kg. It was embarrassing as we had brought luggage as per tickets issued. IF THE AGENT APPOINTED BY OMAN AIR HAD ISSUED A WRONG TICKET, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IN THIS CASE IS OMAN AIR. IT WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND OMAN AIR HAS TO COMPENSATE. The entertainment screens did not work for quite some time."
Voordelen: "Okay legroom, a 787 Dreamliner really is an excellent airplane though so it made up for it. Entertainment options were excellent, easily kept me occupied throughout."
Nadelen: "Food wasn't great, but can't complain about the meat or veggie option."

Nadelen: "What airline in 2017 requires you to present your credit card if booked using CC at time of bording, then takes 20 minutes to verify this? Oman air does. In addition, they called me to tell me my flight time changed and so decided to push the flight back one day, so they rebooked me. Then at airport was told i missed my flight...completely maddening and had to throw a fit before they finally booked us on the flight we were told by phone we had yet didnt seem to register in their systems."
Voordelen: "-Muscat airport must have aero-bridge -the crew is apologetic to serve alcoholic beverages-sneaked in wine bottle 15 minutes before descent/touchdown; emirates etihad have no qualms openly and freely serving alcohol in international flights. -leg space is cramped. -did not announce baggage belt -did not inform ambient temperature and other weather details"
