Love the dining cards & choice of meals, and the comfort features ( blankets , pillows , toiletry bag) The entertainment center is also amazing! Perfect for long flights. So many choices & also power usage also great for the passengers on long flights. Also, normally I try not to use the lavatory, they are usually awful, but these make the most of their space, warm water, nice soap,colognes,seat liners."

They also wanted us to board separately, which made my travel partner even more anxious than she already was!"

Nadelen: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

They were very loud, often banging into other passenger's seats, and leaving their stuff in the aisle where people were tripping over things as they walked by. They were really inconsiderate of other passengers - many of whom were trying to sleep on a 13-hour flight. It would have been nice if the crew would have told them to be quieter and more respectful of other passengers."

This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

Aux 2/3 du vol, nous avons eu l’Impression d’être dans un sauna. Atroce ! Alors que d’habitude j’ai toujours froid !"

Nadelen: "1. The plane was hot. In the Middle East they don't turn on the AC whilst on the ground. They only turn it on when in the air?!?! 2. The food was basic! I ordered the Seafood and it had 3 overcooked shrimp and baked fish. Not tasty at all. The bread was hard as a rock! 3. Boarding was like a cattle call!! Kind of like Southwest Airlines! 4. The Takeoff, Cruise and Landing was NOT bad at all! 5. I guess being an American, it was FOOLISH of me to ask for Ginger Ale on this Egyptian Flight!! 6. When I landed in Cairo, it would have been helpful to know that while going through Customs, I would need to purchase a Egypt Entry Visa fee for $25.00, but since I didn't know that, I waited in line for 20 minutes ONLY to have the Customs agent tell me that I had to go purchase one, then get back I line for ANOTHER 20 minutes!!!!!!! UGGHHHHHH!! 7. I flew on an Airbus that didn't have plug in for your phones to charge (maybe that's just a Boeing thing)."

Nadelen: "why for transit we should pick up our bags and recollect it again why not like all other airways to automatic transfereand we get our lagugae at final distrnstion"

Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."

Also passengers do not have to freeze all the flight time. i told them 10 times to reduce the blower and increse the temp. People were getting jackets to cover them as it was very cold. NO NEED FOR SUCH LOW TEMP FO SO LONG TIME very discomforting"

Nadelen: "1. Seat changes are done last minute despite booking the seats online with out informing us. I felt that there was no point securing online seating early. Difficult to adjust seats in the last minute. I was separated from my family. Given wrong information about seats. Had to real work with staff to finally get seats adjusted. Not very easy to work staff. Understanding of English is not that good. 2.Had problems checking the luggage all through despite connection was through star alliance. 3.Had to wait in airport in transit to get boarding passes. Did not understand why it was despite having booked seats early. 4.Seats provided were not good. 5.Also head phones didn't work. I told staff three times and still no response. Finally gave up i had booked because ratings were good. But service was not even close to expectations. Dissapointed."

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. Voordelen: "Mostly punctual. Efficient staff service. Appropriate amount of food and drink served."
Nadelen: "On my journey to Abu Dhabi the flight departure was delayed by an hour. Otherwise it was efficient - and on my return journey. The seating is uncomfortable - lack of leg room. Tv monitors are a little dull so hard to see. Food isn't that nice."

Voordelen: "Loved the entertainment center, movie selections, blanket and neck pillow. The bathroom was large, clean, and cabin staff was good but not passionate."
Nadelen: "The food selection was not that great and everything I had tasted like plastic and microwaved cardboard."

Voordelen: "All was fine."
Nadelen: "While all was fine a the food could have been a little better, especially when it is a 14 hour flight."

Voordelen: "Despite being a totally full flight, it was comfortable, with prompt food service, friendly service and good entertainment options. Gluten-free meal was good quality."
