Never understood going to the trouble of making announcements both pre-boarding & on-board pre-flight, that no one can even make out. That was not an issue here."
Nadelen: "Better lumbar support is always appreciated, adjustable lumbar would be very nice and could make or break an entire flight. No seat on any flight should ever be even the slightest ill repaired. Again, this equipmemt all seemed great. Lastly, since I prefer to always have a water, coke or coffe and or snack in front of me during entire flight, a bit of self serve (grab a water, coffee or snack yourself without having to make staff work a simple task would be nice on every flight. The flight from SEA-DUB was basically great and equipment is always of the utmost importantance."

After runing like chickens with no head a polite customer representative put us through and informed us that our fly was delayed becouse the plane had mechanical issues, so after all that we had to wait 1 hr at the airport and another 1 hr or so to make sure the plane was ready to leave , after that we made it to New York instead of 7 pm we arrived 10 pm , very tired"

Voordelen: "Having had bad experiences with Aer Lingus before, I was hesitant to book with Aer Lingus again. But sadly, I was booking this flight last minute and had no other option. The route was Dublin to Calgary, via Toronto. I left myself plenty of time im Toronto to clear customs as I know it can take a while. The day of, the flight ended up being 1.5 hours longer than usual due to headwinds, leaving me with only 2.5 hours in Toronto. I ended up waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for my bag and missing my connecting flight (my sister who was also on the same flight received hers in 30 mins and made the flight). Westjet was wonderful and put me on a later flight but Aer Lingus didn't have any assistance for me."
Nadelen: "Aer Lingus lost my sister's luggage going to Ireland and never contacted my sister once the luggage was found. She only received it the day we flew back to Calgary. Poor customer service when inquiring about the bag, no compensation for necessities purchased."

We did not realize you need a doctor’s note in order to fly! The first girl, Ajla, was sweet and just doing her job as she explained to us that we needed the note. My husband and I were upset, but she remained calm and kept a smile on her face. She got her supervisor, Ismail, to help us with our situation. We were able to resolve our problem with his help and check into our flight. Sean P helped us check into our flight and got us all situated. Ismail was amazing and upgraded our seats AND escorted us through security to make sure we would get to our flight with extra time to relax before we boarded! After our rocky start at check in Ismail made everything all better!! I highly recommend this Aer Lingus team at Logan International Airport!"

Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."

Voordelen: "For an economy flight it was pretty good. The aircraft was safe and clean. The crew was very attentive and courteous. The food offered was not more than a snack at fairly reasonable cost. I would recommend eating before the trip. The departure was right on time and our arrival was a little early. Our luggage was handled properly and arrived on time with our follow-on flight to Paris."

Nadelen: "My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it."

Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

I suppose if they explained more, other fliers would find the explanation too verbose. I can live with it. Again this is about all flights and airlines. Nothing stands out, such as, " this awful thing happened when we left San Francisco.""

His partner at the other podium watched him quizzically, as did I, as he paced left and right, looking at nothing then sat back down again and stared at nothing. All the while the line for screening grew smaller and smaller. The other agent asked him, "what are you doing?" He responded by saying, "You said you were getting THEM all." I didn't understand, but clearly there was some subtext that I was not privy to. She shook her head and said, come up here sweetie. Then she managed to do what he obviously couldn't do: his job. Then my girlfriend and I proceeded to be profiled and had our bags searched. If I didn't have to be in OKC I would avoid that airport like the plague. Unprofessional."
