Les repas n’étaient pas très bons
Le transfert de dossier entre Delta et Air France qui affrétait l'avion n'avait pas été réalisé. Nous n'avions pas de billets pour le vol retour. Le personnel Air France à l'enregistrement nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec le service assistance Delta Américain pour le transfert de notre dossier, alors que j'ai des enfants en bas âge… Finalement, quelqu'un a accepté de s'occuper de nous, et après une heure de négociation, il est parvenu à nous avoir des billets d'avion. C'était une expérience très désagréable. Je ferai attention pour mon prochain voyage à acheter mes billets d'avion autrement
Nous avons fait la queue pour l’embarquement pendant de longues minutes. Au moment de passer, on nous dit que nos passeports doivent être vérifiés. Obligation de suivre une autre queue. L’hôtesse nous demande notre test Covid alors qu’il n’y en n’a pas besoin pour revenir en France. Une fois les passeports vérifiés, on nous demande de retourner à la fin de la première queue…donc très long !

Amélioration: le check in sur ordinateur deux jours avant qui prendr trop de temps et ne fonctionnait pas. (Près de 4 heures dd mon temps ! Entre les essais multiples et amples téléphoniques) make it simpler.

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée
Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,
Mauvaise gestion du retard et de l’embarquement. Repas minuscule qui donne la nausée. Personnel de bord qui parle super fort y compris quand 75% du vol dort…. J’étais très mal installé, même dans une low cost j’étais mieux, assez déçue

Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance.

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

The cabin was extremely warm, and there was no way to control the temperature at the seat. I got sick.
The legroom on this flight in coach was incredible. Service was outstanding. Everything was on time. SAS was a great experience.
I missed two connections because the flights were late. I was given a substitute itinerary that had more layovers in different cities, one of which was Oslo, which is quite possibly the worst airport I’ve ever experienced. I arrived to my destination 3 hours later than expected, which made my taxi ride to my hotel more expensive because of traffic. And then to top it all off, they misplaced my luggage. And as I watch it move through their system because of an AirTag placed in my suitcase, it’s quite clear that they are in no hurry to get it to my hotel.
I never flew with SAS before and got to fly all the way from the US and I loved it !!
The staff between IAD and Copenhagen was not friendly
Kayak offered terrible service, and was unwilling to come up with better alternatives to fix their mistake. Don't choose KAYAK, if the airline cancels the flight, KAYAK only makes effort to avoid any accountability.

The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."

Nadelen: "This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

Nadelen: "This was a connecting flight that was swapped to go to Newark instead of DC due to unforeseeable delays in DC. Not bad in and of itself but they only gave me a few hours notice that my flight was changed (email sent at 1 AM on a 7 AM flight) and I lost my already paid for upgrade to premium economy. They couldn't find any record of me having purchased an upgrade when I went to check in on my 5+ hour flight."

We tried to upgrade when we arrived at Oslo and again in Stockholm but the personnel at both stations were rude and not helpful. UGH."

All people could really hear was "boarding now", which created a bit of a rush of everyone. It would be helpful if there were an SAS representative to stand next to the line, to physically say to people, 'Okay, we are now only doing priority boarding. If you are priority boarding, please stand her. After that, if you are business class, please stand here. Everyone else, please wait, but know that we will start to board from the back of the plane. Thank you." This will to help guide people BEFORE the ticket check."

Also, for two and a half hours we were delayed (while sitting on the plane after pushing back and then returning to the gate) due to something wrong with the plane. Along with being unnerving, it caused nearly everyone on the flight to miss their comnecting flight."
Notre fils est très grand et la procédure d'enregistrement des places n'est pas toujours facile pour obtenir un siège adéquat quand on voyage en économique .
Notre valise n'est pas arrivée à Brest. Elle est partie à Biarritz. Nous l'attendons. Cordialement

We were traveling with a baby and they put us in separate seats when we had booked the seats together, we actually paid for 3 seats but due to an emergency the 3rd person couldn’t come. During the booking the American Airlines agents were unprofessional and rude to us. They made our first flight with our new born really stressful. At least the flying attendants during flight made it up and were caring, Proffessional and over the top to make sure we were comfortable. I bad story with a happy ending.

Kayak was terrible, I was told that I got 1 free checked bag, but when I got to the check-in counter I was told otherwise and had to pay for my checked bag!!!!
Very small plane, not much legroom. No organisation to boarding and no in-flight snacks provided as standard apart from water/juice.

Nadelen: "Our flight got delayed so American Airlines Auto switched us to a flight leaving a day later with a 17 hour layover. When I called to get it fixed I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I got through. Once we got on original flight they gave away seats we paid extra for and gave us no refund."

The checkout charged me $60 to check a bag, when I looked on my reservation it says it’s $55 and when I called customer service they said they charge $100 to check 1 bag less than 20kg for an international flight"

Voordelen: "Plenty of leg room, and I got an empty seat next to me! Food was served on time (an hour into the flight, and about two hours from the destination). The options were decent particularly the caserole in terms of portions. Plenty of overheard compartment space, even with a nearly full flight."
Nadelen: "The arm rest between seats doesn't raise to the full upright position, only one-half way. The TV needed to be reset by the purser due to it being stuck on kiddie mode. If you're a snacker, bring food."

Nadelen: "Flight from dublin was delayed about an hour. Flight from Helsinki to Chicago was delayed almost 5 hours and all they gave us were 8 euro in vouchers which isn't even enough to eat at the airport. Communication on delays was poor and staff was not helpful."
Nadelen: "Sellling snacks during the flight (to a captive clientele) makes the process noticibly less pleasant than in the days when Finnair (generously) provided snacks to everyone."
Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"
Voordelen: "Liked this flight had exit row with lots of leg room for my 6'6' husband. As we requested"
Nadelen: "I ended up sitting in the last row although arrived at the airport early, but was placed on standby."
Voordelen: "Very nice crew, Economy Premium seats had enough legroom, not a bad choice of movies on the flight"
Nadelen: "Worst food I ever had on a plane (frequent traveler), I would be afraid to feed it to my dog, let alone eat it myself. Barely ate anything, spent most of my flight very hungry. Refused to eat breakfast at all, it was that bad! Please do something about it, it is outrageous to give people garbage like that."
Voordelen: "Food was provided when the flight was delayed for 2 1/2 hours. I also really liked the text update from kayak about the delay. The airline did not keep me updated but kayak did."
Nadelen: "The delay when it was already a 6 hour flight. I also was not able to reserve a seat because I had booked through kayak and not with the airline. Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."
Voordelen: "That I made it safely to my destination. Updates from the cockpit were appreciated. Plane was nearly empty, so I was able to stretch out over severa seats."
Nadelen: "I haven't heard good things about American Airlines, and now I know why. Probably the oldest plane in the fleet. Entertainment was 2-3 fold down screens from the ceiling. I can't remember the last time I flew on a transatlantic fight with no entertainment- nearly 20 years ago I'm sure. Airplane food is never great, but food options were worse than normal. American Airlines customer service at JFK was horrendous, resulting in several passengers missing their flight. (I was there if 4 hours to spare, but had to wait 1hr+ to have my birthdate changed in the system.)"
Voordelen: "The crew was very much professionals, worked fast."

Nadelen: "Twice I was passed up and overlooked for food and drink when they were being provided to all. The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

Voordelen: "I booked the seats with extra room - really glad I did. The food wasn't bad, the entertainment system worked. I definitely prefer the Virgin Atlantic entertainment system, but I fly AA fairly often and will continue to."
Nadelen: "The airport check-in was absolutely terrible. We were in line so long that an employee came up to us and said "I can't believe you're still here." Neither could I. We get to the airport at least three hours early because of stuff like this, but the incredibly slow line and unorganized way of handling it ate any of the time I'd looked so forward spending at Heathrow (I love hitting Boots etc)."

It would have been nice to know that option was available or required."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed 1.5 hours due to an unexplained "maintenance issue." A friend of mine who had paid extra to get an exit row with extra leg room was inexplicably moved to a normal seat, and was only upgraded when she complained. I was moved from a window seat to an exit row without explanation, unfortunately, this was an exit row where a life raft was attached to the door, leaving me even less leg room than a normal seat would have."
Nadelen: "Not even a bag of peanuts on a 8 hour flight? That's a little silly when I got a snack on a 45 minute flight earlier."

Nadelen: "You had to purchase food for the 7 hour flight I had from Seattle to Reykjavík. I was hoping for a complimentary meal since it was a long flight."

Nadelen: "Iceland Air did not pick up our baggage from the transfer area in Seattle. Ultimately spent three days in Paris without our luggage. Poor communication from Iceland Air regarding the whereabouts of our baggage. Bad experience!!!"

Nadelen: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."
Voordelen: "For an economy flight it was pretty good. The aircraft was safe and clean. The crew was very attentive and courteous. The food offered was not more than a snack at fairly reasonable cost. I would recommend eating before the trip. The departure was right on time and our arrival was a little early. Our luggage was handled properly and arrived on time with our follow-on flight to Paris."
Nadelen: "For the price paid,, i really don't have anything against the trip."
Voordelen: "I LOVED that they gave us a little bottle of Icelandic water when we boarded. That is my favorite water!"

Voordelen: "My seat was actually not too uncomfortable. I had travelled on Iceland air a few years ago and thought the seats were pretty tight and uncomfortable. This was better."
Nadelen: "Minimal beverages. Must bring your own snacks as they are only for purchase."
Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful staff, and a very smooth ride. They had a lot of movies for in flight entertainment as well- I recommend the Iceland air documentaries!"
Nadelen: "No free in flight food, however there were lovely options to purchase!"

Nadelen: "There was no way to reserve seats for the flight. I made our reservations eight months in advance and there was no way via kayak or Icelandair to choose seats. When we tried calling the airline, they told us we needed to call back 36 hours before the flight. When we called 36 hours before the flight they told us all of the seats were alr day taken and we needed to speak to the agent when we checked in. When we were given seat assignments at checkin and asked why we'd had no input into the seat selection, they said we should have called in advance. It was really frustrating, especially because we ended up in th back of the plane. I was in a middle seat, winch don't have any space for a bag under the seats in front of them. Then there were no meals served on the overnight flight. I bought a small salad for 12 euros. I have never in my life taken an overnight flight where they don't serve at least dinner, if not both dinner and breakfast. The flight was on time and the attendants were friendly, but I wasn't terribly impressed otherwise."

Nadelen: "No free food, not even peanuts, on a seven hour transatlantic flight. Never been on that cheep an airline befor, and the airfare was not that inexpensive. Will do more checking around next time."
Voordelen: "Nothing. Except for the blankets. First time I have ever flown with Iceland air. Also the last time. I will never again fly with Iceland air. I know what to expect on my return flight. No food. Outdated movies. Terrible audio sound from the video console. Just a really awful flight. I will be sure to tell everyone I know never to fly with them."
Nadelen: "People pay over a thousand dollars to fly with iceair. Stop being so cheap and frugal with not serving complimentary meals on a flight longer than 6 hours. Requiring people to pay $12 more for a hot meal is ridiculous."

Nadelen: "It was the first international flight I've ever been on where no meals were included in the price, so it was a disappointment that we were not given any complimentary meals or snacks, especially for such a long flight through dinner time."

Nadelen: "The flight had two legs and both were delayed. The first, granted, was out of Icelandair control because the president was flying into SeaTac. However there were a lot of delays in Reykjavik. First it took a long time for the bus to reach the waiting area where there were no seats for people to sit. Then the flight itself was delayed because they were waiting for another plane with connecting passengers from New York. There was a lot of sitting on the tarmac and we were delayed getting to our final destination. This is also the first transatlantic flight I have taken with any Airline where there was not at least one complimentary meal on board. Apparently they are reserving that now only for economy Comfort class and up."

Voordelen: "They gave a complimentary meal to my child immediately after take-off."
Nadelen: "Lost my luggage-- no customer service to recover my luggage. No reimbursement for days without luggage. The flight was insanely hot. It was simply not worth saving a hundred or two hundred bucks to fly this airline and I've never felt that way about a flight."
