Les fauteuils beaucoup trop étroit, pour une personne musclé. Aussi n'on les hôtesses on était formidable avec nous ,encore un grand merci

Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.

Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.

Un enregistrement compliqué comme à l aller. Un passager n'avait pas d attribution du e ticket par la compagnie. Pas de check in en ligne possible . Personnel un peu désorganisé

Voordelen: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"
Nadelen: "The only thing I would improve is the main dish in the meal. I loved all the small sides like the Boursin and crackers but I found the main meal a little bland l."
Nadelen: "I did not like the fact that my seat was between 2 small children that belonged to a family sitting behind me .It was ridiculous to put a stranger on a 10 hour flight with a 3yrar old on one side and a 5 year old on the other"

Nadelen: "Arrived 1:10 min begore departure. Customer service reps quoted me with No Show. When asked they have no courtesy to answer. Both the rep over the phone and the rep at the airport were horrible. Did I say I was traveling business class? You could imagine the economy"

Nadelen: "We were waiting in our seats for about an hour before take off due to a need to de-ice the plane due to snowy weather. I think everyone would have been more comfortable in the waiting area while this happened, or at least given the option to do so."

Nadelen: "The complimentary headset breaks easily. Tray table was broken and they can't fix it. Very small bathrooms, knees almost touch the door when sitting down. Food selection for dinner ran out quickly, resulting in only 2 choices and one is hot spicy, so basically only one choice. All beverages are given out in small cups, even water is given out in small cups increments (finish in one gulp), they don't even give out small bottles of water. No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."

Nadelen: "The seats!!!! Omg I got bed sores. Not really but they have got to be the most uncomfortable things I have ever sat in. For a European flight from Uk they'd be fine. But for 9 hours...not good. The short hop down from ATL to MCO after was a blessed relief. Virgin, you have got to think a little more about your passengers asses. Also, having flown with just about every major transatlantic operator, including previous trips with Virgin, the knee room was not good. If you stretched out under the seat in front you were ok but draw your knees up... I wore short trousers for comfort and have sore points on my knees where they rubbed against the material of the chair in front."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

I would never have selected this fare had I known we would end up spending an extra $800 for checking bags! Iceland air is clean and efficient but all you were given is a Dixie cup size of a drink"

Nadelen: "No menu. Couldn’t order food. No help from crew regarding how to order food. Crew was not friendly and gave very unwelcoming atmosphere. Very bad vibe. Baggage was lost and had a difficult time trying to find the right counter. Icelandic air counter was clear on opposite side of airport with the departure gates. Several people had missing bags. Service agents were busy talking to each other and the line was getting pretty long. Have no idea where the bag is and it’s been six and a half hours. Not having your bags is a very big deal. Will not recommend nor will ever fly with this airline again."

Nadelen: "We will not fly Icelandic Air again. The baggage fees were incredible - $95 per bag to go from Boston and $110 per bag to fly home. That is over $400 in bag fees. This with practically no service, no snacks - we did get water and soft drinks and a ground crew in Iceland that does not communicate about boarding. There was no system to get people on the plane and no communication You expect a baggage fee but it should be well communicated. We looked up the fee online and saw an economy bag listed. What they do not list is that there are different economy baggage fees. The lower price you pay the higher the fee. Again I don't mind a fee - I just should be able to find that fee before I commit. Very deceptive advertising. I could have booked a flight with an airline for the same price and gotten better service, a few snack and airline miles."
Voordelen: "See above for a list of all the snafus. What happened was not reasonable and there are problems to be fixed for another time. However the last flight was comfortable and uneventful once I got on the plane."

Voordelen: "Avion neuf, confortable et silencieux. Nous sommes partis en retard mais sommes arrivés « presque » à l’heure prėvue."
Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Nadelen: "The transfer in Rekyavik was horrendous and in Helsinki moderately okay"

Voordelen: "Entertainment selection was very impressive. Very good customer service after our bags were delayed by the plane sliding off the runway. They were super accommodating of my travel plans and delivered my bags to me three hours away from the airport."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants were extremely rude. They also were very conflicting with their directions for the exit row seats. One attendant would situate you and your belongings and then the next would come and make you move everything and this happened more than once before taking off. The attendants were also giving away seats that people had tickets for and forcing a lot of people to move seats more than once. They also would not take trash more than the one time about an hour after the drinks service, so slow drinkers were forced to keep all their trash for the entire flight and ending up leaving it in the seats because no one is going to take their trash off the plane with them when they had asked the flight attendants to take it during the flight and were refused. Also for a 7 hour flight, at least offering pretzels would be polite. The plane slid off the runway upon arrival and then we had to wait 2 hours for a ground crew to come with stairs and a bus to unload us. Communication to the customers was extremely poor during this time, we had almost no idea what was happening, and with where our bags were, we waited in the airport for an hour before they announced that they wouldn’t be unloading our bags for another few hours."

Nadelen: "My flight got delayed then cancelled. Got told that I got booked for a flight in a different terminal. Ran to that terminal, and I got told there was booking information but no ticket. Had to run back to the old terminal where I waited in line at customer service for over 3 hours. Got told there was no longer record of me scheduling a flight back to NY. Eventually got rebooked by Alyzia for the following day."

Nadelen: "Seats are way to close together, not leaving any leg room. The aisle seats have narrower than normal room under the seat in front. The middle seats have a large plastic piece under the seat, which takes away about half the height. Also the non-aisle arm rests do not lift up."

Nadelen: "Food choices are very limited on flights to The US. The prices are based on the Icelandic economy...very, very expensive. I recommend buying food at the airport and take it on or later. Some planes are older and not as comfortable but there is no way to know ahead of time. The USB port does not charge your device and there is no electrical plug even though it is advertised. After a flight they fold the blankets and reuse the pillows....yuck!"
Voordelen: "The lights were off from start to finish so we could sleep the entire way. No unnecessary announcements to annoy. Loved there was a pillow and blanket on all the seats and water as you boarded. I didn’t not eat or drink, so no comments there."

Nadelen: "It took a ridiculous amount of time (like an hour) for the plane to board once people started filing on. Terminal was already crowded to the point of shoulder to shoulder standing-room-only. Shuffling at a snails pace with three exhausted kids and all of our carry on stuff was not cool."

Nadelen: "The seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever travelled in - this plane definitely has the worst seat width, leg & reclining space that I have seen. I have been in long-range (16 hours) flights that were more comfortable than this. If anything fell on the floor, I couldn't retrieve, I couldn't sleep at all & had contorted joints & a body ache when we landed. To design such tiny seats is truly inhumane."

Nadelen: "The passenger in front of me reclined so far, he was basically on my lap. It made it difficult to see the screen and eat dinner, which was subpar. The person behind me kept poking me in the back. I couldn't figure out how or why. I could've used more arm rest as both people on either side of me took the arm rest. So basically I was surrounded on all sides by inconsiderate people, who were probably as cramped as I was."

Voordelen: "The Chief Purser came over to apologize. At the end of the flight, the Captain came to me to apologize on behalf of the airline. (Too little, way too late.)"
Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"

Nadelen: "Poor entertainment system and choice. Some parts of the main cabin were dirty. As an asthmatic, I tend to be quite sensitive to dust etc. The age of the plane. Some of the flight attendants seemed not as friendly on request of some, not all, service."

Le vol en lui-même s'est bien passé. En revanche, l'obtention du boarding pass et les formalités à remplir en ligne ont été une vraie galère (et à faire en double exemplaire, en plus (American Airlines + Kayak)).

Annulation sans proposition de solution

Parce que AA a mal fait son planning , pas de pilote . Il a fallu attendre un pilote puis un co pilote. On a décollé avec 1h40 de retard

Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Voordelen: "The flight attendant was fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful, checking on all the passengers. He even loaned his phone charger to one passenger. It was a full flight and he was working hard, but had a smile on his face the entire time. Give him a raise!"
Nadelen: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."
