Nadelen: "I was never notified that there was no 1:45pm flight. Had I not gotten to the airport early I would not have made the flight to Chicago.at 12:25pm. I was originally scheduled to to to Munich but the flight was to Frankfurt. The plane arrived early so I had to make different plans for someone to pick me up Very disappointed in lack of communication"

Nadelen: "Delay of 45 minutes made me almost miss my connecting flight."

Voordelen: "Overall, the main leg to Frankfurt was fine for entertainment and boarding; the staff was pleasant; but, the seats on all legs were ridiculously tight, and the planes were packed like sardines. I was stuck on window seats on 2 of 3 legs, despite requesting window seats, and the comfort on all legs was terrible. In future, I will take advantage of an upgrade offer from the Airline."
Nadelen: "Read previous comments on likes. In summary, the flight was too full, and the service for my seating was OK. That is it... OK."

Nadelen: "We were 24 hours late for departure without warning. We only found it out at airport. Air attendant didn't take customer's complain seriously. When we asked if there were a choice for food. Answer was YES - to eat or not to eat."

Nadelen: "Passenger behind me was kicking my seat. I called on flight attendant to resolve situation and they could not care less to resolve issue.instead asked me to move.my 6 year old son who was flying with me was terrified of the man that was kicking my seat."

I haven't flown on many non-U.S. airlines, but when it comes to cabin service, Lufthansa blows away any U.S. airline I've flown on, including long overseas flights!"

Nadelen: "Staff was rude at the terminals and a lot of frowning faces on the plane. My seat was constantly bumped by crew with no acknowledgement. The boarding was confusing and disorganized to the point the boarding agent was not sure which gate handled which group ( they use 2 for these big planes)and kept calling out the wrong information. Passengers could not believe it. Tight seats for an overseas flight."

The following baggages having the bagage tags: LH 093506 and LH 093492 did not arrive at final destination Montreal YUL! Please investigate ASAP and get back to us! I've spent upon arriving at home two hours on the phone and customer service representatives from YUL were totally not helpful in solving the problem!"

Nadelen: "We are regularly taking this flight for end of the year snd in summer. For no reasons whatever if it is in France or in Vienna, the flight is delayed of minimum 2 hours! It was the case once more the case. And all without communication as it is normal! And it looks like this is normal as the flight from yesterday was also leaving at 19h05. This is a joke."

Nadelen: "small seats,no LCD for each one,food nor so good."

Nadelen: "Hand luggage not allowed onboard due to being just a bit oversized -- just its wheels only. Never had this problem with the same luggage with other airlines, only with Austrian."

Nadelen: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

Voordelen: "This is always a pleasant airline to travel with."
Nadelen: "I felt like the airlines deliberately cheated me. I purchased a flight that was listed as "economy" , which means I am authorized one suitcase. When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

Nadelen: "Boarding process was not easy to hear and it was unclear where the line for our gate ended and the line for the gate right next to ours began"

Nadelen: "L’aéroport de Vienne qui ne dispose d’aucune aide pour les transferts : il faut trouver les panneaux bien cachés dans un labyrinthe... et 2 contrôles des bagages durant le transfert alors que nous arrivions d’un vol international."

Nadelen: "Seats are very small. Plane was cramped. Snack was not very good. Need healthy options."

Voordelen: "The Swiss Air staff provided water and nice sandwiches for us while we stood in line for hours and put us up in a very nice hotel for the night."
Nadelen: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Nadelen: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Neither the agents at the gate nor at the transfer desk were willing to help me get to Manchester. Never fly EW again."

Nadelen: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

Nadelen: "Delayed with no information. Boarding bit chaotic and once on board no food left to buy as everything has been sold out. Despite me being in row 1 and the first customer to be served. Plane arrived at low cost Barcelona terminal and we had to wait quite long for our luggage. Eurowings race to the bottom."

Nadelen: "Delayed twice, no explanation. Full flight then had to board through one door, with no separation of seat numbers. Truly amateur. Euro Wings food choices certainly didn't appeal."

Voordelen: "Attendants and counter staff all super friendly, seats were comfortable with decent leg room, nice beverage and snack offerings."
Nadelen: "Nothing of note."

Nadelen: "Another delayed Eurowings flight to Stuttgart with no information provided."

Nadelen: "Delayed, causing me to miss all other flights."

Nadelen: "Eurowings operated by Sun Express? I did not know what airline was flying me to Seattle."

Voordelen: "Staff at the airport (ticket counter and check-in) were very polite."
Nadelen: "The flight ran two hours late. They notified me via an email in German (I don't even speak German, and I made my reservation on the English site, so I would think they would send me notifications in English as well.) I missed my connection in Dusseldorf because of the delay, but was able to rebook for free at the ticket counter and they gave me a €10 voucher for dinner as well."

Voordelen: "I received a little meal. Pleasant manner of staff."

Nadelen: "Flight members were very rude, one didn't smile once. She also yelled at me when I was standing in an empty row stretching and waiting for the bathroom. She told me I was not allowed to stand up, even though I was in no one's way and we we're free to move about the cabin. Horribly rude during drink and food service as well."

Voordelen: "We missed this flight, so there was really nothing to like. However, the lady at the Swiss help desk was extremely kind and helpful in finding us an alternate flight."
Nadelen: "When I booked the itinerary clearly stated that this would be a Swiss Air flight. We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Voordelen: "Only good thing about flight was it is cheap"
Nadelen: "Button of my travel bag was broken during transfer of luggage by airlines.no leg space in flight."

Nadelen: "EW lost my suitcase in transit in Duesseldorf. Suitcase arrived in Berlin on next flight but then didn't get delivered until 24+ hours later. Hard to reach both EW and delivery service. Due to the delay and further travel plans the next day, I had to buy new clothes in Berlin to have something to wear."

Voordelen: "Check in was easy, employee was pleasant."

Nadelen: "Boarding setup was small and a lot of waiting due to multiple flights being boarded at same gate..."

Voordelen: "Not a good experience"
Nadelen: "1st delayed over 2'niurs. Missed connection. Next flight cancelled. Finally departed but also late. It was an all day/night ordeal to get from Berlin to Geneva."
