Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Voordelen: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

All understandable until the announced that the flight was reinstated only to be followed by an hour of the clerks unable to put people back on the flight which caused it to be cancelled. Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"

Voordelen: "The flight to and from Los Angeles was operated by British Airways and was on one of their Airbus fleet. Boarding was completed efficiently and with ease. I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."

Nadelen: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

Voordelen: "I booked the seats with extra room - really glad I did. The food wasn't bad, the entertainment system worked. I definitely prefer the Virgin Atlantic entertainment system, but I fly AA fairly often and will continue to."
Nadelen: "The airport check-in was absolutely terrible. We were in line so long that an employee came up to us and said "I can't believe you're still here." Neither could I. We get to the airport at least three hours early because of stuff like this, but the incredibly slow line and unorganized way of handling it ate any of the time I'd looked so forward spending at Heathrow (I love hitting Boots etc)."

Nadelen: "This flight was operated by BA. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. When the guy in front of me reclined his head was practically in my lap. TV's were crappy and the in-flight selection was mediocre. In flights announcements were very loud through headphones."

Voordelen: "The energy of the crew was upbeat despite the lock of enertainment they tried their best by accommodating my various wishes."
Nadelen: "They were no snacks available except the ones that we had to pay for - which in fact I thought was a bit pretentious towards the passengers."

Nadelen: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."

Nadelen: "When I arrived to board my flight I was highly unsatisfied with the excessive charges I received for my luggage that was overweight (only by 7 pounds). I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."

Voordelen: "Nice flight, plane was new so that was great. I was traveling alone and got upgraded to Premium Economy. Lovely!"

Nadelen: "Food wasn't very good"

Nadelen: "Main course of chicken and rice was clearly on the small size for a 10+ hour flight. The chicken was in some vague sweet and sour sauce. It was a good thing that I had bought sandwiches before boarding. Return flight LHR to LAX was on BA and the main course of chicken and mashed potatoes was substantially larger and tastier."

Voordelen: "The boarding process was expedient and the food was ok and standard for these flights."
Nadelen: "I travel at least 1 week a month either to Europe, South America or across the United States. The Airplaine was extremely old and looked like it was not refurbished at all since the 90's. Unlike basically every other airline (including airlines from the developing world) the plane did not have a personal entertainment system which is rather vexing considering the flight is so long. The decoration of the plane looked old and worn. The crew were more interested in getting the job done quickly than properly."

Nadelen: "Audio sockets had "scratchy" sound quality, no matter which headphones were employed Touch screens were very unresponsive and viewing listings was infuriatingly slow - I would prefer to use a simple list without pics"

When you are on a 8 + hour flight. People want their own screen with their own options. Been on many flights to and from Eruope , this was the only flight that was set up like this. Change it"

Nadelen: "Seating now so cramped it's becoming dangerous."

Voordelen: "Window seat. Nobody sat next to me. Good food. Free entertainment and drinks. Large plane. Plug socket. Usb socket. Free headphones and toothbrush. Enough hand luggage space for everyone's bag."
Nadelen: "Good was good. However I have an allergy to soy and there were soybeans in the prawn salad with no ingredients list no notification of such. I ate some too and didn't have my epi pen with me. Very scary!"

Nadelen: "Outdated entertainment system. Furthermore, little selection of movies to see--for instance, the "international" movie selection included only two episodes of Foyles War and nothing else. Is this a joke?"

Voordelen: "A Good Deal,but when.we arrived in Miami there was not any finner counter,when to BA anf6 then we found the flight"

Nadelen: "One crew member was extremely curt to myself and fellow passengers, not telling us to put down viewer, just slamming it away. Could have said something, been pleasant."

Nadelen: "God bless Finnait."

Voordelen: "Food was pretty good and they had lots of movies to cho0se from on individual screens.."
Nadelen: "Group boarding was all screwed up...Group 1 should be seated near the back of the plane and group 4 near the front. iberia got it backwards. Also general boarding shouldn't start until after all the wheel chair passengers have been seated... 50 people waited in the boarding tube outside the plane's door for 15-20 minutes, apparently for the handicapped folks ahead of us to be seated."

Voordelen: "Old aircraft, tight seating space, below average food and to add to the misery below average service. Expectations from an US based airline is low, but this was one of the worst. Unlikely to travel on AA again."
Nadelen: "Pretty much nothing good to write about. Service, staff, food, condition of the airplane were all below par. Don't see american airlines competing with other airlines."

Nadelen: "I fly frequently and never have I had such an awful experience. My 7 hr, nonstop flight took 22 hrs, staff were incredibly rude and non communicative. I sat on an airport floor 5hrs after I waited 2 hrs for a nonexistant cot. I received $19 for food in NYC and some frequent flyer points for an 11 hr airport delay (doesn't count the additional 2 on the Tarmac). Whoopee... They can have them back because I will not fly American Airlines again."

Voordelen: "Timing is good"

Voordelen: "The only thing that saved the flight was a good crew and decent food."
Nadelen: "My husband uses a wheel chair and a delightful attendant wheeled him and about 20 other passengers to a very well equipped handicap area. There we all stayed until finally we demanded that we be taken to our flight which was supposed to leave in about 10 minutes. When we boarded the plane all the other passengers were already there and I was the last one on. All the overhead bins were taken and I had to put my carry-on under the seat which left me with almost no leg room. By the time we arrived in SFO my thighs and back hurt so much that I was worried maybe I would require medical attention. Which fortunately was not the case. It was luck that I had a bag that would actually fit under the seat."

Nadelen: "Rerouted without consultaton - added an extra leg to my trip including a necessary mad dash to catch the make-up flight."

Voordelen: "Door sneeuwval vertraging bij de start waardoor vervolgvlucht niet gehaald. Bij landing bleek omvorming al geregeld te zijn"

Voordelen: "The food and entertainment on board is great. I was very pleased with how they organized the checking of bags and the fact I picked it up at my final destination without any issues and right on time."
Nadelen: "Some of the staff at the check in desks can be very rude. Also, on my initial flight, they closed the check-in early and left many of us stranded without knowing who to talk to and how to manage to get on the plane. When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Voordelen: "Nice interior and good IFE on long haul."
Nadelen: "I did not like the flight from Malaga to Stockholm due to not having IFE or WiFi on a 4+ hour flight. Absolutely unacceptable in today’s travel market."

Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord a été très agréable et professionnel. L'embarquement à Stockholm est très bien fait et il n'y a pas de perte de temps."
Nadelen: "Par contre, c'est une seule boisson par personne le reste est payant, les repas sont très moyens et le système de divertissement est très très mauvais. Les contenus sont vieux et l'application est très lente et pa réactive du tout."

Nadelen: "I had requested an aisle seat and on both flights to and from Stockholm and Chicago had to sit on the very last row in the middle seat between 2 people who seemed to exceed the "weight allowance" that seem so important now when you flight unless you spend a lot a money on the ticket and it then becomes irrelevant !!"

Voordelen: "Entertainment options"
Nadelen: "Super hot throughout flight. Had a 9 hour layover and the flight arrived after the gates closed so the only options for 12am-5am were wooden benches in random sketchy areas. Had to wait in line to wait to get in line to finally board the plane The food was two rolls ups three hours apart"

Voordelen: "food was delicious and I liked that they give everyone a full bottle of water at the start of the flight; plane was new and updated"
Nadelen: "Boarding was awkward and just a giant mass of people funneling in; tv show options only had 1-3 episodes and not entire seasons"

Voordelen: "Liked 2+4+2 seating"
Nadelen: "When passengers in front of us kept their seats reclined the entire trip, couldn't move, difficult to get in or out of seats. Had to ask flight attendants to ask them to raise seats, at least during meal service. Food was worst of any international flight we've been on and we fly internationally several times a year. Very poor selection of movies and map was not working this flight."

Nadelen: "On time, efficient, friendly staff"

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats and attentive crew!"
Nadelen: "Old movies not up to date."

Nadelen: "Crew was rude. The bathrooms became disgusting halfway thru the foight w no toilet paper. For 6 hours we were down to one bathroom in coach. Unacceptable. My daughter never got her final meal and the flight attendant was rude when I asked her about it and never returned w food. Never fly SAS"

Voordelen: "On time...and the staff was great"

Nadelen: "Being served two versions of a ham and cheese wrap in a row. Variety would have been nice."

Nadelen: "Didn't like that I had to order vegetarian food option in advance. I would forget to do so before the flight. Despite that, I was still able to eat most of the meal since there was salad, bread and dessert which was filling enough."

Voordelen: "The boarding was more organized than our other flights with this airline. Cabin crew was friendly."
Nadelen: "The food was not so good. It looked like they were really trying to cut corners with very small portions."

Voordelen: "The plane was neat, clean and well maintained. The food was very good. The crew was professional and friendly. Based on my experience this is a top-notch airline."

Nadelen: "I did not like my flight because ... I could not take it! I needed to change only one date (return) and was quoted $1300 for that one change. Getting a completely new ticket was cheaper, but not cheap. With such cost of even minor changes, next time I will look into booking directly with airlines, instead of Kayak; sorry to say that, as I really liked using your service."

Nadelen: "No priority check boarding for business class in Compenhagen"

Voordelen: "Courteous staff, great food, CLEAN airplane, spacious seats. Zero complaints and WAY better than any domestic airlines (United, Delta, American) based on personal experience!"

Nadelen: "Terrible service and they lost my sons car seat. Ruining my whole vacation here since we can't drive anywhere."

Nadelen: "Boarding... the first 20 or so rows were called then "All remaining passengers..." causing considerable pushing, etc. MUST board by sections, etc..."

Voordelen: "The crew was knowledgeable, gracious and helpful for the entire flight. I enjoyed the mapping and camera feature of the plane. The selection of options for entertainment was a delight."
Nadelen: "How do you say to close for comfort but then one gets what one pays for and the economics are understandable yet I did not care for the cramped space provided."

Nadelen: "Unfriendly and rude desk help. Rude and insulting. United was a real disappointment. I will ask my travel agent to be in touch re screw up the economy plus seats. I had to pay extra for what our itinerant said had been booked. Mary, at the desk at C12 in Delles, she wouldn't give me her last name was unbelievably insulting and unhelpful."

Voordelen: "Nice crew"
Nadelen: "The flight is very noise they never turn off the lights and close the windows so it's very hard to try to sleep."

Voordelen: "The plane was new, great seats and staff"
Nadelen: "Delayed flights, microphone is too fuzzy, hard to understand. Also why couldn't we get 2 or more sodas.. Crazy! The Asian airlines beat you! Very expensive stuff like a small red bottle of wine was like almost $15! Nuts... Very disappointed.. It should be free for the money we pay! Also staff just let people leave their windows open which was crazy coz most passengers are tired from other trips and of course in Europe you can hardly see anyone letting the elderly and children have any first priority boarding or let alone line up. I had my disabled husband and a young active little grandchild... Cathay Pacific, PAL,KAL, CAL are great about priority boarding for the elderly and children. Its sad your company do not have compassion or empathy for families with little children and the elderly population.. They really suffer!"

Voordelen: "I wish there were more snacks during flight."

Nadelen: "Not enough room to work on laptop."

Voordelen: "Lots of movie to chose from. Chicken Curry was tasty."
Nadelen: "The person in front of me put the seat back so far that I had almost no room to get up—then glared at me when I had to pull on the seat back to get out."

Voordelen: "Crew"
Nadelen: "We boarded late. There was no boarding announcement. A guy walked up in front , as to wait for the announcement and she waved him up. The rest of the gate just started forming several lines. Very unorganized. The we sat on the plane for about a half hour. At least there was an announcement that two people were missing so they had to remove their luggage. 40 minutes late into Longyearbyen."

Voordelen: "The biz class seat and bed"
Nadelen: "The olives in the salad."

Nadelen: "Late take- off and landing. Indifferent flight attendants. Two of my children were bullied into giving up their bulkhead seats to a couple with a child. We had to pay extra for those seats and we were given no compensation."

Voordelen: "The airplane and individual tv screens were great, more choices of recent movies would be better. Cabin crew was nice and flight was smooth throughout. Even with a 2 hour delay the captain was able to make up 1 hour in our 10 our flight."
Nadelen: "Requested water and flight attendant infromed me to go to the back and get it myself. When I did go to the back, both were on their mobile phones. Would hope to have water go around more frequently instead of me having to go to the back and get it myself, especially on a long flight."

Voordelen: "Good leg room in economy class (window/isle seats), comfortable throughout the 11 hour flight."
Nadelen: "Meals were okay. I'm use to free food/snacks/drinks on international economy class flights, so was a bit surprised that only the two meals were included in the price of the ticket (one meal a complete meal, the second a mini meal)."

Voordelen: "Crew was very sweet."
Nadelen: "The entertainment was out of date so there were no on demand movies which is not okay for that long of a flight"

Nadelen: "Pay for wine and beer during intl. flight? Really?"

Nadelen: "Some passengers arrive late 1 hour from transfer flight, but meantime plane crew started relocating existing passengers to different seats without checking if the seat is available, and that created chaos."

Nadelen: "We left Chicago at 7:58 pm instead of 4:35 pm, they got us on the airplane and than we just sat there for 3 hrs till finally we were able to take off. No explanation was offered for the delay"

Voordelen: "All in all, the seats had more legroom than I expected for economy. Much more than American airlines (AA, United, Delta). Love the direct flight as it saves so much time."
Nadelen: "This was the 4th flight I have taken between LAX and Warsaw...but was the first time that there were no beer nor wine available in between meal services. On a 12-13 hour flight, this was a definite disappointment compared to my other experiences on LOT. The other concern was there were only two meals, and no snack service on a very long flight. This again stood out in contrast to the previous flights I have taken on LOT."

Voordelen: "Business Class on LOT Flight No. 21 from Warsaw to Los Angeles is excellent! The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a beautiful plane and the Business Class seats are very comfortable. The food was pretty good and the flight attendants were extremely nice!"
Nadelen: "There was a two and a half hour delay for technical problems for our flight from Warsaw to Los Angeles on Tuesday July 24, 2018. There had been a two-hour delay for my flight in from Warsaw to Moscow, also for technical problems, on Friday July 13, 2018. Obviously, LOT needs to insure its planes are safe, but it needs to do so sufficiently in advance of take-off so that its passengers are not inconvenienced by lengthy delays."

Voordelen: "Unexpectedly our luggage was still dispatched on time to our final destination dispite the delay and short time in Warsaw airport."
Nadelen: "The absence of clear communication on the duration of the delay or its reason and this despite the fact all passengers had been boarded on time."

Voordelen: "Good"

Voordelen: "Not much."
Nadelen: "This is about as budget as you can get. Entertainment systems didn’t work, drinks were warm. Food was mediocre. Bathroom doors didn’t work, and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up while using it! Yuck! Had to shuttle EVERYWHERE between flights, before and after. Crew was not attentive, and not so friendly either. Only good note was the young lady who checked our bags in Warsaw and helped get our seats together (after the airline messed the seat assignment up in the first place). Ugh. Worst airline I’ve been on."

Nadelen: "Extremely cramped seats, late and almost didn't make connection, buses back and forth the whole way, jerky drivers."

Voordelen: "Friendliness"

Voordelen: "Flight on time... arrived on time.... food was great...."

Voordelen: "In Frankfurt it went through Lufthansa and the extra suitcase costed me $40 more as I’ve been told on the LOT website. Paid €107 where the web page of lot said $75"
Nadelen: "After check in luggage I had to wait one hour to take care of the luggage price so I get my tickets. All this should have been do e before without going to different counter. Also I didn’t liked that I had to check in on the automated machine."

Voordelen: "Agréablement surprise qu'ils aient pris le risque de retarder le vol WAW - KRK pour attendre des passagers, même si du coup nous sommes arrivés quelques minutes plus tard que prévu à destination."

Voordelen: "Du personnel navigant très agréable et à l'écoute. Et un bon point supplémentaire pour le repas (;"

Voordelen: "I was boarded very professionally. I have a heart condition that requires medication. I explained this to the gate agent to request assistance in boarding and they complied with my request."
Nadelen: "LOT is not an airline that impressed me in any way. When I flew from Los Angeles to Warsaw, my bag was weighed, and I was told it was over limit. This, in spite of the fact that I weighed this bag on a calibrated scale prior to entering the airport, and my luggage was 5 pounds BELOW the limit. This seemed a blatant attempt to gain additional money from me, because I know the bag was not overweight. The food selections were average at best. Leaving Warsaw traveling to Los Angeles, we left almost an hour past our original scheduled departure do to the need to obtain additional supplies. On my next trip to Europe, I will look for alternate flight providers."

Voordelen: "Without any note all passengers were required to pay for their baggage, same price either it was 10 or 20 kg. Nobody send any information before about this extra payment!"
Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Voordelen: "There was not much to be liked"
Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled, rebooked next day, economy instead of business, booked on different airline, poor communication,"

Voordelen: "Ground crew did a good job rescheduling and arranging hotel"
Nadelen: "The flight was cancelled"

Voordelen: "I had paid extra to get an exit row seat, and that was nice as I had extra leg room. And no one next to me. Since it was a very early morning flight, I didnt care about entertainment. Check in was okay."
Nadelen: "Nothing seems to be free anymore; I really didnt like having to pay for a 2nd bag on an international flight, since so many airlines do allow you 2 checked bags for free, even in economy. Having to pay for the 2nd bag and anything besides a coke seems cheap, really cheap to me and makes me not to use LOT for long haul flights."
