On m'a promis de trouver une solution pour qu'à la fin la personne ne vienne même pas me dire en face qu'il n'y avait pas de solution. On m'a simplement dit que le vol est complet et que j'aurais du penser à cela avant... Pas très professionnel !"

Nadelen: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Nadelen: "I didn't have a long enough layover in Chicago and ended up missing my next flight. At least an hour and a half should be allotted going through customs in O'Hare. Then an additional 2 hours to recheck bags and get across the airport. This also allows extra time for delays."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

Nadelen: "Made me go through security twice, 2nd time was right before boarding. Reason: randomly selected. And, they lost my luggage. No valid explanation given. Apparently, will get delivered on next day’s flight. A disappointing experience."

Voordelen: "The hotel was nice although I was unable to sleep due to the delays all around concerning my connecting flight. I am thoroughly upset because I contacted the airlines 3 times in May to express my concern with the 30mins layover. And to no avail. My worst concerns are being played out now. It appears that their isn’t any concern from the airlines about this catastrophe impacting so many people. Shame on you."
Nadelen: "The connecting flight departed before the first flight landed. Then I was given the wrong information of gate departure by airport personnel. After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

I've spent upon arriving at home two hours on the phone and customer service representatives from YUL were totally not helpful in solving the problem!"

We were late from Vienna but Lufthansa held the plane and extra 30 minutes in Frankfurt so that the baggage could make it from the feeder flights and it still didn't. We were promissed out luggage on Sunday evening. No one called and as of Monday morning no news."

Voordelen: "Service was great, the stewardess's were very professional and very caring without being too personal which is great for me .Every was done quickly and professionally with a great sense of efficiency and purpose .Hard to explain but so different from other airlines . Multimedia was phenomenal"
Nadelen: "Food portions were smallish but acceptable .Seat reservation service got totally mixed up ,reserved one seat and got another .Maybe software glitch ,needs to be fixed."

Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."

Nadelen: "1. No toiletries were available for business class even on this flight. 2. There was no food choice especially if you prefer vegetarian. 3. Even if One presses a button to request for some water, no one comes to the seat; this habit of BA continues for the good part of the last decade. Reminded me why I stopped flying BA! 4. No wifi even in Business class! Someone in senior management of BA needs to fly SQ, Cathay, Qatar, Emirates and learn what can be improved. Most of these airlines have better service in economy than business on BA!"

Nadelen: "A 30-year old 767. Broken headrests on seats. Late departure with no rationale offered. Usual (by now) pathetic fare ordered as food and beverages at a cost. Surly aervice. All at a premium price."

Voordelen: "Taking off, flight, & landing were ok."
Nadelen: "Delayed flight Weight limit of 23kgs. made us carry too much carry-on luggage. Entertainment was really poor compared with Emirates. The flight attendant with the long hair serving Economy Class was not friendly. In fact, He was almost shouting at the passengers especially two ladies wearing hijab. With all honest, BA is not the same airline that it used to be."

Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Nadelen: "3 hour delay, no communication with customers regarding delay or connection. Once we finally arrived st Heathrow for the 2nd leg of our journey, we were put on a later connection, no apologies whatsoever from any of the employees. Overall we spent over 4 hours in the air. We were never served even a glass of water or a bag of pretzels. The seats were very tight with very little leg room, and I am only a 5'6" female."

Voordelen: "Boarding was good and flight was on time. Crew were polite and attentive. Food was okay too."
Nadelen: "No leg room and as usual I had an uncomfortable 6 hours with my legs jammed against the seat in front. Having spent $900 on the flights I am not going to pay another $81 for the 'upgrade'. Also, even as a slim person, the seats are crammed together so we all knock elbows and I am disappointed that all the airlines continue to reduce space. Arrival at Logan, Boston was a nightmare...2 hours to get through passport control, customs and baggage pick up. Don't fly into Boston at 9pm Saturday night! I flew outbound with AerLingus and the leg room was better so I will look to fly with them next time."

Voordelen: "Honestly nothing"
Nadelen: "The whole flight was disastrous and we Are old gold card holders"

Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Voordelen: "The flight was short."
Nadelen: "The card machine kept declining my cards for a bag of crisps. Seriously! Money was available on all cards. Got to the airport and purchased crisps and tea with no issue. Flight attendants were nice, but aloof."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Voordelen: "Al parts of flight expertly handled by staff, especially cabin people. Thanks for a great flight, VA."

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Nadelen: "The seats on this British Airways flight were so tight and pitched forward that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and I felt as if I was being launched forward the entire flight. Not comfortable or safe."

Voordelen: "I wish the menu can be more kid friendly. I enjoy the food no my kiddos"

Voordelen: "I've boarded flight half this size in twice the amount of time it took to board this Airbus A388. I enjoyed sitting on the upper deck. It was a night flight to London from DC, so I closed my eyes straight away, and didn't partake in any of the meal or entertainment options available. Flight crew was very nice and personable."

Voordelen: "Everything was good on this flight. The staff were excellent, very professional, and were very helpful. When they heard about our plight at LHR Term. 5 when connecting to this flight, they were very considerate and offered to send in a report (still waiting for the result of this, no contact yet 6 days later). Again, the luggage space and lie-flat seats (Club World) and meals (except my gluten-free meal) were very good, as was entertainment and cleanliness of the plane and lavs. This flight was supposed to be delayed by two hours, but in the end, they managed to take off at the originally scheduled time. More good news: the flight was smooth and arrived on time and most importantly, safely. Luggage arrived quickly and in good condition on the carousel. BA is really good!"
Nadelen: "Lavs: Lavs were clean, which is always good, but there was no red/green availability lights on this aircraft, those would be helpful."

Voordelen: "The crew were friendly & made us feel welcomed"

Nadelen: "Not getting the meal I prepaid for and the curtain of business class constantly hitting me it was not good."

Nadelen: "The worst flight I have ever had. I am tall and this large plane was fit only for dwarfs. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and I could not move during the 3.5 hour duration. As a result of this experience I will NEVER fly air canada again. From now on it's whatever airline can treat it's customers with dignity."

Nadelen: "The train at Chicago airport was broken. I walked to get the next gate to the other terminal."

Voordelen: "I appreciated having my seat changed and arriving to my destination safely."
Nadelen: "The fact that there is NO bottled water on the flight and only "tap" water from a plastic jug. As a kosher consumer, I was unable to drink the water from a kosher perspective and I never drink tap water anyway! I found the staff to be less than friendly until the flight was over. Our flight was cancelled and we had a longer wait for the next flight. I missed an evening appointment due to this cancellation. I never understand why the back of the plane doesn't board first, other than first class."

Nadelen: "serious delays and the staff were not very friendly. Weren't willing to go above and beyond for travellers that had been sitting in airports all day! Probably one of the poorest crews i have encountered on Air Canada."

Nadelen: "t took the crew 3 hrs on the tarmac to figure out the plane was unsafe to fly!"

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very nice and helpful. When they passed out dinner my husband and I were asleep, we woke up when they were serving drinks (right after). They got us our food. On our flight over however we didn't get options on food since they had run out. The flight crew was nice though."
Nadelen: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."

Voordelen: "on time, courteous and helpful flight attendants. Good food in the right amounts."
Nadelen: "never easy to sleep properly, but was able to rest and sleep enough."

Nadelen: "Was late and crow Did not care abut passangers"

Voordelen: "No built in entertainment systems. YES PLEASE. Built entertainment systems take up room, sometimes have screens that can't be turned off, and some generate a lot of heat. So glad they were removed. The built in streaming service is a much better solution. Crew was fine."
Nadelen: "Seats are just ridiculously close. This makes boarding take longer. I don't think emergency evacuation is feasible. Have seats this close been tested for evacuations? Knees-touching-the-seat-in-front close. Taller people can't sit with legs straight in front. Eat before your flight."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Quick boarding, staff friendly and helpful. Flight attendants ensured those with connecting flights deplaned quickly when we arrived at the gate in Montreal."

Nadelen: "This review is about Air Canada from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Our flight was cancelled the flight for technical reason, without a notice. We found out when we got to the airport with four children. We were put on a later flight that also left Los Angeles later than the scheduled time. We arrived to Vancouver so late that we could not make the latest BC Ferry to Victoria that left at 9:00 pm. We lost our hotel reservation in Victoria. We were stranded in Vancouver till we could find a hotel that cost us an extra $600 (US dollars), an extra reservation for the ferry and lost a precious half a day of our vacation. When we complained about this wasted time and money Air Canada did not utter not even a clear simple apology. It offered a lousy discount on our next flight with the company, believing that we may ever use such an uncaring company"

Nadelen: "For couples traveling in business Air Canada's seating is designed to de-couple by placing barriers between seats . They need to try Emerites to check out how a pod should work Entertainment is limited"

Voordelen: "We flew premium economy, and it was so much better than regular economy. Seating just two across made my wife's and my journey much easier. The crew was attentive when they needed to be, and the food was quite good. I managed to sleep several hours, which is about as good as it gets on a long haul flight."
Nadelen: "I was surprised at the selections available for movies and TV; not much that was appealing. Took a Singapore air flight a few days later and felt like the selections were better. But we brought an iPad and had downloaded House of Cards, so we were OK. Besides, I got to sleep."

Voordelen: "I flew roundtrip to Japan on Air Canada business class. Buying a ticket late, I noticed it was only $500 or so more for business class. We did have to touchdown in Canada coming and going, but short and efficient hops. On the way back, it probably saved time because we were cleared in Canada so arriving back in Philly was like a domestic flight. Great Food and service. The trip to Japan on their new Dreamliner business class featured an amazingly designed pod - super comfortable, lay flat for sleeping, But has good layout and table space if I had wanted to work on laptop. Thumbs up!"

Nadelen: "Didn't accept my carry-on that was always accepted before with all airlines.At least from Mtl to Quebec,i would have been able to do it.I will reconsider travelling with A C ???"

Nadelen: "Never again"

Voordelen: "Not anyone's fault --- delayed due to Fog. Then on rout to Ottawa when they started selling food, they ran out of the main breakfast meals and or cheese plates by isle 19."

Voordelen: "Boarding was quick, service was quick."
Nadelen: "Seats were not comfortable, very tight space since plane was so small. I'd never flown international before so when they handed out the immigration forms without any explanation, I was very confused."

Voordelen: "The smiling and helpful crew members"

Voordelen: "One flight attendant in particular stood out to me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant the whole flight. Flying is not always the easiest experience, especially during a 12 hour journey. Her positive attitiude definitely made it more bearable. Excellent customer service!"
Nadelen: "Certain members of crew did not offer the best flying experience. Ranged from being rude and curt with customers, and not being friendly and accommodating - need an attitude adjustment."

Nadelen: "Being blasted through my headphones by the captains announcements indifferent cabin crew. How poorly boarding was managed by AC. There was absolutely no effort made to enhance a boring flight with food or drink unless you paid for it.I guess AC does not consider it an international flight from the US to CA and visa versa which saves them a lot of money and works only in their favor. Why I,m even bothering to fill this in."

Nadelen: "A new 150$ bottle of perfume was stolen from my checked in luggage."

Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Voordelen: "I had leg room where I was seated. Short flight."
Nadelen: "I had to be moved a second time during my travel. No entertainment. So far, the most uncomfortable connection Ive had in my trip. The emergency door i was sitting next to was leaking water, which kinda worried me."

Voordelen: "No real positives"
Nadelen: "Bag check a mess, late departure, so, so food and service."

Voordelen: "I had an open seat next to me; the flight wasn't full, so I was able to stretch out more comfortably. The crew was very nice, too."
Nadelen: "I didn't realize I needed the app to access entertainment, and I had no way to download it when I got to the plane. I saw that a leg of my journey was on Rouge, and assumed it would be a shorter leg, not the longest. It was disappointing."

Voordelen: "The person next to me was moved...so I had the whole row to myself. It was comfortable!"
Nadelen: "No food was served other than snacks for purchase."

Voordelen: "Air canada gave me a meal voucher since the hotel restaurant was closed before my 6:30am flight (hotel was due to a delay from MUC-YUL flight)."
Nadelen: "My 6:30am flight was cancelled just as we were about to board. No big announcement, and more importantly, no repeated announcements. I stood in line to get the details about my new flight only to be told to go to a the air canada customer service desk to arrange for that. The line I was in was for people with connections and no checked baggage. Again, then was no loud or repeated announcement for this, so I wasted more time. I arrived home 12 hours later than my original schedule."

Nadelen: "The food was not fantastic."

Voordelen: "Friendly staff and movies for children"

Voordelen: "The crew were extremely friendly and the flight was on time."
Nadelen: "I wasn't offered a meal preference, and was disappointed they couldn't accommodate me with a vegetarian meal. I also didn't enjoy the fact that the plane didn't have an integrated entertainment system, and that you have to pay extra to receive a tablet to watch movies..."
