Nadelen: "The airline lost my bag, with contained all my clothes, shoes, jewelry, ps4 gaming concel, and all the games CDs I had , alongside the documents I needed to renew my Visa, which was such an inconvenience getting back, that I had to extend my ticket by a week which also cost me almost $400. Plus the airline staff was rude. That ruined my vacation."

The entertainment system kept dropping playback, (crashing) so I would have to restart playing the video. Something similar happened on another Turkish flight."

Voordelen: "Great food and service. Turkish Airlines has always had a good reputation as we flew with them for years and that hasn't changed. My only one peeve was that I was asked by the flight to sit next to an unaccompanied minor in case of energency. Being a mother. I thought, no problem. The child then became my responsibility on a ten hour flight. Boundaries were crossed when it graduated from assistance to responsibility byt little one could do mid air."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very acccomodating. The movie choices were great, which is very important while on a 12 hour flight. They handed everyone a warm, wet wash cloth before dinner was passed. Everyone also received a package that included a pair of slippers, lip balm, tooth brush and tooth paste. We hadn't received anything like this on any of our other flights. These were small jesters that make you feel great!"

Nadelen: "They told us to observe the 4 groups mentioned on our boarding passes, then there was only one entry... From buses to plane, instead of separating people into buses according to seating, they mixed them all up, hence people who had seats up front were entering the rear of the plane and vice-versa, causing incredible congestion and confusion when boarding, people along the center aisles going both ways and trying to pass while loaded with hand baggage, quite ridiculous indeed."

Voordelen: "The flight itself wasn't bad, we got a meal on each flight and the crew was charming."
Nadelen: "I had a trip with one connection, from Tel Aviv to Milan. The flight from Tel Aviv was delayed, which coused the connection flight to be delayed. Also, and most importantly, they've left my luggage in Istanbul (where the connection was from), so that I was left with no proper clothes/essentials for four (!) days (and it was colder than expected in Italy)."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Voordelen: "Crew was very nice though took very long to clear after meal. I love flying with Turkish Airlines on my business trips I guess August is not the best time .."
Nadelen: "Flight was very full yet boarding was done with bus not a walk trough gate Screaming children and loud parents made the short fligh literally a nightmare. This is not in the airline control unfortunately yet impacted badly on my flight experience."

Nadelen: "Our bag arrived without the walking poles attached to it. So far (more than a week after the flight) we haven't heard from Turkish Airlines anything about our complaint regarding this loss of baggage."

Nadelen: "I was thrown into despair by the refusal of TA officials to help me in any way. I paid the full price of the flight but the officials of the airline were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I was delayed to the airport due to traffic and they refused to help me in any way. I have flown with this airline in the past and the airline was always kind and accommodating, but not so this time! I lost $1.1K for the initial fare and then had to purchase a separate $2.3K ticket to reach my destination. Absolutely NO other airline has been so dismissive to me. I fly United all the time, and they are worst by US standards, and yet (I never thought I would say this) United has always helped MUCH better than this airline! I called customer service and could barely understand their English, not to mention that they didn't care at all to help me. I lost $3.3K because of this airline. It was the worst travel nightmare of my life, and I have been to 50+ countries!"

Also I had to pay 30 dollars to go get the next flight at 18:59hrs , which was extremely inconvenient."

Nadelen: "CRJ200 planes are always a bit cramped, and having to gate check anything bigger than a small purse is an inconvenience. Hopefully the fleet will change over to the Embrair planes soon. Beware 'Basic' flyers (cheap tickets): you are not eligible to take an earlier flight even if available."

Nadelen: "Crew could have proactively provided more water. I was really thirsty mid-flight and had to stand up and ask for water myself."

Nadelen: "Change my seat when I was boarding. I already had my seat # assigned before boarding. Sat next to a man with a strong body odor. I came down with a sore throat last night so I was feeling pretty bad. Then to endure a long flight with that smell which made my trip very uncomfortable."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "We had an almost 5 hour flight delay! Got to Los Angeles after 1am and hotel, after having to go through customs, after 2 am!! Bus ride from plane to terminal once landed is extremely long."

Nadelen: "Les sièges business devrait être un petit peu plus large au niveau des épaules en position lit. Mes épaules touchées des 2 côtes. Aussi prévoit un petit peu plis de place au niveau des pieds aussi en position lit."

I always make every effort to get an aisle seat, and I don’t know how I ended up where I did. I asked to be switched,and the flight attendant found a middle seat further back in the plane, which I appreciated. Other people have told me of similar experiences where they did not get the seat they were expecting on Aeromexico. Voordelen: "I liked that Aeromexico offers a direct flight from my city to CDMX."
Nadelen: "I'm fairly tall, so I spend the extra for Economy+ for a few extra inches of leg room. It's still not adequate, but it's better than nothing. However, the seats on Aeromexico's E+ are more uncomfortable than any other E+ seats I've sat it. Truly awful to sit in for even a short period of time. Also, the planes are not clean. There was a half eaten lollipop stuck to the floor in front of my seat on our outbound flight, and on our return flight there was some sort of dried spill (I HOPE it was a spill, and not some sort of bodily fluid) on the wall under the window. If you want your drink to be cold you need to ask for ice - otherwise expect room temperature water/soda/juice, and only a tiny cup of it - there are no full cans of soda here. This wasn't a huge deal to me, but on our return flight I was quite parched and never could quench my thirst with the little amount of water I was given. All this said, I'd probably still suffer through a direct Aeromexico flight than deal with a layover on another airline."

Voordelen: "A long story short, I had to check my carry-on bag in order to get sealed duty free liquor through the Mexico city airport. I was able to eventually get the bag checked gratis due to the circumstances. It took half a dozen AeroMexico staff to get there, but I did."

Nadelen: "C’est la première fois que nous prenons Iberia et nous avons été très déçus. Personnel extrêmement désagréable. Première fois que je vois tout un équipage aussi peu professionnel, indélicat et qui ne passe pas en dehors des repas. Le repas a été servi et le débarrassage 5 min après. Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Nadelen: "They charged us for two aisle seats, and then reassigned one of us to a middle seat with no notice. With advance notice, they were unable to provide a meal that would not contain bell peppers, to which I am allergic. On the plane, both meal options contained bell peppers. Surprisingly, the ingredient lists were not available to flight attendants or passengers, and we were only aware of their presence because of seeing them, or having my allergic reaction (which I did) after avoiding the visible ones. The passenger in front of me put his seat in full recline for the entire 10 hour flight, including about 30 minutes when the seat was unoccupied. This put his seat about six inches in front of my chin and made it impossible for me to view the entertainment screen. It also made it difficult to get into and out of my seat. Several of the toilets had clear fluid covering the floor. I did not want to know is this was water or something else. Although our connecting flight in Miami went from gate E21 to gate E30, it took two hours (and 3,000 steps per FitBit) to get there because of being required to claim our luggage, leave security, recheck the bags, and then re-enter security. Our tickets did not provide for TSA-PRE despite having provided our known traveler number in advance. Many notices and directions were only available in Spanish. As they are based in a Spanish speaking country, this is perfectly reasonable, but their services are marketed to English speaking countries and it was a problem for me as a predominantly English-only speaker."

Finalement, on embarque et apres avoir attendu 30 min, on nous désembarque parce que l'Avion n'était pas prêt, l'équipe d'entretien n'était pas disponible! finalement, on rembarque pour de bon mais on a attendu un autre 30 min sans nous dire pourquoi. L'équipage fait comme si tout était normal mais on voit par la fenêtre qu'il y un camion de service qui essait de réparer de quoi derrière l'avion. On nous fait embarquer alors que rien n'est prêt. La personne qui s'occupait des baggages a pris 20 minutes apres notre embarquement avant de s'amener. C'était extrêment désorganisé."
