Voordelen: "The flight was SO OLD and uncomfortable which is absolutely ridiculous for a 16 hour flight. My screen did not work the entire time despite asking flight attendants to fix the issue. The flight attendant would not attend to me despite me pressing the button and twice skipped me while giving out meals. I had to call them back and ask for it. The bathrooms were SO dirty and yet no flight attendant took out the trash or cleaned it even though we are in the midst of a pandemic. We were also not given hygiene kits to keep ourselves safe. DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE."

The bread was not gluten free on this meal so I couldn't eat it. Unlike the first leg of my journey this meal didn't have my name or seat number on. I feel like it was put together once I asked where my meal was. Snacks offered but not gluten free so was very hungry from previous flight."

"Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance."

Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Voordelen: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Nadelen: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Nadelen: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Voordelen: "NOTHING"
Nadelen: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Voordelen: "Check in was simple and efficient, boarding was easy, leg space was sufficient, air hostess where polite and plane was clean prior to take off. Landing and take off both on time."
Nadelen: "Two toilets for 100+ people meant long queues for the bathroom throughout the flights. The toilets were not even once cleaned in a flight of 4 Hours, meaning that by the final hour, they were a complete utter disaster in terms of hygiene. Pilot made a complete mess of descending and landing."

Nadelen: "I was bumped off my flight and re-routed return to NYC. Flight was supposed to depart at 10:25am and flight they put me on left 1:05 Pm and the connection was not even Finnair, but Icelandic air. The Kayak site did not alert about extra charge for confirmed seat before I had paid in full ticket."

Nadelen: "The seats are uncomfortable, no leg room, no space between seats and the trays hit ones’s stomach. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. The food was awful. Overheated and not cooked through at the same time. Breakfast was odd. Non-Greek yoghurt and cashews. Just strange."

Voordelen: "Smooth flight"
Nadelen: "Better leg room, better food, friendlier crew. Today you only get good treatment if you pay extra for it... Something is wrong with the pay-for-good-service model most airlines follow"

Nadelen: "Endless waiting and lost luggage. Excuse was unpredicted weather conditions. It was snowing in Finland so they had to clear the Ice from the planes.. Snowing in Finland? How uncommon is that during December? I think most of this is poor ground handling In Helsinki."

Nadelen: "No entertainment system on a 3 hour flight..."

Voordelen: "People, service and food were great. Everyone had free blankets, pI'll own and earbuds. Cost was also great."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew were veey vwey friendly and nice to the passengers."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system was little outdated( ie. lacks HD screens) and the seats were uncomfortable for night flights."

Voordelen: "Decent flight from SFO to HEL, friendly staff ..."
Nadelen: "Ran out of food options from SFO to HEL. I was sitting towards the end of the plane ... and no more chicken so got stuck with the pork and mashed potatoes options. Need more coffee aboard the flight. ANA cleans the bathroom periodically, and wouldn't be bad to do the same on long flights. The arm rest between seats don't go all the way up, only half way. If the person in front of you is asleep during meal service, the FA (flight attendant) won't lift the seat and it may be a very uncomfortable meal experience. Other airlines will have the FA do it themselves. ...and you need to be careful about staying awake to get food (otherwise you can get forgotten)."

Voordelen: "Great service, good legroom, huge screens for entertainment, and nice Marimekko designed blankets and other items. Overall a very nice experience"

Nadelen: "Nice flight, nice crew"

Voordelen: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Nadelen: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."

Voordelen: "Le service. Et le confort"

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and helpful. There were multiple runs for drinks and the meal was delicious. The entertainment tablet offered good movies and tv shows."
Nadelen: "The lights where not lowered down to make it easy for people to rest and make it easier to fall sleep."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Voordelen: "Spacious plane"
Nadelen: "Could not select convenient seats with companion, food and entertainment very mediocre"

Voordelen: "The crew was courteous."
Nadelen: "Another passenger dropped a very heavy suitcase on my head. I have never been afraid for my safety before, but this time I was. I wasn't seriously hurt but what really upsets me is that the other person wasn't even reprimanded. Also, that suitcase was way too heavy and I'm surprised this person was allowed to board the plane with it. Also, boarding was horrible and the flight was late. I will never forget this experience and would avoid flying with Finnair ever again! This was really the worst flight I have ever experienced!"

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "Food was terrible. Entertainment system kept breaking."

Nadelen: "They left my baggage behind!!"

Nadelen: "Food, no option asked just served from Helsinki to Miami. Entertainment system was not working and later had only limited options."

Voordelen: "My stay in the air was approximately about an hour from stockholm to Helsinki. They smiled me and gave comfortable service as always . Thanks"
Nadelen: "It may be not about flying process but airport environment or service. ARN airport was a bit cold even inside of the building . The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."

Voordelen: "inbound crew very friendly - nice plane on outbound flight . service throughout inbound flight"
Nadelen: "Food was not good at all on outbound flight, limited vegetarian options inbound and was not able to select preference prior to flight. staff on outbound flight were unfriendly and service stopped after meal."

Nadelen: "30 min between flying"

Voordelen: "That I made it safely to my destination. Updates from the cockpit were appreciated. Plane was nearly empty, so I was able to stretch out over severa seats."
Nadelen: "I haven't heard good things about American Airlines, and now I know why. Probably the oldest plane in the fleet. Entertainment was 2-3 fold down screens from the ceiling. I can't remember the last time I flew on a transatlantic fight with no entertainment- nearly 20 years ago I'm sure. Airplane food is never great, but food options were worse than normal. American Airlines customer service at JFK was horrendous, resulting in several passengers missing their flight. (I was there if 4 hours to spare, but had to wait 1hr+ to have my birthdate changed in the system.)"

Voordelen: "Courtesy of staff was top notch"
Nadelen: "Older plane. Entertainment system very dated poor screen quality."

Voordelen: "The flight was great...the staff are wonderful people...they are so sweet and kind...they work so hard...the service was great...I love their personalities..The Movie selection was awesome...Because of my broken leg, they were there to help me right away...amazing crew...will be flying with them again in October....looking forward to flying with British Airways again... Voordelen: "We ended up being on a BA flight which was fine. Ok service, check in from London much better than USA. In flight entertainment good."
Nadelen: "Nonchalant crew on the way back, I asked if they had any snacks half way into the flight as I didn't eat dinner, I went to the galley and the head of customer service heard my request, looked at me and just carried on reading his paper leaving a flight attendant to offer me a small bag of pretzels , which she had to search for. Very poor"

Nadelen: "Boarding process at Heathrow was chaotic. Could not hear announcements and the response was a large crowd pushing towards an unclear entrance point. The seats are quite small and recline a minimal amount My biggest complaint is that four of us traveling together could not be seated in close proximity to each other, despite making that request over four months before the flight. Extremely frustrating to deal with check-in process as well--because we booked on Finnair, we could not use online system. This was an aggravation considering we were traveling. And--one of our bags was left behind in London. \"

Nadelen: "Crew members were almost non-existent. Saw them beginning and end of flight only and this was not even red eye flight. Food quality was very poor for premium seating. Many on board had to approach flight crew in back of cabin to get something to drink throughout he 10 hour flight."

Voordelen: "Updated gate changes sent to phone was a life saver!"

Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and efficient. Flight crew was polite, helpful and friendly. Had adequate leg room in coach, added plus was the flight was not crowded so did not have anyone sitting next to me. Did not feel squashed and claustrophobic as a result. Food was satisfactory."
Nadelen: "Was inadequately fed on the Houston to London leg. Got nothing but a nightcap. The following morning I received a cold, stale croissant as part of a lunch box for a preschooler, nothing warm, no protein after 8 hrs in flight. I could not check in online."

Voordelen: "Direct flight"
Nadelen: "Service onboard was terrible. Very rarely saw the crew, constantly had to go up and and ask for a drink. 11 hour flight only offered drinks with the meal service..."

Nadelen: "Terribly uncomfortable seats, very dated entertainment options, bland food."
