Voordelen: "Upon arriving in Minneapolis-St. Paul, it was a struggle to determine whether or not my bags had made it, whether or not I needed to collect them from baggage claim due to the cancellations/delays, and if I was even going to be able to transfer my ticket. Flight arrived late in the evening when most flights were basically complete for the day. Luckily, I happened upon a red-eye arrival, and spoke to an agent at that gate (Taj). Taj was without a doubt, THE BEST GATE AGENT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN MY 40+ YEARS OF TRAVELLING!! I explained my situation to him, and he immediately asked to see my travel info. He proceeded to get me on a flight much earlier than originally anticipated, upgraded me to Premium fare status, and did his best to re-route my luggage (which he informed me was still sitting in ATLANTA 18 hours after having left there...) - how does someone get on a flight, and their check-in get noted, but their luggage does not get put on said flight?? Things that make you go hmmmmm.... All that aside...I will be planning a trip to Minneapolis-St. Paul specifically to take a gift of appreciation to Taj! Well done on this end Delta - Taj is an excellent example of intelligent customer service."
Nadelen: "Last minute notifications of delays/cancellations. Luggage was not placed on my original departing flight from Atlanta 18 HOURS EARLIER...not cool Delta. As a result, I did not receive my luggage for another 2 1/2 days ."

Nadelen: "This was an almost 6 hour long flight, LAX to OGG. The aircraft was older and for a 6 hour flight, they really should use a bigger and newer aircraft. The entertainment systems on the back of the seat worked sporadically and the PA system was too loud and every time the PA system was used while we had our headsets on, it was excruciating We had no warning in order to remove our headsets before it blasted into our ears. We were amazed that after paying a considerable sum for our tickets and being in the air for 6 hours, there was limited meal service and we were required to purchase a sandwich in order to eat. I fly Delta frequently and this was by far the worse flight I can remember."

Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

The flight also boarded and departed mostly on time, and the onboard wifi was great."
Nadelen: "It was a bit confusing to check in online, as the WestJet site doesn't list Seattle as a departure city and then it took several different input attempts before Delta's site found my WestJet flight info."

Nadelen: "They gave my 70-year old mother only a few hours notice that they were changing her one-stop four-hour 6AM flight into an 8AM multi stop 14-hour marathon. In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER."

Voordelen: "I was very impressed with the Ground crew who met me off the plane and had already arranged for me to go on a later flight with Emirates. If it had been possible to let me know when I was on the first flight that my onward travel had been arranged then it would have been perfect."
Nadelen: "my TAP Portugal flight from Lisbon to Heathrow was so late I missed my connection to AbuDhabi."
Nadelen: "Flight was overbooked by over 20 people and even though we got the airport 2 hrs early to check in we were bumped from the flight. Next flight available was not for over 8 hrs later that day. Rude and not helpful employees. No gate announcement when flight was then delayed. Most American size carry one do not fit in overbooked head and was forced to gate check."

Meals were provided as was entertainment (there were individual tv screens for us to watch movies on) all for no additional cost to us. From the customer service to the services provided and the legroom on the flight -- everything was more than what we expected and we would consider flying TAP Portugal again."

Nadelen: "Not TAP's fault, but long lines at customs and security at Lisbon Airport made us run to arrive at gate for next flight. Again, not TAP's fault, but additional security check at the waiting area, opening carry-on baggage and emptying my purse seemed over the top."
Nadelen: "Schedule was impossible to make the connection due to the need to go through customs which took 45min. Flight was delayed and we missed our connection. The delay was over 6hrs which was rough."

Nadelen: "My entertainment console did not work for the entire 8 hour flight, and to make matters worse the screen kept flashing a bright white light every 30 seconds or so, preventing me from sleeping. I had to tell 3-4 crew members for them to at least broadcast a movie to my seat to make the flashing stop. I was also seated right next to the bathroom, which usually isn't so bad, but since most of the passengers were elderly, it was being used literally nonstop for the majority of the flight. The crew only briefly cleaned it once... I was seated next to a screaming toddler as well. This isn't really the airline's fault, but it certainly didn't help. I felt like I did not get my money's worth for this flight and that it was a poor experience."
Nadelen: "I cannot think of anything - our connecting flight was delayed and TAP was incredibly proactive and had a van waiting to rush is over security -overall - fantastic service"

Nadelen: "On this particular trip there was nothing that I did not like. I make a habit of flying on TAP as often as possible. I've rarely had an opportunity to complain about any of the services they provide."

Nadelen: "I had booked my Air Canada trip and had a single stop-over while I switched to a different plane. Both of these planes were Air Canada. I Even though I made it through Customs in the shortest time possible, and back through security, I still managed to narrowly make my second flight. They were final-calling my name and actually taking off earlier than expected. Had I been 2 more minutes late, my flight would probably have taken off. I didn't check any bags either, so had I checked one, I don't think I would have made my second flight."

Nadelen: "They boarded us already a half hour late on our plane. Then after we were all boarded they decided to tell us that the pilots had not even landed from their previous flight yet. Once the pilots finally got on board the aircraft they still took another 40 minutes to do their routine checks. Almost two hours later we finally took off."

Nadelen: "Nous avions payé un supplément pour réserver des places assises puisque nous étions 6, dont 4 enfants et ce 5 mois à l'avance. Il s'agissait de 3 bancs sur deux rangées de sorte d'avoir un partent accompagnant 2 enfants. Lors de l'enregistrement, le matin meme, nous avons appris que le model de l'avion avait changé et que deux des passagers devaient être relocalisés. Donc, nous nous retrouvions assis 2 par deux dont deux a quelques rangées de nous. Nous avons dû placer les deux enfants les plus vieux ensemble, sans parent pour les accompagner. c'était leur premier vol en plus et étaient très nerveux! Plates comme situation quand tu débourses pour des places assises d'avances pour être certain de faire vivre une belle expérience à toute la famille et que sans avis, sans remboursement, on te déplace."
Nadelen: "Il n'y avait aucun divertissement. Aucun repas n'a été servi non plus malgré un vol de plus de 5h30. Cela a pris 2 heures avant qu'on nous offre quelque chose à boire. La moitié du personnel était bête et désagréable. Une des pires compagnies avec laquelle j'ai voyagé."
Voordelen: "Le repas était très bon et chaud! En classe économique , nous avions assez d'espace pour nos jambes."
Nadelen: "Malheureusement , j'ai eu un siège qui ne permettait aucun divertissement, pas d'écran en fonction et pas de lumière pour éclairer mes lectures. J'ai avisé 2 agents de bord pour savoir s'il serait possible de faire un ajustement du système puis je n'ai jamais eu de retour de leur part ...J'aurais aimé avoir une réponse à ma demande !"

Nadelen: "Everytime I have flown air canada they are behind schedule and so unorganized with boarding and their snack suck not everyone likes pretzels. Other air lines I have flown with Opperator much more smoothly offer pretzels or cookies and are on time"

Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Nadelen: "Je suis outré de payer un supplément pour les bagages lorsque la compagnie offre de gérer les bagages de cabines gratuitement lors de l'embarquement. Noter que les bagages de cabines sont de plus en plus gros et qu'il se rapproche énormément des valises que l'on met en soute et auquel il faut payer... C'est vraiment enrageant et j'ai l'impression de me faire avoir."
Nadelen: "La prise pour les écouteurs ne fonctionnait pas, donc je n'ai pas pu utiliser les divertissements!"
Nadelen: "Six hours stuck at an airport with no where to get decent food and ended up sleeping on the floor. There should not be a stop to flights at night time."
Voordelen: "Staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in was quick and painless, despite the mobile boarding pass not working properly."
Nadelen: "Did not ear food or use the in-flight entertainment. Seats are TINY! As a person with very broad shoulders, I found myself literally wedged into a corner as to not bump the person next to me. These planes should not be 3 seater when they are designed for two."

Nadelen: "For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again."
Voordelen: "Seat was broken, you can not recline seat. Flight was full, I was told so you have to sit on same seat. Secondly, there was one kid who keep crying yelling like hell, big time headache. It was about 6 early morning flight came at airport by 3:00am thought will sleep on air. On boarding, only drinks was offered, not even cookies or snacks there."
Nadelen: "Broken Seat No cookies or nuts, only drinks For kids or infants- airline should give them last seats or offers Air buds."
Nadelen: "No cookies or pretzels."
Nadelen: "Flight attendant was awful My seat assignment was the same seat designated to crew and my flight attendant treated badly inspite of the error"
Voordelen: "Crew members were very helpful and friendly."
Nadelen: "We were delayed another hour on the tarmac for refuelling. Seems like they should have delayed boarding."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed several times, and then they lost my baggage, when I landed in Chicago, no bag. A person from United Airlines called me at 7:00 AM the next morning and said that they had my bag. He directed it to GRB that day. Thanks to him I got my bag back!"
Nadelen: "They lost my bag which was full of important clothing I needed for interviews this week."
Voordelen: "Liked the smile in the faces of the crew as they served the snacks"

Nadelen: "My biggest complaint regarding air Canada is the poor service and indifference typically exhibited by their service staff."
Nadelen: "It wascancelled and rebooked for next day. Then the person whi gave me the ticket told me no hotel booked other one told me just take a blanket and sleep in the airport!!!!!! Is that a joke!!!!"
Voordelen: "Linda the Air Canada check in Agent at the Priority desk in Calgary was the best Check in Agent I have ever dealt with in over 20 years of business travel. I was with my family and she even made a special effort with my two Granddaughters that they are still talking about today. She is the reason Air Canada still has ALL of my business every year"
Nadelen: "Air Canada as well as WestJet charge exuberant amounts for local flights. They offer services and leg room of a budget airline while charging prices at the top range of a regular airline. Lack of proper competition in Canada allows Air Canada and WestJet to charge whatever they want since there are no other real options"
Nadelen: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."
