The fruit was nearly frozen it was so cold. The entree had a few different things but still a weird combination of veggies."

One ANA staff sends us to wait to a certain counter after looking at our ENTIRE trip (all 3 segments), only to find out 20min later that we were supposed to go to ANOTHER counter, because our ultimate destination was International (USA). Also, boarding passes had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason. Note: on the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier, we had similar poor experience, but we only had to wait 5 min in the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling, but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily, and take FOREVER to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. --> do more regular TRAINING of your staff at airport counters !"

Nadelen: "I left 3 hours early from my hotel. This was my first time ever being in the Philippines so I did not fully grasp the amount of traffic. I arrived at the check in counter with 52 minutes to spare and they told me I could not board. The plane wasnt even boarding passengers yet. I even went as far as to say that I would leave my luggage as I had to get on the flight. They did not allow this either. They said that I would need to get on another flight. To add insult to injury they did not credit me with ANY of what I had purchased for my previous flight since I ordered through Kayak. I am 100% dissatisfied with ANA and I am asking kayak to rectify what they have done. I have already emailed ANA upper management and will be taking this to social media, the news, and any other outlet I can find. I had to pay for a hotel, miss 2 days of work and pay for a 700 dollar "premium" seat ticket since that was all they claimed they had. I find that last part funny, since I saw about 12 empty seats on my flight. I am hoping to hear from kayak so they can explain why they do business with a company that clearly does not care about it's customers."

Nadelen: "I was given the impression that i was flying on ANA planes when I booked the ticket. After I paid, I noticed that the planes with ANA flight numbers were actually United airline planes. The 11-12 hours traveling from Chicago was on an OLD plane that had TV screens way up high. Most unpleasant flight."
Voordelen: "The service from beginning to end was outstanding. The use of the different lounges and the access to them was clear and options were great."
Nadelen: "Plane was a bit older and the TV was not very good quality as a result."
Voordelen: "The lovely flight attendants pointed out Mt Fuji to my husband and I through the window. We were in the exit row adjacent to the galley. Watched a ton of great free movies. Hot towels. Friendly, well dressed flight attendants. Complimentary cocktails (even though I don't drink), and the delicious juice."
Nadelen: "This review is based on my overall itinerary not specific to this leg: I know ANA tried hard to create a good menu but I did not care for the food at all. Surprised they served a creamy seafood dish. This is not a good idea both in terms of odor (filling the cabin) and the limited number of people who eat this combination. With both Japanese and western offerings on the menu, they should move away from the current option The breakfast was poor as well. Lastly, the segment from Tokyo to Jakarta had what seemed to be unusually short legroom but I may have just been cranky and overtired by that leg of our trip."

I filled out the necessary forms, the plane was still at the airport, but I had to board my next flight beforer eceiving any confirmation that the Kindle was located. I fully expected it to be turned in. I flew ANA Nippon Airlines especially because of their reputation for excellent service. I counted on the honesty of the flight clean up crew, and expected my Kindle to be found & returned. I didn't hear from the airline the next day, so I called Nippon in Tokyo. They did not HAVE the Kindle. It was then considered 'lost,' I received this same request about the flight from KAYAK and I didn't receive any response from YOU. This is the second time I'm writing. Now you say that this isn't the proper format for a report to you. I am not even able to cut & past e this report to you. My frustration has reached it's limit. Seats are way too close together for a long haul...person's tray in front of me was in my face the entire trip and she didn't bother inclining throughout so had to eat my meals like a contortionist. Cramming more seats into a finite space seems to be what all airlines are doing these days. This of us whom are above average in height are forced to insure a more painful and uncomfortable flight as a result."

Voordelen: "The overall experience was good from boarding to disembark. emirates is a quality airline with affordable pricing. Planes were neat and clean cabin crew did their job at their best."
Nadelen: "In some instances their was a shortage of food option. Although the menu said you could have a choice but some of the choices were exhausted by the time crew served it to the half of the travellers and the rest have to eat whatever was leftover. I think Emirates should stock a bit more of the food especially on a plane like Airbus 380. Its a huge aircraft and passengers sting at the vey end had to wait almost 45 min to 1 hr to get their food and that too was whatever leftover. They should make efforts to server all the passengers within a short amount to time rather than keep them waiting for so long. Most of the time more than half of the passengers had already eaten while those sitting in the back were still waiting for their food. Its not cabin crew's inefficiency but rather a policy problem that needs to be addressed."

Nadelen: "Engine noise. Boarding in Dubai was a farce as called to gate even though aircraft was severely delayed inbound. Surly lounge staff didn’t help. Business Class gate desk ‘closed’ even though staffed as person was busy on the phone. Weird 2 - 3 - 2 layout means window and centre seats have to clamber over reclined neighbours. Seat width better than A380 and also less tomb like when reclined to nearly flat bed."

Nadelen: "While the food was ok, there were some odd omissions from the vegetarian meals that sometimes made them seem smaller or worse value compared to the non-veggie options. Still better than I've had on some other airlines though."
Voordelen: "The most important thing about Emirates for me was that they had truly vegan meals and snacks for me that were actually quite good."
Voordelen: "Overall it's a good airline. Economy is fairly comfortable, great entertainment options, decent food, and the staff is exceptional."
Nadelen: "Emirates baggage on board policy is a bit strict compared to most of the other Asian and American flights I've been on. Usually I'm allowed a regular carry-on and a personal item (i.e., a small backpack), but Emirates was very strict on the personal items. Personal items are limited to only Business and First Class passengers. Also, they were extremely strict about the size of my carry-on. As someone who has been on 20+ flights in this year alone, few of them being budget airlines (which are generally very strict), I had no issues whatsoever with the size of my carry-on until I flew with Emirates."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

So we arrived later about 50 minutes so I had to manage my situation and find my next gate and be on time. And an other thing that I disliked was that I was allowed to have only one baggage which was very unusual for international flight between two countenances. And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

Nadelen: "Unable to pick seats in advance,, were assigned seats that did not recline for 11 hour flight. One bathroom not functioning. Very limited movie choices for inflight entertainment. Seat belts much shorter than other airlines, so very confining, unable to loosen to relax in any position other than sitting straight in seat. In Rome had to check in & go through security at Terminal 5 then get bussed to Terminal 3. Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

Nadelen: "My family of five spent a lovely week in Sardinia. Our return flight took us through Rome. We were boarded an hour ahead of departure from Rome for our 10+ hour flight, only to be held on the ground for a one hour delay. Barring equipment malfunction, this is a totally unacceptable way to treat people. Be assured that I will avoid Rome in the future if at all possible. I trust that Rome nor Italy need my tourist dollars and there are many lovely other places to spend them. Exceedingly disappointed, Pam Just"

Instead, rush to airport, pay more by having to pay in person. 2. I also could NOT get my boarding pass online. Instead, forced to drive to airport day before just to be sure I'd be on plane! Finnair counter, Hannele politely double-checked all's well, handed me boarding pass. Hannele told to buy extra baggage online being cheaper. This promise, not accurate. Absurd!"

Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "I loved the service. The flight attendants were attentive and courteous. They walked through the cabin periodically to offer water in the 6 hours or so between meal services, and also had self-service drinks and snacks in the galley during that time. Flight attendants asked passengers to put their seats forward during meal times, which very few airlines do. It was the same level of service I have come to expect from the Asian carriers that I usually fly (ANA, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore). The meals were fine, and so was the entertainment. There was a decent choice of movies."
Nadelen: "The economy seats were narrow and cramped on the A340. I was in the first row of economy that wasn't premium economy. Even though the person in front of me had loads more legroom than me, he had his seat all the way back for almost the entire flight and hit me in the head while I was reaching for my bag under the seat in front of me. In order to get to anything in my bag, I had to put my head into the aisle because there wasn't enough room to bend down. Because of the angle of the seats, it was nearly impossible to get into and out of the row (and I was on the aisle)."
Nadelen: "The movies did not play on my screen. I tried to use the screen on the seat next to me and the movies quit in the middle. It was very annoying."

Didn't post gate until very last minute…LHR..Then it said boarding immediately. Nowhere to get water. Hurriedly Boarded plane to find out we have the sit there an hour. Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."

Nadelen: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

Nadelen: "Was inadequately fed on the Houston to London leg. Got nothing but a nightcap. The following morning I received a cold, stale croissant as part of a lunch box for a preschooler, nothing warm, no protein after 8 hrs in flight. I could not check in online."

When you are on a 8 + hour flight. People want their own screen with their own options. Been on many flights to and from Eruope , this was the only flight that was set up like this. Change it"
