This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home."

I thought in my heart seems like he is discriminating, I could be wrong, but I always felt he wasn’t so humble while serving to me or may be other Indians too. But he was smiling extra to rest of the passengers,"
Nadelen: "I didn’t like his attitude. I would request you to request the crew members to be kind to everyone. Since Iam vegtarian ..I couldn’t eat the egg that was served an hour before landing in Chicago. He could have given me the chocolate inside. He just said in haste this has egg. I told him oh I don’t eat egg, thank you. still he could have been considerate and offered me the chocolate “Toubolron” but he just went away. Later on I saw everyone eating the chocolate."

We had no options to pass the time for an eight hour flight. The crew was unconcerned about the problem. They seemed grumpy!! This plane should not be used for long haul flights."
Nadelen: "3 hours stuck on the tarmac before giving up on repairs and switching aircraft"
Nadelen: "I was advised by customer service agent over the phone that it would only cost me $100 for an extra bag on my flight and that it would remain the same whether i paid it online or at the airport. However, at the airport i was told that the extra bag is $200. My office agreed to paying for the extra bag only for $100. Now I am out of pocket with $100. So disappointing."
Voordelen: "The main crew person checking us in was very nice and attentive, tried to keep me posted on changes, and remained pleasant even though some were getting upset."
Nadelen: "flight was delayed, staff didn't update us so people were getting upset and irritable while waiting to hear. Then flight times changed without announcements, upsetting some."
Voordelen: "I like AA overall, better than United for sure. I've been flying with AA since forever."
Nadelen: "Flight attendants arrived late, delayed the passengers. No blanket for main cabin when asked, my parents are old and they were really cold. Harsh landing but that's a give for DCA anyway."
Voordelen: "Extra blanket and pillow. Empty seat to sleep in. Fairly clean interior for the most part."

Nadelen: "Very cheap on the snacks and beverages for a 5 hour trip. Boarding was out of order and slow getting both on and off."
Voordelen: "The crew were excellent and very professional. It was not a full flight and boarding was quick and easy. We landed almost an hour early. When we made the reservation we were told it was an 8 hour and 50 minute flight but we got there in 7 hours and 45 minutes, more than 1 hour early. It would be good to know the real timing so that meetings could be planned in a timely way."
Nadelen: "This is a code share with American Airlines and an American Airlines plane and crew and it is an out of date plane. There were no individual screens only 1 screen hanging down every five or six seats. The seats are very, very narrow. The cleanliness of the tray tables were gooey and full of crusted dirt as were the seat areas in front of the tray tables. I was told that they fly an even older plane from Europe to NY, which is an old one aisle plane. Not sure why AA continues to use such out of date planes but if they use planes from the 1980's it seems to me that they should charge 1980 prices!"

Voordelen: "I was put on hold for a flight that went 2 hours earlier. Almost no waiting at all and staff was very helpful! This only works if you just have carry-on baggage. Everyone was concerned to get me to the flight on time from Checking-in to boarding! Also they were taking care of my backpack that didn't fit in the storage because it was full already. Thank you! I will definetly choose AirCanada again in the future!"
Nadelen: "Getting charged Air Canada rates for Air Canada Rouge comforts. 9 plus hours with zero entertainment. Basically stealing money. If this is the service offered should be at cheapo airlines price."

Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Nadelen: "There was not enough room for many people's carry on items and staff did not help find space. Most of the passengers would not put their small bags under the seats so passengers with big bags had no choice but to give up foot space completely. Carry on limits should be better enforced."
Nadelen: "Hey there good Air Canada folks. I'm a full-time, working, touring musician. I enjoy flying your airline overall, but touring with an acoustic guitar and/or a banjo is constantly stressful. There are clear guidelines about your policies for musical instruments posted on your website, yet your employees never seem to know them. Please have something posted for them at the gates, so I don't have to convince them EVERY TIME that it's okay for me to carry on my instrument in a soft case. A side note: Since airlines started charging for baggage, people are desperate to carry on as much as possible. This means there is always a struggle now against people with a bunch of clothing and personal items in their rolling luggage, to fit the instrument that is my LIVELIHOOD on the plane. Please find a way to make touring with Air Canada easier for musicians. At least return to gate check policies."

Nadelen: "Air Canada failed to transfer my bag from flight 1 to connecting flight 2. This not only happened to me but to other people traveling on the same connecting flight as well. My bag was delivered later then the promised time, it was also returned damaged. It is now almost one week since I have taken my flight and I am unable to process a claim because they have not updated my file via their Bag Tracer program. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do to be considered a real commercial air line company"
Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"
Voordelen: "Was offered water frequently :-) at least didn't have to ask or pay for it. Entertainment was offered. Limited choices."
Nadelen: "There was no announcement for boarding and we found out only when we ASKED personally. Nothing on the board, nothing through speakers. Smaller aircraft for this leg of the journey, not to blame, but seats are old and need refurbishing. They're not torn or anything but not comfortable at all. Restroom very small and uncomfortable like a truck stop. Always a line at the door."
Nadelen: "They didn't even let me check in. Spent 12 extra hours at the airports to get home."
Voordelen: "Media on plane selection was great. (Best with less greasy finger prints)"
Nadelen: "Any type of line or zones. Fill front then back to front?? Kids first? I still resent the handkerchief guy who sat around then cut into position ahead of people who had stood and waited for a lot longer!! Including me!"
Voordelen: "The check in was fast and easy, even was able to get a better seat. The cabin and seat were comfortable, the crew very nice. There wasn't any food which is never offered on thse shortish flights. Flight was on time and smooth."
Nadelen: "Nothing to do with the flight. Just the passport control took a long time in Toronto, which is not the airlines problem."
Nadelen: "on march 13/ 2016 booked my tickets on kayak.com so end up getting it with vayama.on july 28 missed my flight for a family raison called vayama and explained the situation they said they will help me just they need to confirm with the airlines (air canada) and they will give me new tickets.no body called me back ,called air canada said: we have ticket but you need to get it from vayama.called vayama again he said sorry about that i will let everyone know and he promise me that i will get help a.s.a.p.did't hear from them left with my wife and two kids in morocco for a week end up buying new tickets from laufthansa."
Voordelen: "The flight was on time"
Nadelen: "This was an overnight flight and we had our seats changed to the back row without being told. The seats would not recline and when the seats in front of us reclined for the entire flight, the screen and chair were about a foot from our faces. This was hands down the worst flight I have ever had. The flight crew Wulf not move us as the flight was full, and despite there being more than half of the first class seats available, they would not let us sit there. I will likely not fly air canada again given this experience."
Voordelen: "I liked the gate agents."
Nadelen: "Where to start? How about, the planes are so old and so poorly maintained that our plane was almost three hours late taking off while they fixed something. At least two other flights from Dublin to Toronto took off around us, but we were never offered to be switched over to other planes so we could make our connecting flights. As a result, a plane full of angry people hassled by a serious lack of customer service focus landed in Toronto and had to, AGAIN, get in a huge line to be processed with all of the missed flights. They knew we were coming--WHY weren't there more preparations made for a much smoother transition?? I hate Air Canada and will never again knowingly book that airline. They need to change out the entire fleet of old, crappy, smelly, falling-apart planes."
Voordelen: "Staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in was quick and painless, despite the mobile boarding pass not working properly."
Nadelen: "Did not ear food or use the in-flight entertainment. Seats are TINY! As a person with very broad shoulders, I found myself literally wedged into a corner as to not bump the person next to me. These planes should not be 3 seater when they are designed for two."
Voordelen: "The meals provided from London to Montreal were delicious! Best food I've had on a plane before."
Nadelen: "there really isn't much room in between seats. You can't even lean down in front of you to pick up something with out having your neighbors move."
Voordelen: "The aircraft was very new and the food was good for airline food and they had vegetarian options."
Nadelen: "The boarding process was very unorganized. Roughly 20 people were not assigned seats and had to receive their seats at the gate. However when we all stood in line, the crew did not help anyone but talked with one another and then only one helped for about two minutes before disappearing. I was second in line and I stood there for over 30 minutes. Then once we boarded the flight, the crew was very rude when speaking to customers. Overall the crew was very unorganized and extremely rude."

Nadelen: "No notification of cancelled flights. Inaccurate information provided at airport. Entire flight told to go home and return next day.waited on phone for customer service for 1 hr and in line at airport for 1 1/2 hrs. Eventually flights took off and successfully travelled standby contrary to agents instructions."
Voordelen: "The in-flight entertainment was satisfactory."
Nadelen: "-They wanted to check my bag at the gate, so I let them, and they lost it, for two and a half days, all the while being rather smug to me about it, saying things like "what do you want me to do about it." -On a 6 hour international flight starting at 9:45AM and landing at 6PM they did not offer us even a pretzel or peanut. This flight definitely spans lunch hours, but they insist you pay for even the smallest snack. -Customer service has been repeatedly short with me (I have had other incidents with lost luggage). They act like whatever happened could not have been avoided, and that you should know your place as a traveller. The idea of the customer being right is totally lost on them. CONCLUSION: they simply don't care. This airline was a monopoly for years, and it shows in their daily operations. They are ineffective, and entitled, and I will go far out of my way not to deal with them again."
