Nadelen: "The seat's recline button was broken which meant having to sit for 12+ hours upright. Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

Nadelen: "Harassment caused in providing wheel chairs for boarding Second flight to NY fm Istanbul. For two of us only one wheel chair was provided that too after making us stand for an hour as no seating arrangement s were available after landing from Mumbai."
There was already a group forming a line at zone 4 for a good 15mins and another group created another line just 5mins before boarding and the 1st group had to re-queue. A few of us voiced out to the floor crew but they did nothing. Earphones. Could be supplied first since the flight is suffisent for a movie.
Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

This flight was a bit of a let down compared to our departing flight. The food was pretty bad, I couldn't even cut the meat. But the thing that made this less enjoyable was the terrible check-in process. We waited over 70 minutes to check in for Business class. Numerous people almost missed their flight, which made the line even longer. I've never waiting in a standard line that long to check-in, so to experience it for Business class was disappointing at best. Also, the flight attendants weren't as friendly as the ones on our flight to London. One of them with dark hair was great, but the other 2 were grumpy and seemed irritable most of the flight. The experience was quite different from our flight from SEA to LHR, so it was a bummer to end the trip on a mediocre note--especially with the cost of these tickets.

Business class crew was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast likewise - tasty, healthy and substantial. All in all, the flight itself was great, so kudos to Finnair. What a contrast, then, to the pitiable Terminal 8 at JFK, where it was almost impossible to even find a seat (no exaggeration!) before security.

I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"
Nadelen: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

It would have been better to have a complete information up front. But the airplane and crew were excellent."

Nadelen: "Plane tiny and not very comfortable, but the flight time is pretty short so it is not bad overall"

Nadelen: "Late change gate number. Automatic info-terminal can't read my boarding pass. Not possibility enter flight number ( AY6 - only digits, no letters) Please make WiFi low speed free. Please be atention: more than half passengers russian - there no any muvy russian audio or subtitle on TV Don't show fly with short (30min) transfering"
Voordelen: "I have Parkinson's disease, and my ability to walk is dependent on how long it has been since I last took carbidopa/levodopa, and how much I have exercised while standing since taking my medicine. I have difficulty walking narrow aisles, and in crowds. The staff was very understanding, and let me pre-board, ensured someone was there to help me deplane, carried my carry-on for me, and did everything possible to assist me. The crew/staff was wonderful!"
Voordelen: "A bit delaye in Departure but ok overall"

Nadelen: "... but a disaster when things go wrong. Too many pilots "sick" on new year day so our HEL-SIN flight was cancelled. We spent three hours at the airport queueing and only getting a hotel. No alternative flight. We spent an hour waiting on line at their call center (no local numbers, only one Finland number) and got rebooked on a super tight HEL-FRA-LHR-SIN connectiob, which we barely made as the connection times were so short. Plus they messed up the checkin so we got denied boarding in Frankfurt and lost our suitcases. Perfect storm... we will NEVER take this airline again. Totally understaffed and I competent. Fly a major airline and pay a little more to avoid things like this..."
Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"
Voordelen: "The flight was on time, crew worked really well. The food was okey as usual on Finnair."

Voordelen: "There was a flight attendant who was perfect for his career-absolutely the best ever on the Rome to Philadelphia flight-a tall, African American gentleman. So accommodating and friendly!"

Nadelen: "I have asked repeatedly for the airline to give out the boarding passes and check bags at least three hours before the flight. Between long lines, security checks and a limited amount of time from when we get our boarding passes, one can not enjoy Budapest Airport!"

Please ask them to keep flight schedules and value the timings.

Voordelen: "crew was good. Seat was good but it was a business class seat in a 787-9; so it should be good."
Nadelen: "wines were mediocre which was balanced out by the good quality of the food. Brussels to Abu Dabhi boarding was a little chaotic with coach and front cabin passesgers packed in a single bus. Noticed many older passengers standing for the longish bus ride."

Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."

Voordelen: "Not much to enjoy. Food was bread with hummus with cheese(?) pretty plain."
Nadelen: "Seats were very slim and limited leg room. Balkhead did not offer much storage. Cumbersome to get in and out of easily. One of the poorest trip in my 63 country travels. Would not recommend Etihad to my friends."
Voordelen: "Boarding in this time was quick, flight was delayed by almost 45 minutes but pilot made time and we were only 10 to 15 minutes late landing into Singapore. The only redeeming quality was the nice gentleman next to me who was helpful."

Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Voordelen: "We ended up being delayed on the flight for about 3 hours due to fog in Abu Dhabi— delays are always frustrating but the crew was absolutely fantastic. The head of cabin crew personally came by to explain the problem and made he passengers feel welcome. Excellent service all around, especially when the situation is unpleasant but not within anyone’s control."

Nadelen: "My seat in 13 hour long flight was Broken! The chair wouldn't recline! The crew couldn't help saying the flight was full and couple other chairs were having the same problem (?!!!). The food was mediocre. The cabin bag size limit was very small."

Nadelen: "Checked in online and booked seats that had extra legroom. When boarding the plane seats had been changed and we were separated. Not happy about it. Agree with other reviewers re Abu Dhabi, not the most pleasant experience in the connections hall. A bit all over the place!"
Nadelen: "On the dreamliner flights they have tried to cram a ton of seats in so if your over 5'8 you'll be very cramped with your knees under the seats and a strange headrest jammed I to your shoulder. I fly about 20 or 30k miles a year in economy and this is easily the most uncomfortably designed seat I've been in. More over the staff was incredibly dismissive and rude to all I witnessed then keep a older woman waiting for 45 mins for water and then dismiss her when she asked a second time. The check in staff was no better."
Voordelen: "The flight from AMM to Abu Dhabi was excellent. Movie selection was excellent. Everything was excellent. The flight from Abu Dhabi to Muscat was so so. It might be due to the short duration."
Nadelen: "Movie selection, sound system, seat and window shades on the Jordan to Abu Dhabi flight."
Voordelen: "My flight from hyd to auh was delayed and because if that missed connecting flight from auh to LAX. I am now rerouted auh to JFK to LAX. Right now I am in JFK and ny connecting. Flight is delayed by 1 hr 30 mins."
Nadelen: "Etihad Crew is unprofessional and do not know how to handle passengers when flights are delayed"
Nadelen: "The cupcake served was eaten by some animal before opening. Have lodged complaint and may send them video."

Nadelen: "They wouldn't print my boarding pass in time for me to make it back. The transfer desk at Kuwait airport is inefficient and I missed my flight home. I could not get a flight home without buying another flight. They refused to put me on the next flight out without me purchasing it. I will never fly them again. Now they don't want to reimburse me for my flight I missed without an $800 penalty. Ridiculous!"
Voordelen: "Seats are more comfortable than Qatar. Staff was very friendly. They handed out more water than other airlines, which is much needed on the long flights."
Nadelen: "They caused a lot of us to miss our connecting flights bc of hours-long delays. I had to stay overnight in Abu Dhabi. They put me up, which was nice, but I was sad to miss the first day of my work trip bc of it."
Voordelen: "I loved that I got a free upgrade to Business class. The steward was so kind and attentive. He made the trip great! I enjoyed it all especially getting to really rest on an overnight flight!!"

Voordelen: "Main course not served in the Dinner. My wife asked to crew about main course they told to her it is completed I mean not available any more."

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Nadelen: "Le vol était complet et nous nous sommes vu proposés éventuellement un vol AF direct en remplacement. Après notre acceptation, en dernière minute, nous avons finalement embarqué sur ETIHAD. Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE.
