I want my refund back I request change flight date no one answer me
Was not given boarding passes at Brussels Lufthansa check in. Told to get them at the gate in Munich.
Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer
J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.
Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable
Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.
I have one comment for this trip, sardine, pandemic and everything, and plane was maxed. It was horrible. Staff was great but, this was horrible.
They canceled my flight yesterday from Columbus Ohio so why ur sending me this shit
Nadelen: "Flight left without us even though they knew our flight had landed and we were on our way. Then they rerouted us with a longer flight and our luggage didn’t make it."
Nadelen: "Self-check-in at Munich was unnecessarily complex. Same for procedure to check in luggage. Also, the passport had to be inspected twice despite being already in the secure zone."

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Nadelen: "The worst part was that we waited an hour for our luggage afterwards. This caused us to almost miss our ferry connection (last one of the day). Also when we finally got our luggage it was soaking wet (I had a backpack and my clothes inside was wet!) so clearly the luggage had been standing out in the rain for quite some time."
Nadelen: "Small complaint but the movie selection was not very diverse & would have liked to have known before hand that there would be a charge for good on a longish flight from YVR to KEF."

Voordelen: "The check in and boarding was easy. I imagine if you were only going to Iceland for vacation this airline would be fine- just remember to bring food on board- one of the very few airlines not to serve food on transatlantic flights-at least you do get one checked baggage allowance."
Nadelen: "It was my fault not to book my flight earlier with another airline. I have taken this trip several times and every airline I’ve taken previously uses newer planes and serves some food, Icelandair charges large fees for even snacks!The engine noise IN the plane was quite disturbingly loud."

Pleas to address the situation were totally ignored. This, I believe, is an unconscionable way to run an airline."

Nadelen: "Icelandair makes you think that the ticket is a real bargain but the luggage charges to check one bag per person cost as much as the ticket, then you have to pay for food and many seat choices."
Voordelen: "The crew was pleasant throughout."
Nadelen: "Very squished quarters for a seven hour flight! Several couples were separated and had to reconfigure to sit together. No room under the seat in the middle row. What happened to free meals on international flights over 5hrs or so? Terrible airport management with a crush of international flights all leaving in a small space and no warning on the arriving flight to Reykjavik about how to prepare for the connecting flight. One of the main restaurants was closing at 17:00 and had run out of some dishes at 15:30."
Nadelen: "Our plane was broken. Initially they said an hour late and then the time before our flight increased. Because our flight was delayed, I missed I missed an important meeting."

Voordelen: "Food on business class was good. The coffee was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."
Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."
Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."
Voordelen: "Iceland Air personnel were super accommodating, in Seattle on the ground and in he air."
Nadelen: "Swissport personnel in Europe were awful. Bags were delayed in Amsterdam for over an hour after landing. Check in at Brussels was also an hour long queue. Boarding in the terminal in Iceland was very disorganized."
Voordelen: "The crew were fabulous,"
Nadelen: "Tranisting through the reykjavik airport was a horrible experience. There was no information, and the terminal (especially the gate areas) were seriously overcrowded."
Voordelen: "The plane was quite modern and comfortable"
Nadelen: "I preordered and prepaid for meals, but on this flight I had to go ask for my meal."

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."

Nadelen: "We got stuck at the agent counter checking in our bag for 30-45min cuz they couldn’t figure out my wife’s visa. They also charged us €88 per check in bag. We could t do it online for some reason. I’m never flying this airline again."
Voordelen: "Good movie selection?"
Nadelen: "I had to pay for extra luggage, because though I paid for an Economy Standard ticket which does come with checked-in baggage, there was nothing written on my ticket to prove it. I paid for the standard ticket ahead of time specifically. Although the staff were nice enough, for a struggling student, this mix-up was unacceptable. I now find myself making calls and trying to get in contact with both Kayak and Icelandair for a refund of the 88euro. I think I was particularly unlucky, because I was picked twice for special security checks, which pulled me out of the line I was waiting in while the flight was delayed, and I had to re-enter the line at the end. Though I requested window seats, I did not receive one either time (though I knew it wasn't guaranteed). There was also no overhead storage space for carry-ons overhead, so I had to make my way to the front of the plane to store my backpack, and several of those who came after me had to sit with their carry-ons on their lap. The seats were also pretty uncomfortable with a thick unadjustable headrest; and the air quality was terrible, a bit smelly and very dry. As a frequent flyer (who does fly with icelandair occasionally) this was unusual."

Nadelen: "Forget about comfortable experience during the flight. The way how they list the ticket from Kayak is the scam. Stated Economy class on Kayak and their own website ticket info. Once you chek in, they will stated this is the cheapest economy ticket, doesnt allow any baggage, and you have to pay I think around $150 for round trip baggage. End up with just to carry on, wouldnt able to shop in Europe. If you includ baggage flight would be similar to other airline provide baggage and quality services. Huge mistake, customer service located overseas, and dont care about customer."
Voordelen: "So much more legroom than I'm used to for a budget flight! I was so comfortable and there were plenty of options to keep me entertained on the flight."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a little chaotic and food/wifi was expensive, but would definitely book them again!"

Nadelen: "Typical flight now days. Seats are too small for comfort. There needs to be action by regulators of aviation industry to increase space for coach passengers. I think these regulators should be required to fly coach three times a year in a coach seat on flights of three hours or more."
Nadelen: "We were an hour late with no update Food service took a long time No water given out at check in People in front put their seats back the entire ride and swished is. Should be a rule to keep seats upright"
Nadelen: "Baggage fees were horribly expensive."
Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."
Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."
Nadelen: "Seats are uncomfortable, very uncomfortable compared to other airlines."
Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."
Voordelen: "Good price and short layover. The plane was clean and comfortable."

Nous avons payé des bagages pour un vol que nous n'avons même pas pu embarqué. Préférablement, nous avons tout simplement fait affaire avec une autre ligne aérienne. Il est impossible de rejoindre qui que ce soit au service à la clientèle pouvant nous aider. Auparavant, j'avais déjà fait affaire avec vous et honnêtement, je préfère payer plus cher avec une autre compagnie et obtenir un bon service."
Nadelen: "The staff did not want to accept my ticket purchased through kayak, told me that should have bought a ticket directly through air transat, and they told me to buy a new ticket elsewhere if I wanted to travel on that day. So I had to buy a same day ticket with air canada for an additional $900 CAD, and my ticket bought through kayak was useless, making me waste the entire cost of the ticket purchased through kayak."

Nadelen: "My son and I are both 6’5” and the seat are too close together for leg comfort. Flying used to be about COMFORT for passengers. I paid for our seating thinking we would get extra legroom with emergency seating, I was disappointed."

Nadelen: "Delayed flight, my seat was bumped from an aisle to a window seat although I checked in online and secured the Seat 24hrs prior to departure. The excuse I was given by staff is that the person sitting next to me is a “big” person so it’s for my benefit. Well the row I had planned to sit in had two people with an empty seat in between. And they were not “big” as was said. my seat I was moved to had sick children behind my seat whom were coughing and kicking the back of my seat and the row was completely full. An aweful experience and to top it off, the planes entertainment program was broken so we were provided with no entertainment, video or audio."

Voordelen: "Great price! For the price, we didn't expect much, just travel and get there safe - NO FRILLS. We paid a little extra for legroom and are happy this was not an inflated price. Paying in advance for our bag and getting a small discount was also appreciated. "Get what you pay for" without feeling "nickled and dimed" is what we consider economical and fare treatment."
Nadelen: "Again "you get what you pay for" is considered. However if I was to be critical, the choice of movies was a little stressful and one sided. (Star Wars and The Avengers). I brought my own entertainment but I felt bad for the Older generation who may have preferred something a little more relaxing and less CGI explosions. Also the interior decor and hardware of the plane was seriously aged and worn, which could use for an upgrade soon."

Nadelen: "Le vols a été retarder à partir de Québec. J’ai donc du courir à travers l’aéroport de Montréal pour attraper ma connection vers Edmonton. Arrivée à l’intérieur de l’avion, les compartiments à bagages à main étaient pratiquement tous plein. Eu beaucoup de misère à éviter de mettre mon sac à dos sous le siège devant moi. Chose que je déteste car je suis très grand et j’ai besoin d’espace pour mes jambes. On a finalement trouvé un endroit à inséré mon sc à dos après avoir argumenté avec l’agent de bors."
Voordelen: "Crew were exceptionally good, friendly and helpful. Great entertainment system."
Nadelen: "The food is terrible, overcooked watery beefless beef dishes. Better ti brng your own food."
Voordelen: "Même assis à l'arrière, l'espace pour les jambes est résonable. Rien à voir avec les boing 777."

Nadelen: "Movie selection was limited although I found one in the lot that I thoroughly enjoyed. As always with Air Canada, you only get the most basic snacks and everything else is extra."
Voordelen: "Really nice comfortable seats, amazing windows larger then usually with new technology. Food was ok. It was nice that crew constantly was offering drinks"
Nadelen: "This was a direct flight from DFW to Vancouver. 3.5 hours. Upon arrival in Vancouver we were paged to baggage claim and informed that our bags were taken off the plane and would arrive later in the night. Problem was, we were leaving on a cruise at 4:30PM. Our bags had two cruise luggage tags on each bag. When our bags were delivered to us 2.5 days later in Ketchikan, Alaska - The cruise tags had been torn off our bags. There were a minimum of 8 vacant seats and corresponding luggage not on this plane. I believe Air Canada had a chance to load more cargo and removed our luggage to make more room for the cargo. I will never fly this airline again. I had nothing good to say to anyone on our cruise regarding this airline. Terrible passenger service. The guest services said that 16 bags were delivered in Ketchikan from Air Canada."
Voordelen: "In flight attendance was excellent and we were nearly overfed with plenty of drinks, snacks and meals. It was nice to see both young and elderly ladies as air hostess. This is a strong statement in non discrimination on Account of age in employment. To see a red Indian lady among them was very refreshing."
Nadelen: "Dimming of the windows was not user friendly and we had to put up with bright reflected lights from clouds. On ground both in Calgary and Vancouver the wheel chair attendance was not at the same level as in Frankfurt where it had been given with paramedic competence."
Voordelen: "Flight departed on schedule, and landed early."
Nadelen: "Due to the checked baggage fee, everyone brings massive, heavy carry ons that clearly are oversized and then overhead bins get full fast. I don't understand why airlines don't check people's carry on luggage for size and weight."
Nadelen: "Aucune place pour les jambes."
Voordelen: "Ils se sont quand même occupé de nous afin Que nous puissions mettre nos bagages à bord et prendre notre vol...... juste à temps...."
Voordelen: "Qualité des équipements. Gentillesse du personnel."
Nadelen: "L’avion arrivant de Montréal pour m’embarquer à Québec à dû rebrousset chemin pour « bris mécanique ». Conséquence? On me dis que je perd mes correspondances et ne pourrai être à Berlin que 24h plus tard que prévu. J’ai réussi à « trouver un vol » avec une apps sur mon Iphone. Et apprendre l’existence de ce vol à la préposé."
Voordelen: "Flight was great. Check in not so."
Nadelen: "On March 18, 2018 Joanne, Kevin, and Allison Sheridan were booked to go from SYD to YYJ and only Kevin took off. We went to the airport and my daughter Allison was too anxious to get on as she had to leave her father behind. After she calmed down we went to get on the flight and the lady at the check in, (Onwsha) said it was too late and we could leave the next day. She changed my tickets on the computer and said if we came on Monday, March 19th there wouldn't be a charge but if it was any other date it would be $150.00 per ticket/person. When I arrived to check in on March 19th I was charged the $300. I spoke to Sharon Smith who was with Air Canada Customer Service Coordinator and I explained I was told something different by the customer agent. I told her if I knew that and I was told by Onwsha I would have went on the flight on March 18th but would not have checked the bags and just taken carry on luggage as my husband was still at the airport and he could bring them when he came over. Sharon Smith said there was nothing she could do and we had to pay the $300.00. It really has left a bad taste for me with Air Canada especially how many seats were spare and I was told something different from Onwsha. Thank you for your time. Nadelen: "Air Canada Check In staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. My flight was at 7pm and I arrived at 6:10pm because I got stuck in traffic. I had already checked in online, all I needed was to get my baggage tags and drop my bag off. Instead of telling me where to print out my tag, they made me stand in line to talk to the check in staff at the counter. By the time I got to the counter, it was 7:40 and there was zero chance of my bag being checked in for this flight with the staff showing me attitude. When I told him that all I was here before the drop-off time and all I wanted were tags and that his other staff just told me to line up without helping, he just said "you can buy another ticket for the next flight or leave your bag here and pick it up when you return from your trip." Honestly, the worst customer experience I have ever had!"

Voordelen: "While I've ranked the crew as poor, that isn't a reflection of the entire crew. The flight crew and check-in team were fine, the boarding I have as mediocre due to delay, but I don't put that on the staff."
Nadelen: "My issues are two part: 1 - I wasn't informed that I was required to retrieve my luggage from the carousel on this flight from George Town to Toronto. I thought perhaps I missed something, however, the three other couples that were in the same predicament I was weren't aware either. This caused a massive headache, the instructions were superbly poor on how to retrieve the luggage, and the process was completely a waste of time. We had to talk with three different people, the person that took us back to the carousel showed no urgency despite us all explaining that we were on a short layover, and might miss our next flight, and even though we had our passes to get through customs, we were made to wait in line to have our baggage inspected. A completely broken process that could've been avoided with a friendly reminder at check-in. 2 - Once I was able to retrieve my luggage I picked it up off the carousel only to find the handle on one piece of luggage had been ripped off, and the plastic lining on the other bag was destroyed. Admittedly I find this to be no surprise after seeing how mine and everyone else's luggage was handled so poorly upon being loaded into the cargo. I saw my luggage being tossed 3-5 feet into the cargo area - literally picked up, and with complete disregard flung like it was a trash bag being thrown into the dumpster. Since I didn't have time to discuss this with any staff due to my prior issue and being unable to find a representative once I landed back in Vancouver, I called the next day to discuss this over the phone, but the representative explained that I was only able to make a complaint in-person at the time of baggage retrieval. The person was absolutely useless and unwilling to help. This was by far the worst treatment I've had at any time in my life while flying any airline. The trip to George Town was with American Airlines, and even though it was longer, and a tad bit more expensive, the service I had with them was stellar by comparison to my experience with AirCanada. Going forward I will only be using AC when there are absolutely no other options."
Nadelen: "Retard de 7h à l’aéroport de Hong-Kong! Donc attendu 11h ( on avait une escale de 4h au départ) on a eu de la misère à se faire payer un repas à l’aeroport....c’etait Un bol de ramen sans breuvage...."
Voordelen: "The plane was clean and seemed very new. The boarding process was streamlined in an organized way. The entertainment system was okay."
Nadelen: "The plane was a huge B787 Dreamliner and the airline didn't allot enough boarding time to accommodate the hundreds of passengers that needed to get on and settle in. Because of this, the flight was delayed by almost an hour and many people missed their transfers. It seemed like an unreasonable lack of foresight to schedule only the standard half hour before takeoff to board ~300 passengers.On top of that, the flight was roughly four hours long (five with the delay) and no complementary food, even a small snack or two, was offered. The seats in coach were made to be decently comfortable padding-wise, but I felt more packed in like a sardine with the people next to me than on other planes. The flight attendants seemed extremely stressed and overworked, and I couldn't blame them."
Voordelen: "Great food and good space for economy"

Nadelen: "I had a seat with a drip, probably condensation, that feel on my head and face throughout the flight. At one point during takeoff it was a steady stream of water. I sat with a napkin perched on my head and would mop up the water between events. That was a first! And with a long 14 hour flight, not welcomed."

Voordelen: "The flight crew went the extra mile to give good service. There were plenty of meals and snacks throughout the trip."
Nadelen: "The bathrooms are cramped, they are clean however. Seats are also very close together, others must get out if you are in a middle or window seat."
Nadelen: "Pas de place, pas de nourriture inclus, retards dans les vols, bagage perdu. Un cauchemar!!!!"
Nadelen: "There was a horrid family in the row in frony of me that absolutley refused to control their child at all, even when airline staff stepped in , so a really long flight was made to seem even longer and sleeping was out of the question."

Nadelen: "Ground crew were horrible and unnecessarily rude It’s difficult to deal with hoards of people, I get it, but we were pleasant and cheerful and were treated with harsh indifference, decided to seek another agent and he was dismissive Everyone was treated like they were annoying and troublesome children! If AC would just find nice people who have a hint of compassion we’d accept being late and squashed"
Nadelen: "Le vol est à moitié plein. Donc beaucoup de bancs vide. Je voyageais avec un chiot qu'on me demande de mettre au plancher par habitude. En temps normal, on a pas le choix puisque les bancs sont occupés, alors le plus sécuritaire pour tout le monde, c'est que bagages ( et chiot) se retrouve au sol sous le banc avant. Mais dans ce cas s'y, je pouvait ceinturer complètement la cage du chiot. Ne laissant aucun possibilité à celle-ci de se déplacer dans l'environnement s'il advenait des turbulences ou une perte de contrôle de l'appareil. Donc cala est une simple loi de physique. C'est plus sécuritaire pour tout les autres passagers que la cage soit retenue par la ceinture. Au lieu de cela, le personnel dit que c'est au cas où le compartiment ouvre et que des bagages à main tombe sur le chien (alors qu'en est-il pour nous? Devrais-je me coucher au sol?) où il m'explique que cela est plus sécuritaire pour le chiot puisque la ceinture pourrait se refermer sur la cage s'il y a des turbulences. Ce qui est ridicule, une ceinture ne se referme pas tout seule. Peut-être que le chien va bouger dans la cage mais au moin, la cage ne pourra pas bouger. Ce qui n'est pas le cas au sol. Alors plutôt de d'essayer de me convaincre que cela est plus sécuritaire pour le chiot d'être au sol, il vaudrait peut-être mieux leur expliquer les lois de la physique. Que l'équipage comprennent que tout ce qu'on peut immobiliser dans l'habitacle d'un véhicule de transport (avion,auto, train,...) c'est plus sécuritaire pour tout le monde. Que cela soit un chiot ou un bagage ne fait aucune différence. Faire preuve d'un peu de discernement et de réflexion peu s'avérer plus profitable et sécuritaire pour tous."

Voordelen: "Vol rapide et a l’heure malgré le décollage 1h plus tard (je pense qu’il a calculé ce délai qui ne serait pas inhabituel a PVG). Je n’ai rien a redire a part que c’est bien passé."
