Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "I bought travel insurance as I do with any trip. I have a complicated family emergency that forced me to call off the trip. Being that I bought trip insurance, I felt good. Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

Nadelen: "The down side is that these planes are smaller so we didn't have any entertainment and therefore no place to charge digital devices. There is however, wifi to purchase."

My original flight to dallas was delayed from 12:56 to 8pm which would of landed me in dallas at 2:21am but the club Fat Rabbit closes at 2am Which in fact was a 1300 (US dollar) loss. I re booked my ticket to Austin from Vancouver this morning because the only reason to go dallas was my job. Was supposed to fly in have dinner play music get back on the plane n go Austin but going to dallas was irrelevant and a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous."
Nadelen: "The fact I lost 1300.00 us has pissed me off I'm contacting AA about this I have my visa papers n contracts to show proof if not action is taken i will be contacting a lawyer"

Nadelen: "they overbooked the flight. when I asked for clarification about what I should expect, people at the gate were rude for without provocation. They told me I had no seat and were unapologetic about their mistake. when they, at the last minute, said there was room, they assigned me a seat that was already taken."

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Nadelen: "WiFi connection and thereby any information and entertainment did not work. Long wait for luggage."

Nadelen: "The delay was ridiculous. Seats are the usual tiny ones so for a big guy they suck but over all great trip"

Nadelen: "Paid online for food and most choices gone Overpriced"

Nadelen: "The seats have to be the most uncomfortable I have ever had a chance to use. They were uncomfortable from the get go, so it is not just the length of the flight. The general cleanliness was also an issue."

Voordelen: "Seats rotate during recline. Washrooms are nice and big. Window shades are electronic. Dims the cabin but you can still see out. Very comfortable. Very stable in the air, like a 747. Great entertainment package. Free wine."
Nadelen: "Pretty much the worst food I’ve had and I’ve travelled a lot, all over the world. You would think on a flight to Paris that the food would be excellent?!!"

Voordelen: "The crew were very good. In any case, I shall fly with AC again."
Nadelen: "Lining up to check in with bags. The customers were "sorted" but I finished up on a very long line with only one person serving; after 30 minutes, that person just wandered off, presumably for a break. We, on the queue waited for 15 minutes for a new person to return. When it was my turn to check in the process took no more tan 30 seconds whilst for others it had taken 10 minutes and more. Dreadful experience. The choice of entertaining films was limited on my flight; normally AC has a wide choice."

Voordelen: "Generally, AC flights are OK to good, but they have a problem with SFO, especially from YVR."
Nadelen: "Six hours late. Mechanical problem. Boarding crew often incomprehensible but we got a food voucher. On board, two crew members in general seating were disinterested to the point of rudeness. I flew at least eight times this year in NA and Europe. These guys were the worst! It was like WE kept them late."

Nadelen: "Air Canada Rouge is a nasty way to travel. In a standard seat, there is enough room for a very small adult/ child. If you are 6ft tall or more, you are going to be in trouble. If Air Canada gave an extra 3 inches of space for your knees between the seat in front of your own seat, everything else would be bearable. Corporate greed drives jamming in as many seats as humanly possible to ensure that you know how a sardine in a can feels. I am not sure why Air Canada feels justified in charging extra money for a bulkhead seat just so a customer can have a "normal" experience travelling. I would recommend every Air Canada exec goes for a ride on a Rouge Cattle Car to see how enjoyable it is."

Voordelen: "Comfort"

Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Entertainment system had good offers."
Nadelen: "Queuing in CDG was inefficient as was much of the airport experience at all sites (outside of PHL)."

Voordelen: "Nice plane and crew."

Voordelen: "Pretty standard flight...nice crew, free drink, left and arrived on time for the most part. Liked that I could check in early to arrange a seat."
Nadelen: "The seats could have been more comfortable. Had a couple knees in my back."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed, never given an explanation. My bag did not arrive with my flight from Victoria to Toronto. I was never told why this happened, and I was refused entry through customs and forced to miss my connecting flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing - I didn't end up going to Toronto."
Nadelen: "The flight was overbooked and I was forced to take a different flight. Ruined my plans in Edmonton that day. Last time I use air Canada."

Voordelen: "The pilot seemed good and the staff on the plane were nice overall"
Nadelen: "Customer service from the group staff that checked us in was horrendous... (Lisa from Chicago ). We were not aware one of us needed eTA to fly through Canada and the agent was so belittling, rude and plane wrong with her information, that if it had not for our smarts, we might have not made it to our destination. I do not spend so much money to fly with an airline, whose agents treat it me like this! She really should be fired for her terrible manners and for giving customers wrong information..the second supervisor we talked to helped us, but the impression we got from the agent was so terrible, that it was hard to feel any good...no food on a flight during lunch hour, seems unfitting."

Nadelen: "My bag did not make it. After dealing with this airline I was not surprised. They told me to call back in 3 days."

Nadelen: "AIr Canada lost my luggage and the return flight was late"

Voordelen: "I thought the crew was awesome. Very friendly, but the bathrooms definitely needed to be taken care of. SO dirty."
Nadelen: "TV wasn't working at all which made for a very long flight! Food selection ran out. I felt like the plane was old and outdated."

Voordelen: "On time. Comfortable plane"
Nadelen: "Extra security and customs checks changing planes in Canada"

Nadelen: "One man wanted me to check an empty carry on bag I travel for 10 years with this high quality foldable carry on bag, it is a tight in their test cradle because of the wheels but it does fit. Even a passanger offer me is support telling the agent he was not reasonable after getting the bag in and out 4 times he still wanted me to check the bag in ? After 10 min arguments he said ok put it on the floor ! I could of put 2 of my foldable bag on the top storage if I had 2.... it was a connecting from same airline a much smaller plane which accepeted the bag . Very unpleasant ! Some people like to feel in power."

Voordelen: "The food"
Nadelen: "The crew was absolutely terrible and very rude"

Voordelen: "Very pleasant flight; excellent entertainment options to while away the time. Excellent crew."
Nadelen: "I was held aside at the customs area and had a difficult time figuring out what was going on. Signage was less than helpful, and staff were unaware of why I was being held. After over 30 minutes during which the gate staff could only tell me to wait and watch for my initials on the electronic board, the staff learned that some bags on my arrival flight had been accidentally diverted to Canadian customs rather than US customs, and passengers could not proceed to connecting flights until our bags were located. The customer service staff then worked very hard on our problem. I was instructed to re-book my flight, since by now the doors were about to close - but that customer service person could not re-book me, and I had to queue up again for another agent. When I got to the desk, that agent was able to get me approved to board my flight sans bag, ran me to the front of the Immigration line, and got me to my gate in time to board. I deeply appreciate her assistance, as my family was already on the plane."

Nadelen: "After crossing in a 787 from Zurich this small older jet to Austin looked and felt like 15 years ago. Bathroom was bad for a 6'2" guy."

Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Voordelen: "Going through customs and immigration in Canada before returning to the US is very convenient and saves time after you land."

Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that because the flight from Bradley to Toronto was late I almost missed my Tokyo flight.. It would not have been such a big deal if I wasn't going all the way to-Tokyo. And had to go through customs. The commuter plane was delayed getting to Bradley. I got to Toronto, and again we had to wait on the tarmac. They knew we were coming and were late as it was. Canadian air also knew I had to catch a flight to Tokyo. I thought my connection times were to close and I was right. No one told me that I had to go through international customs. So, I was in the wrong place.When I made that discovery I literally ran to customs and asked to cut in line. Again I ran to get to the gate. They were boarding when I arrived. Why I say did you put me through all that when it was avoidable? Then on the way back after a 14 hour flight I had a 6 hour delay to get back to Hartford. Why was that I ask? The same thing happened last year. And you didn t fix it yet? Nightmare. And lets not even talk about the food on the plane. I make sure I eat before the flight if I have time.In this case there was no time. I also had to change flight dates. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours on hold. Only to be told that I was calling the wrong place. So, that's my Air Canada experience. Some sort of cash or check rebate should be in order. Not a voucher to fly with them again."

Nadelen: "on march 13/ 2016 booked my tickets on kayak.com so end up getting it with vayama.on july 28 missed my flight for a family raison called vayama and explained the situation they said they will help me just they need to confirm with the airlines (air canada) and they will give me new tickets.no body called me back ,called air canada said: we have ticket but you need to get it from vayama.called vayama again he said sorry about that i will let everyone know and he promise me that i will get help a.s.a.p.did't hear from them left with my wife and two kids in morocco for a week end up buying new tickets from laufthansa"

Nadelen: "Delayed on Tarmac for 2 hours, one rude flight attendant. Took 4 hours for bags to come to arrival due to cancelled flight. No good communication"

Voordelen: "Not refunds, no voucher, no credits .... But still s stupid fee of U.S 200 to pay on my Next flight using same booking Code . RIDICULOUS !! Guess other airlines want my business and my friends' too.."

Nadelen: "Simple mistakes which could and should have been avoided made us late. The food and drink service should not have been a charge on such a long flight."

Voordelen: "Good onboard entertainment"
Nadelen: "Overhead cabin extremely small compare to US planes"

Nadelen: "After paying for a business One-Way.. the flight was canceled abruptly without any forewarning. There was the a line of 50-75 ppl with one attendant working. It took me nearly 3 hours to get anyone's attention, and finally told i was 'lucky' to get on a flight the next morning, after missing a Wedding dinner. I was also forced to pay 2x cab rides to the airport. Thanks Air Canada"

Voordelen: "Initially I chose Air Canada because the price was better than United. But the hassle was not worth it."
Nadelen: "Rouge plane was dirty. Flight attendants gave incorrect information regarding immigration forms that caused us problems after landing."

Voordelen: "The entertainment/media center. The built-in digital movie, TV, music center was excellent! It was the only redeeming aspect of the flight. NOTE: one person in our party had a faulty unit that the volume went out of control when the crew spoke - she stopped using it as a result"
Nadelen: "The least comfortable flight I've taken for a long trip. My family complained constantly also, including my daughter that travels for pleasure more than I do. The seats seem impossible to get comfortable in. I'm 6 feet tall and 175 lbs and the seat is too narrow to try to do anything that sit up straight. The angle of the seat to the bottom of the seat in front make it difficult to find a comfortable position. Once I got my legs under the seat in front of me my own seat pad pushed into my thighs limiting the blood flow. The flight attendants on the flight there and the flight back seemed like they hated their job. Never cracked a smile and seemed to be trying to make it through their chores. They ALL seemed unhappy and stressed. The food was the worst we've ever had on any flight, domestic or international. The sandwich for lunch was TERRIBLE. Out of 5 people none of us finished it. We tore most of the puffy odd bread off of it which left the meat which lacked any discernible flavor - making it taste fake. Having visited a couple of 3rd world countries on this flight we felt more at risk of eating bad food on the airline than on the streets of Hanoi. First and last time we'll fly Air Canada."

Nadelen: "My tv did not work, the crew was not overly friendly and I was disappointed that for a 5 hr flight there was not even a snack. For the price of the ticket I expected better service"

Voordelen: "I had not paid attention to know this was going to be such a tiny plane - 18 seats! Transborder flight, 1:20 hours, single seats so both window and aisle, two fantastic pilots (no flight attendants) who did everything, young, friendly and in charge, smooth trip, and I was in seat 2 and looking directly ahead seeing the pilots' view! I didn't need snacks or other entertainment. Will not hesitate to take this flight / Air Canada / small planes again."
