I was able to move back to my original seat once in the air, but there was no forewarning of this even with advanced purchased tickets. Just a hassle since this flight was long and all I wanted to do was get some rest."

Nadelen: "I requested a chicken meal and I told the steward that I would wait because he did not have anymore at that moment. He never came back until it was time to pick up trash. I proceeded to tell him I never got the main course, he apologized and told me that there was only an egg entree left. I went ahead and took it, then as a way to apologize he offered to get me a piece of fruit, a banana. I accepted but he never came back with it. It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

Nadelen: "They claimed they have free WiFi, but this is not true. Passengers has to pay if they want access to WiFi. Uncomfortable sitting and you cannot adjust it to a comfortable level. Crew keeps demanding sit need to be upright."

Nadelen: "There was not enough tome to catch my connecting flight and I had to stay in the airport an additional 6 hours and had to stay the night in the hotel and then get to Portland on another airline 21 hours later than planned."

Our bags arrived at baggage claim about the same time we got there. I would definitely fly with Virgin Atlantic again."

Nadelen: "The booking process and paying for luggage is disappointing. Plus, I paid a $90 upgrade and just moved up two rows in the same section. Sneaky."

Voordelen: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"

Nadelen: "During my flight from LAX to LHR I requested (pre-booked) a special meal (Asian Vegetarian). During the flight I was told there was no such request in their records and therefore I had to stay hungry for the entire duration of the flight. During my return flight from LHR to LAX the in flight entertainment system for my seat was not functional. I requested it to be reset several times and in spite of the hostess resetting it several times, it did not function. I had to stay without an entertainment system during the entire flight. This was my first time travel with Virgin Atlantic. I may never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

Voordelen: "The crew were very friendly, and helpful. I also liked that the exit row that I was given had more than enough leg room, the dinner was really good for airplane food and snacks were great also. The attendant that I had for my section also told me that all food and drinks were free so they gave me a few extra adult drinks here and there which is a plus for how long the flight was going to be. The movie selection is great also having some on there that are still in theaters is a huge plus."
Nadelen: "The boarding process seemed way out of order, they made so many mistakes and nobody knew what to do, then you have the pushy passengers that are sitting coach getting mad that you're boarding before them. Breakfast left me wanting something else, lets just say this if you are given the choice of something vs french toast, take the something."

Think you have names backwards on survey."

Nadelen: "I was very disappointed that even though I booked through Virgin Australia when their partner Delta didn't get us to LA on time from Minneapolis, Virgin Australia said its Deltas fault, talk to them. They were not going to help."

Great conditions for economy class.good leg room...I give them a 5 star rating ... I only wish they would do more flights to other countries overseas ..."

Nadelen: "My seat wouldnt recline properly. There were limited food options for non pork eaters. No outlets for power. How can you operate an international flight with nothing provided for those who need to charge their devices after some time. Not a smart design move."

Voordelen: "reservations easy to make (like most other airlines) A water bottle, blanket, headset & sleep kit on each seat. Seats were not so close together in coach that your knees were against your chin if the guy in front of you put his seat back. The planes I was on To/from LAX-BNE felt very spacious because of the interior height. 2 free checked bags."
Nadelen: "The food was mediocre--doughy stuff for both meals Not very tasty. The entertainment selection was nowhere near as good as on other airlines. Very Australia-heavy music, old films & TV shows available, as well as some new ones. But no live TV channels, not even current news."

Voordelen: "The space you have with your legs is sufficient and the chairs are very comfortable. The food was really nice. I enjoyed the trip, although it was a long one."

Her fellow agent seemed like she wanted to apologize for her capricious behavior, but was understandably hesitant to do so. The airplane seating was cramped and uncomfortable. The rntertainment choices were very limited unless you enjoy superhero movies or a very limited range of audio/musical selections. So it goes in coach class."

Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Nadelen: "I had a 14 hour layover in istanbul airport. Arrived at midnight and flight wasn’t until 2 pm the next day. I just assumed that they would give me a hotel. Come to find out thats wasnt the case when I landed. Given all kinds of reasons/excuses. The guy at the transfer desk told me”you should have known that your layover was this long since you booked it”. Will have second thoughts about flying Turkish again. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Might stick with Emirates or Qatar."

Nadelen: "Le manque de sollicitude pour établir le billet pour la connexion IST YUL, suite à la non connaissance du nouveau contrôle AVE pour les entrées au Canada."

Nadelen: "I contacted Turkish Airlines 4x times before my flight to learn how to deal with excess medical baggage, mobility assistance, and meal assistance. The Customer Call Center claimed to have made all of my necessary reservation updates for all of my special meal, medical, and mobility assistance needs. They did not! When I arrived at Check-In, there were no notes about any of my requests, nor services prepared to facilitate them. I spent over 30-45 minutes escalating the situation to the Shift Manager who had to contact the central call center and her own manager, just to find out what to do about medical baggage, what's permitted, etc. I was embarrassed for their employees, who not only didn't know their own company policy on the matter, nor were they aware of the industry standard. After much arguing, yelling and threats, the Check-In desk agents finally allowed my excess medical baggage and equipment without extra charge. I still received no mobility assistance to begin my travel after Check-In to my departure gate, nor were they prepared to offer this to me in Istanbul. Again, after a long wait, much yelling, screaming, and arguing, I was finally provided mobility assistance just in time for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to Turkish Airlines not putting my request in the system, nor caring enough about the traveler to do so at Check-In. When I arrived in Belgrade, 3x pieces of my luggage were destroyed and unusable again, medical equipment was damaged, and I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. They tried every way possible not to pay, but finally offered a meager claim, nothing close to what it cost for the damage caused or to repair or replacement the destroyed luggage or medical equipment. Turkish Airlines is the Grey Hound of travel, sure they might be large, offer many itineraries and frequent travel, but their quality, customer service and professionalism leave them amongst the bottom feeders, still 3rd world in mentality, form and function. No honor, no integrity, no class. No reason to ever fly with Turkish again, and I'm happy to tell everyone I know not to fly with them!"

They didn’t even try to take the time to find me a sooner flight because there were other upset customers waiting. So disappointed on how poor the help desk at Turkish airline."

There is NO comfortable seat position with that footrest. Every Economy passenger would be much better served if the footrests were completely removed."

Nadelen: "I had a pillow of my own and so it didn't matter too much, but I noticed the lack of a pillow on this early morning flight."

Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Voordelen: "Boarding was tedious with like 6 checks of your passport but being safe is never a bad thing. No cost alcohol is always a plus and the food was good. Staff was super nice and accommodating."
Nadelen: "I intentionally chose an empty row but people kept shuffling. so many folks were standing blocking aisles. I think staff could do a better job to prevent that."

Voordelen: "When we couldn't fly United (due to cost) we were not sure what to expect from Turkish Airlines since we didn't know anyone who had flown it before. It was very pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed the flight. We felt like we received first class treatment in the economy section of the plane. From warm hand towels, beautiful menus for meals and beverages available, a toiletry bag and much more. The inflight entertainment was awesome. Love the large screen and the touch screen abilities. So many great choices."
Nadelen: "The temperature of the cabin changed drastically from being very hot to very cold in a short matter of time. The boarding process was also not organized well at all as we lined up in our groups, but people did not follow this so although we were group A, somehow people from lower groups were boarding before us. The seats were a bit hard."

Nadelen: "De crew, onvriendelijk en bot. Geen verwelkoming, geen bedankt en tot ziens. Het eten werd op je tafeltje gegooid. Niet wat je verwacht op een Lufthansa vlucht."

Nadelen: "vanwege de enorme rijen bij de veiligheidscontrole was ik te laat voor mijn vliegtuig. schandalig!"

Voordelen: "Je suis allergique à la moutarde et aux à l’avance d’en faire part sur le site d’enregistrement. J’ai tenté d’appeler mais après avoir perdu 20 minutes j’ai abandonné. Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."
