Nadelen: "I never received anything about my booking. I went the airport Wednesday morning not knowing if I’d actually fly out. I only had on my Kayak app a trip itinerary. Thankfully I did. In Atlanta I added my Skymiles # to my trip. Upon arrival in Mexico I rec’d a push from Delta about my trip with my Record Locator. Flying home was to depart at 8am. When I rec’d my boarding pass it stated 8:55am. While waiting at my gate Delta sent me a text at 7:30am that my flight would be leaving at 8am. That confused me. Needless to say I was suppose to arrive CVG at 3:49pm, but instead was booked on a flight departing Atlanta at 4:30pm. Plans at home had to changed for Friday evening as I was not arriving at mid-afternoon. Needless to say I’ll probably not book thru Kayak anymore."

Voordelen: "Delay. First it was about 20 min, then 30, then 49 and 55. At the end more than 70 minutes delay. Too much, too frequent on delta!!!!"

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Insufficien/inappropriate food ( BEEF Prevented choices ) - Eliminate beef from your food choices. Many people like me can eat Non vegetarian meals like chicken, fish , EXCEPT BEEF Ran out of the Salmon fish dish. I was given a snacking cheese sandwich instead! This would not have happened if you had selected other than a beef dish! Cramped seating. The airlines greed shows in picking out the seat placement design. The plane had extremely limited knee room. I'm five foot five inches tall and my knees were almost touching the seat in front."

Nadelen: "I missed my connecting flight in Turkey as flight was delayed. It was my worst flight experience because nobody wanted to help me. It took an hour of being ignored by various TA staff to eventually get my boarding pass to the next available flight to London. I nearly missed that one as well because of it. The staff in Turkey was rude and unhelpful and most didn’t understand English properly. There were a number of others having the same issues, it was an awful experience."

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Nadelen: "The seat I was in (37 H) was awful, if felt much more cramped than the flight to Macedonia. I felt like I was crammed into a sardine can. The boarding process in Vienna was a joke; the economy seats were all boarded at once; in effect a mass of humanity all rushing toward the gate."

Voordelen: "It was better with the earache, plane felt cleaner, the crew was more friendly and attentive. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight."
Nadelen: "The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

Nadelen: "We are regularly taking this flight for end of the year snd in summer. For no reasons whatever if it is in France or in Vienna, the flight is delayed of minimum 2 hours! It was the case once more the case. And all without communication as it is normal! And it looks like this is normal as the flight from yesterday was also leaving at 19h05. This is a joke."

Nadelen: "Collation non adaptée au menu spéciaux demandés (vegan)"

Nadelen: "L’aéroport de Vienne qui ne dispose d’aucune aide pour les transferts : il faut trouver les panneaux bien cachés dans un labyrinthe... et 2 contrôles des bagages durant le transfert alors que nous arrivions d’un vol international."

Voordelen: "The Swiss Air staff provided water and nice sandwiches for us while we stood in line for hours and put us up in a very nice hotel for the night."
Nadelen: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Voordelen: "The flight staff was very attentive, professional, and polite. It seemed like they were always bringing the passengers things like snacks and drinks. We never felt like we needed anything. This was my first time flying to Europe and flying with Swiss. I will definitely choose them again!"
Nadelen: "I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like!"

Voordelen: "Friendly staff with great service"

Nadelen: "Lufthansa’s/Austrian Airlines’s idea of a ‘snack’ is a pathetic little bag of sugar and chemicals that no one should have to be offered, even if it comes for free. Hugely disappointed. Flight attendants not attentive enough."

Nadelen: "No snacks on flight of 12h 20min?! I was offered the appetizer (pretzel or biscuit - both of 14gr of product inside). This is unacceptable - overseas flights have to have some snacks No eye mask or ear plugs, nor socks for economy class Outdated entertainment"

Voordelen: "Crew was great. Comfortable in terms of airline travel. Entertainment selection was spectacular given the long flights and the fact I was with three kids. Really pleased!"
Nadelen: "Food was ok, not great."

Nadelen: "We were almost three hours late on arrival. Being at VIE airport after midnight with no buses going home is no fun."

Voordelen: "boarding/deplaning relatively quick. plenty of leg room in emergency row seat"
Nadelen: "only provided ONE meal on an 11 hour flight?? how is that ok? people were very hungry. when i asked about that, the disinterested flight attendants tried to convince me that they had in fact provided “two services” -they apparently think a small packet of crackers counts as dinner. shortly before landing they served a stale ham sandwich (8 hours after the only meal). Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall."

Voordelen: "Everything was at the good level. Professional people to work with."
Nadelen: "Not enough room for overhead bags. Had to put mine in the front of the plane while I sat at the back of the plane. What I really didn't like is that I called Kayak to include my Global Entry number on my boarding pass. They said it would be there and when I printed it, it wasn't. So coming back into the states and thru customs took waaay longer than it should have with those chaotic and ridiculously long lines. I didn't bring my Global Pass card with me and will from now on!"

Nadelen: "They cancel the flight without letting me know!"

Nadelen: "I was at the back of the plane with the constant cold air breeze, it was impossible to avoid!. I caught heavy cold and still recovering!"

Voordelen: "Got to destination safe and sound and was thankful for that!"
Nadelen: "Boarding was messy. Food was ick- "chicken" tasted like a grade d boiled chicken nugget, terrible texture. Ladies on flight were kind, although not terribly helpful. Movie selection was pretty small and lots of Rated R movies, hard to find anything in the middle (not kids, but not adult)."

Voordelen: "The crew were great! The seats are not that comfortable, it happened that I had 3 seats raw for myself but the armrests were not going up so I could not utilize them and lie down to sleep."

Nadelen: "Free wifi"

Nadelen: "The airline lost my suitcase and deliver it only 72 hours later... They refused to give me proper compensation for items that were broken..."

Voordelen: "Great atmosphere, crew was excellent!"
Nadelen: "I’m 6’5”, so legroom can always be a complaint, but this wasn’t too bad. The plane appeared to be fairly old and didn’t have WiFi. Entertainment also was on an older screen which was navigated by using an old in-seat phone."

Voordelen: "KLM are our airline of choice. A great full-service carrier with impecable standards."

Nadelen: "La classe business sur ce type de vol n’a rien de business si ce n’est d’être à l’avant de la cabine."

Voordelen: "One crew member was very good but all were not very available or checking on people. I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Voordelen: "Comfortable seat, friendly crew. Crew were conscious of recycling which I like a lot as there is so much waste on flight. Anything we can do to reduce waste is very welcome."
Nadelen: "Food wasn't very appetizing, pasta didn't have much flavor and I don't eat red meat so the other choice wasn't an option for me."

Voordelen: "The earphones for out two seats only worked intermittently, but the Purser, Lee-Ann handled it professionally and pleasantly. That was the only disappointment in an otherwise pleasant flight"

Nadelen: "Food had only vegetarian choices. No charging place and ambiance was noisy"

Nadelen: "KLM lost my luggage during the layover. My luggage didn't arrive even after the next flight to Prague. Customer service wouldn't give me any idea what flight my luggage would arrive on, nor would they tell me what time my luggage might be delivered to me."

Nadelen: "KLM staff in the Prague airport were some of the rudest humans I have ever met. So incredibly uncaring and outright mean."

Voordelen: "Boarding was as expected, crew & food were ok. Nothing else positive to extract out of this flight."
Nadelen: "Delayed flight, horrible baggae policy when the flight is actually operated by a partner of the company you bought the ticket from and not the actual company. Dirty seats, no in-flight entertainment whatsoever (not even a magazine)."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"
