Nadelen: "On a 13-hour flight, the video center is your main source of not losing your mind. Truly disappointing when you pay for the extra leg room in an exit row and you can’t watch any videos. Unfortunately, the ICE video center was broken on the way to Dubai also. In addition, the flight crew lets people stand around in front of you which reduces the extra leg room you pay a hefty price for. What’s the point of charging over $700 for this added “luxury” on each of your flights from JFK to Male, Maldives when you can’t use it. Emirates is nice, but didn’t reach the expectations they set."

Nadelen: "Boarding in Brussels is always a hassle. The plane is never ready for boarding and one has to wait long time to access the plane. They start boarding but do not open the doors of the plane so everybody has to wait long in the tunnel to access the plane. It would be better not to start boarding."

Voordelen: "The crew are very friendly and helpful. There was a variety of entertainment options, with recent films, tv shows and music options to keep you busy. I also thought the food options were good, too. You didn't go too long without being asked about a new beverage or meal, pretty satisfying."

Nadelen: "Everything else was not close to other comparative airlines. Food was horrible. Just FYI, cottage cheese is not the only food for Asian vegetarians. There actually are many other options. Not enough options for entertainment. The seats for economy class were way too crammed. With the growth in technology, it would be helpful to have a USB port to charge. ELL phones."

Nadelen: "We lost an item and while we are in airport waiting for next flight even though we know it would have got recovered by airport staff there is no way of getting it back unless we download a form online , print , fill the form and sign , scan and send it in email to lost and found team. This is unlikely and complex process for anyone while in airport to get access to print, scan etc. we wish this was more simpler process Cabin was too cold and staff deny bluntly to make any adjustment saying some other set of passengers complained that cabin is warm.. I have not seen anyone who could sit around with out blanket on them and we had to get double blankets and wrap ourselves in there"

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "- Very noisy and old airplane - Since it's old, the legroom in economy was poor and the business class was looking like it was built in the 80s. It was really cramped even in the business class - If you bring your own headphones, make sure they're noise cancelling since it's noisy on the plane - And if you bring your own headphones, you need those old 2 pin style connectors as well. The ones that Ethiad give you are super low quality. - Screen resolution on those screens is really bad, you can view every pixel on the screen and brightness doesn't go all the way up either."

Voordelen: "I was impressed they gave us a full meal for only a 3.5 hr fought"
Nadelen: "Crew was a little rude"

Nadelen: "Due to the delay of the first flight, I had to run until my heart aches to catch my second flight in time. Not many people spoke English"

Voordelen: "That there was a vegetarian meal on the second leg of my travel. And that the journey is over. Besides that, not much"
Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Voordelen: "Though I missed the Outbound flight, was given a seat on the next available flight and offered a free meal in the airport. Seating was very comfortable."
Nadelen: "In-flight WIFI was very slow and felt a bit expensive. Boarding was a bit unorganized, but OK. Food was average and with no variety."

Voordelen: "US immigration was a breeze at Abu Dhabi. Online check in was not working. Abu Dhabi airport had a lot of options for passengers in transit. Flights were on time."
Nadelen: "Food was terrible on the flight. Baggage was not handled properly."

Voordelen: "The Airbus A321 flight was much more comfortable than the 1st leg. The service again was good"

Nadelen: "I have checked my baggage allowance for this trip when I first paid and it was 2 checked in bags. However, I had to pay additional 185 Euros for adding my second checked in bag."

Nadelen: "Same food both time! All mixed! No one passes water or pick up trash"

Nadelen: "The restrooms were not clean and stinky."

Nadelen: "The food was not good and our flight attendant was not attentive. He didn’t make the people in front of us put their seats back up for landing. There were no blankets when we requested one."

Voordelen: "Crew was friendly. Even though we were redirected to a new gate/plane and had half hour delay, our plane arrived on time."
Nadelen: "Was stuck next to an overweight lady who was sitting partially in my seat and crowding me. My gate was changed and we were redirected to a ghetto looking area for the gate. My luggage was not delivered along with my flight and I had to file complaint to get it delivered. It caused lots of hardship as I had no way of contacting my family to let them know I had arrived and was safe. They were all worried when I didn't come out of the airport at Hyderabad in a timely manner since I traveled alone due to an emergency."

Nadelen: "Though happy there was kids meal provided seeing pasta in all 3 meals not very appetizing. Sweet side dish were mediocre at best. There were no snack available or provided for kids except the meal box. When requested milk for my kid some milk from flask was given which I was not comfortable giving to my son.. there were other issues but my sons comfort was the most Concerning"

Nadelen: "The entire menu was southern Indian with very strong spices and awful taste. I can understand that there are a lot of Indians on the flight but Etihad should have options for non Indian dishes as only Indians would have a taste for what was served. Very bad experience for our entire family."

Nadelen: "Baggage ground staff behavior is very bad..Not allowed me to carry stuff which I purchased inside the airport..will never travel and will also request my company not to buy tickets through Eithad"

Nadelen: "We had a huge delay for security purposes. Which is OK, I am not giving mediocre ratings on that front. But instead because throughout the many, many hours that we were waiting for the plane to be rechecked, we were not offered even water. Throughout the waiting, it was the middle of the night and a lot of the food shops in the airport were not open. The crew knew that we were going to be waiting in the security area for many hours, even peanuts and water bottles would have been welcomed after the six hour delay."
