Voordelen: "The boarding process was easy and straightforward, the seats were comfortable and had individual entertainment screens, the crew was very polite and helpful. For meals, everyone was given a printed menu at the start of the flight so that meal options could be easily made."
Nadelen: "My only complaint is that I would have liked to see more frequent offers for water refills during the flight, since water cups are so small and staying well hydrated on flights is difficult but essential."

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Voordelen: "Check in and boarding were flawless. The flight left about one hour late. The seats in coach are getting smaller and smaller. I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

Voordelen: "Singapore is #1 in my books. So glad I could get on their airline. The flight was super. The economy cabin was really nice and comfortable. I especially liked all the adapter plug outlets to power my equipment. I just can’t say enough good things about the cabin crew. The Stewardess were very attractive in their uniforms and make-up, not like the old maids United and American has. The cabin crew were extremely helpful and nice. The service was impeccable. The meals were actually pretty good. Course all the alcoholic drinks available was nice. A person could get wiped out pretty easy if not drink responsibly. But not a good idea to drink much cause of the aftereffects after the flight."
Nadelen: "The headset ear plugs left a lot to be desired. I need to bring my own good set to enjoy the vast selection of music and shows available. My number 1 complaint was the outside row seat armrests would not move up. This makes getting out of the seat into the isle much more difficult than it has to be. Why does it have to be stationary?"

Voordelen: "For medium range flights SQ uses A330s. Business class is really OK, not great. Each passenger can freely choose any configuration of the seat without inconveniencing others. Food is great, both in presentation and taste, and serve with refined courtesy... I will gladly fly on this aircraft again on my way back."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system has literally hundreds of choices -- many, many movies for all tastes under the sky. But there is one drawback. Each movie starts, not when you are ready, but when the system is ready ; you cannot pause, resume it, no fast-forward..."

Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Nadelen: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."

Luckily we were upgraded during check in. Check in was awful, they checked in 4 people in front of us roughly in 20 minutes in MLE. It felt like waiting for forever."

Crew requires more training in upkeep of airplane on long-haul flights."

Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

Nadelen: "They had rotten food and didn't even tell us when serving would begin. Also they lost our luggage in spite of having our tag #. How does an airline not put a tag on a bag and give a bagage tag to a customer. ?? And after going on a cruise with one Carry on and everything Lost they don't even give us an allowance or a normal kit for toiletries and no one answers our questions. All the calls go to the call center that has no idea about how to track a bag. There are no managers to help and the customer service stinks"

Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Nadelen: "There was a disagreement about my hand luggage. At check in it was agreed I coukd take it on board even though it was 8.9 kilos. Just before security they said no. After going back and forwards it was agreed. No fault of the airline there were several infant children close to my seat. At times it was annoying"

Nadelen: "It’s an old flight with improper seats and seating arrangements ..flight has dull ambience.the food menu most of items were same as of my losangles abudhabi flight .."

Nadelen: "I got violently ill after getting off the flight. The only food I had in the last 24 hours had been from Etihad. I threw up for two days straight."

Nadelen: "The comfort for a long haul flight is never great, but the seats were exceptionally small and cramped (and I am a small person). The in flight internet I purchased but was unable to use after being charged for more that one email -- it went out and stayed out. $22 down the lost unless I can get refunded, which I have requested. If Etihad doesn't refund me, I will be taking it up with Paypal as well as other review sites and business channels."

Nadelen: "Major first flight to Abu Dhabi has been canceled. That took place around 5 hours. Then the whole journey has been rebooked and I reached the final destination after 10 hours of the previous schedule with lost baggage."
