They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

Snacks available for sale include potato chips and nuts. It's 2017 folks - up your game!"

Nadelen: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

We understand different airlines have different policies but we believe letting the elderly and families with little children should always have first priority... We as a family and with an elderly who is not 100% well have big challenges... It is always nice for other airlines to get us in earlier so the elderly and the little children can settle. This airline's policy is a shift for us. If not for the good price, we'd choose another... But it was just ok just a longer wait... Children and the elderly should always have the best benefit... Not the busiiness people.. Crazy policy!"
Nadelen: "Service was mediocre. Staff was nice but not very caring like other airlines and most were older women who are burnt out... Its almost like they don't want to be there. Food was excellent but there was a charge for red wine. This is Europe. Thought the US was bad... Economy class comfort is not that comfortable as always... o well! Your staff English especially the women announcers were terrible. We could not understand hardly anything. The pilots were a lot better! Need to take English classes.. Sorry but have to be honest..."

Trays with food stay forever on your table( slow service).on The 7hour long international flight you can hardly sleep because the food is at the awkward times and it's not cleaned up in forever afterwards. Not very friendly crew."

Voordelen: "The aircraft was a fairly new 737-800 ,nice and clean interior . The passenger entertainment system was very nice with USB charging at every screen,with brightness and volume controls. Inflight service was beverages , followed by hot meal ( 2 choices Chix or Beef ) hot beverages post meal followed by another beverage service pre landing."
Nadelen: "Because the Egyptians like it hot. The cabin temperature was really hot and the leather seats didn't help . It seemed like they did not have all the air pacts on .Very little airflow at the individual air vents. They prepare the cabin for landing way to early and you must have the window shades up which is painful with the hot sun beating on you through the window ( safety card is only so big)"

Nadelen: "Vegetarian food was poor. It was just boiled vegetables. Even the bread that was given to others was not there. They treated Vegetarian food as Vegan food (although it was specified as vegetarian), so there was no butter, no yogurt and nothing but boiled vegetables and fruit salad. Hard to sustain oneself with that on a 12 hour flight! I asked the flight attendant for yogurt who just ignored my request."

They took for ever to remove the trays after the meals that passengers were trying to take them out by themselves . They don't pass by with big bags to collect any garbage ."

Voordelen: "We hardly saw any member of the crew. They were in the back, in a closed area, chatting among themselves."

Nadelen: "All good but crew wasn't very attentive - for example i had had to put my suitcase quite a few rows back because of lack of space at the end of the flight i had to wait for most of the plane to empty out in order to be able to retrieve it - the crew member who had originally indicated i put my suitcase further back and who was standing right by the cabin where the suitcase was stored saw all of this but didn't move to help in the slightest even though he knew i was waiting for a chance to get to my suitcase - in my experience of customer service i would have gotten it for the passenger and brought it to them to reduce the wait time"

The warm meal and snack were better than your average over-sweet snack you get sometimes coming from Europe... We had a delay that may have impacted the food (if you keep warm food too long...)"

Nadelen: "Probably not the company fault, but my stroller was a little damaged when I got it at my destination."

Nadelen: "Check-in was a zoo. The agents were more interested in gossiping and were constantly on the phone or running in and out of their stations. It took nearly an hour to get through the 10 people ahead of us. And then we were told that my 1 bag would cost $53 to check-in and that I would have to go to another counter in a far away part of the airport to pay...and we had 20 minutes before boarding. Afger running to the cashier, we were told that she had no time and that we should go back to the agent to pay! We ran back and paid, then went to look for our gate. It was finally listed as Gate 12. We got though security ok and got into the line for Gate 12. It was more like a scrum tan a line. Nobod seemed to be doing anything when all at once we saw people boarding. We went to the gate but were told that our flight was boarding at Gate 10!!! WTF??? Gate 12 listed our flight number and Gate 10 listed another flight, but we did as were told and boarded via Gate 10. None of other passengers knew what the hell was going on but we all made it to Rome along with our baggage. We will NEVER fly Alitalia again."
Voordelen: "KLM Flying Blue App ( which I didn't get to use because they switch to Alitalia at check in)"
Nadelen: "KLM switched to Alitalia right at online check in time, which made things very confusing. Even the flight number changed. It would have helped if KLM would have let customers know this in advance."
Voordelen: "Crew was ok.."
Nadelen: "Legroom inside the aircraft is too small. Salted and sweet snack options including cookies. This is on a two hour flight. Very uncomfortable journey"
Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was good. Lots of choices. Plane was clean. Staff was friendly."
Nadelen: "We had only an hour for our connection. Ordinarily, this is enough time. However we had to go through passport control during the connection and we almost missed our flight. When traveling internationally, this should be considered. Rome airport (FCO) could do a better job of managing passengers with quick connections. It was a mess."

Voordelen: "pretty comfort seats, and they give u a neck pillow!"
Nadelen: "Food quality was awful, no entertainment whatsoever and the smallest seats I have sat on. Legroom is extremely tight"
Nadelen: "You lost my luggage!!!!!! Now I'm standing in a long line with other lost luggage people. Düsseldorf is not a large airport and there was ample connection time. Not the way I wanted to start my vacation. Instead of driving south now I'll be waiting at the airport all day On the flight the seat in front of me folded back all the way to my head! How does that happen?"
Voordelen: "The flight departed on time and arrived 35 minutes early. The flight crew was very helpful onboard."
Nadelen: "Tried to upgrade my elderly parents to more comfortable seats when checking in, but was told the flight was full and there were none available. It didn't appear that way after being boarded and seated."
Voordelen: "Not too much. Standard flight. They had ok wine I guess."
Nadelen: "Ancient planes. Had to use proprietary headphones, I thought they stopped doing that. No USB. Screens seemed 20 years old. It's 2017!"
Voordelen: "The crew was great. Very attentive"
Nadelen: "No entertainment. Food was ok. Seats not comfortable for business class."

Nadelen: "The service on board was really slow and not satisfying.. The food not as it used to be. I began flying your company about 40 years ago! What a change over the years!"
Nadelen: "flight was over 30 minutes late which is unacceptable for a 1:55 flight!!!!"
Nadelen: "My flight was cancelled and didnt get information from the hungarian ground staff about the reason. They just changed it for Austrian Airlines but I don't like Austrian Airlines and i had also an Insurance for this ticket. After a long conversation I could fly by Lufthansa with stopover in Frankfurt."
Voordelen: "80 euro return from MLA to Rome, including bags. A snack & drink provided. Beat ryanair hands down!"
