Nadelen: "The boarding gate was located much further than I remember for previous flights. And then we had to board shuttle buses to the plane, which made for an unpleasant boarding experience. Too many carry-on bags onboard meant no space for my bag in my allocated overhead bin. The plane seemed old and the seats were small and cramped. The entertainment systems kept shutting off in the beginning of the flight, and my screen was slightly unresponsive to touch. Not the best flight experience compared with what I'm used to and expect from Turkish."

Nadelen: "As expected, the plane and seats were okay (borderline mediocre). The food wasn't enough and the choices (rather the lack of) were poor. The seats could be better and not particularly comfortable for a long haul flight."

We were very upset since we have a wedding celebration scheduled and the airline showed no flexibility even in situations where the floght was delayed! They charged alot of mone to rebook for the next day"

Nadelen: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

Voordelen: "Charged me >$700 for missing a flight. This never happened earlier. Customer service girls are robotic: they just repeat the same lines. THY wasn't like this, something major has changed."

Manchester plane was delayed one hour, no problem, but I arrived in Istanbul at the right time and the gate was open I gave them my ticket. They told me that the sestem moved your seat to the second plane but now the plane is open. ? I waited 6 hours at Ataturk airport and had a working meeting I could not attend"

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us.The food was also mediocre."

Nadelen: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."

Nadelen: "2 hours delays from LAX to CDG then additional two hours delay from CDG to CAI, this is disappointing"

I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

Nadelen: "We were in the last few rows on a turbulent route. The yaw damper constantly overcorrected, resulting in lots of side to side motion for the passengers"

Nadelen: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Nadelen: "The interface of the screens seemed old Need to anticipate the needs of the customer better For example, they brought me my special meal first, but I had to wait 30 minutes later to get a drink to accompany it. The food was getting old. Did not see any newspaper/periodical selection. That would have been nice."

Nadelen: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Nadelen: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

The biggest problem is they were picking and choosing which bags they weighed. 10 people behind us and before us got in without incident. Plane wasn’t even half full so they were deliberately trying to make more $."

Voordelen: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Nadelen: "It was raining in Prague so I can understand that luggage is going to get wet. But when we opened our luggage at least half of our clothes were wet. It would seem that the luggage sat out for quite a while prior to departure for that much soaking of clothes. Fortunately we are staying in Paris for a few days and can get our clothes dried out."

Nadelen: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

Que du stress! Nous étions en état de choc, ils ont annulé notre billet à l’instant: l’aller et le retour!). Ce n’était pas du tout normal. Nous allons faire un recours, c’est inadmissible. Jamais plus avec British Airways."

Le problème est si que les correspondance indiqué au porte B, on perd au moins 20minutes avant de comprendre la solution. Alors on est stressé et on manque de ratter l'avion. C'est pourtant pas compliqué d'expliquer au passagers que l'on doit repasser par les portes A avant de retourner sur les portes indiquées sur les téléviseurs.."

We were Delayed, which is understandable, but not sure why we couldn't board and wait for crew to come on to speed up process rather than waiting for crew to arrive to even begin boarding process. I assume it's a safety thing but seems like there could be a better way to handle this and speed up process to make sure people aren't missing connecting flights."

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."

Nadelen: "AA did not update the flight status. My inbound flight was delayed due to weather but AA kept reporting the connecting flight as on time. I ended up making the connection with time to spare. If AA had reported the delayed departure I would have stopped for food. My bag did not make the connection."

No one at American want to help me out of this situation."

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "Your seats are too small even for a relatively small person. You should hire more flight attendants so that they are more available to help customers. We should be fed on flights of 6 hours long. American treats us like chattel and make flying unappealing."

Voordelen: "Not overcrowded or over booked. Efficient boarding process. Smooth flight."

Nadelen: "Everything was great! The Charleston airport is small yet very nice inside"

Voordelen: "Comfortable. Good entertainment and good service. Crew was nice"
Nadelen: "Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

Nadelen: "Despite plenty of empty seats, the ground personnel would not consider changing our seat assignment at the gate to allow us to sit together."

Nadelen: "I never received my luggage. I waited hours and Swissport never filed a report. I did see the Brussels flight I should have gone on did depart late. But as I was waiting for luggage and they gave me a hotel room I hadn’t checked the screen. I was most concerned of the person travelling to pick me up in Bordeaux as it is a journey for them as well"

Voordelen: "Loved the hindu vegetarian food. Incredibly tasty and I didn't expect it. No delays. All went smoothly."

Nadelen: "95% of my united flights are delayed. Today, they overbooked and asked for a volunteer. I did so and was offered a $1,500 compensation. Instead of 8:00, I would arrive at 11:00. I was very excited and patiently waited for the plane to board, so I coulD receive my new flight info. The flight is inevitably delayed, as it always is with this airline: I would have ended up missing my connection, so it seemed to work out well. However, they’re about to close the doors when the agent says “it’s not overbooked anymore” she gave me the option to so either get on that flight and wing it on my layover to find another flight, or go to Newark. But I needed to make a decision at that moment. The agent revoked the $1,500 because it was no longer overbooked and her demeanor immediately changed from The kind, accommodating agent she was when she needed me to give up my seat. She became short and rude. I got the last available seat because I was the last to board and was forced to check my bag because there was no more room. All because I was willing to change my travel plans. I get to my layover, and the earliest flight I could get would land at midnight with an additional layover. Oh! And the first class seat I was supposed to have on my second leg was not available. All of this was while I was seriously ill— throwing up, just wanting to be home. Honestly, I’ve never liked United. I constantly get over it, because it’s often the less expensive option. At this point, I am so sick of how they treat their customers, and their inability to depart on time. Last time I let them put me through this again."

Voordelen: "1. We booked seats together then when I checked in they had moved my seat and we were no longer sitting together. And then I couldnt get the window seat I had paI'd for :( 2. No boarding announcement and the "gate" was under construction so was a madhouse to board. 3. The crew member put her sweater in my food and pushed the coffee so hard to the person next to me it spilled all over him. To be fair she did apologize for throwing coffee on him. 4. The TV screens were so old you had to push the "touch" screen so your headrest kept moving if the person behind you couldn't decided what to watch... and then hard to watch anything yourself. The food was nasty."
Nadelen: "See above. I didn't like anything, this might have been the worst flight I've ever had to Brussels. I thought I booked a European carrier, but ugh it was actually United. They only care about business class and first class."
