They then said we were no shows and cancelled all our remaining flights with no refund. This ended up costing us around $3000. We don't have this kind of money and I don't know how we will pay rent next month."

Nadelen: "Flight from NY to Thessaloniki had a medical emergency. Plane was diverted to Manchester Airport in England to help patient on flight. This caused over 3.5 hour late arrival into Istanbul. This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Missed Flight: The flight from Istanbul to Athens was posted as delayed. We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

NOWHERE we were told we had to be at check in prior to an hour before the flight. Made it there 6 minutes after that "hour" check mark and were unable to make the flight. Tried to rebook and was told to pay the $800 per ticket that we already paid. Who has that kind of money? Guess I'll see if she can settle for sea world or the damn beach instead of Egypt like she wanted to. Thanks for nothing. For absolutely nothing."

Nadelen: "-S'enregistrer dans les trente heures en ligne avant le vol au risque de devoir prendre un autre vol, le lendemain m'a été proposer pour ma part. -Repas pas à mon goût et léger au niveau des portions mais je ne peux leur reprocher ma complexité sur ce point. -Pas d'électronique fonctionnel à bord, ni écran ni radio, donc 8h40 à se regarder entre nous heureusement j'avais de quoi travailler à bord (prenez de quoi vous occupez) -Bref, plus d'Air France pour ma part car c'est la seconde fois que je voyage avec cette compagnie et la première fois j'avais aussi regretté car c'était pire retard, avion sale, malgré mon enregistrement en ligne et la reservation de mon siège on m'a fait changé deux fois de siège, donc pas de troisième tentative pour moi, je privilègerais ma compagnie habituelle car après plus de cinq vols je n'ai jamais rencontrer de couac."

Si pas de désistement nous devront prendre le vol du lendemain, réduisant de beaucoup la durée de notre week-end ! Dédommagement refusé car d 'après Aii France nous n' é tonnes pas prévu sur le vol de 16h alors que nous avuons nous billets électroniques."

Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."

Nadelen: "Les agents tap de l’aeroport de Dakar m’ont fait manquer mon vol par non assistance et désinformation totale. Ils n’ont aucun professionnalisme et limite ils t’insultent. Je suis sénégalaise mais je suis très déçue du comportement des agents à l’aéroport de Dakar. La plus grosse déception de ma vie"

Voordelen: "First off I'd never heard of this airline but that was ok because we (group travel) were originally booked on another aiine I'd never heard if before either called Nirwegian. Well less than 24 hrs before we were scheduled to fly out, the exact same day, they cancel our flight! After a lot of phone calls and wait times we were booked onto TAP AIR PORTUGAL. Easy check in, my carry on was great, entertainment was on point, food was good (first European trip), crew was nice, plane was huge; just a good experience overall. I will definitely fly with them again."

Nadelen: "We had to pay $200 each way to check in a luggage and just pick regular seats. That was not clear when we bought tickets. Additionally, they don't announce the gate until 30min before boarding. If you're going through passport control that can be a 45min process. On top of that even though I paid $100 to reserve seats, when we arrived at the gate the seats we reserved weren't reserved. Why did I just pay $100?! Luckily I had receipts. Our connecting flight was delayed 4 hours, making our layover 7 hours! For an hour flight. This is the worst airline."

Instead of going through security over here lets have you wrap around the hallway to just have to come back to where you were before?"

Nadelen: "One flight attendant condescending but she seemed to disappear after takeoff and the other ladies were excellent"

Nadelen: "This plane seemed older not as spacious or as clean as planes on Ethiopian I've traveled on before. Horrible film selections, and it's the same coming and going."

Nadelen: "The movie screen (attached to the ceiling) was broken and throught the duration of the 2h30 minute flight, mechanically lowered and raised itself nonstop, making a constant disturbing grinding noise"

Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing. The plane was hot, stuffy and very uncomfortable. The food was terrible and the staff was rude."

Nadelen: "My flight was only for refugees and was delayed by 8 hours, however airport staff did not have it on their manifest, and Ethiopian never informed me of status. I just sat in the airport all night until I eventually got frustrated and went home. The airline had no idea I was in the airport and no Ethiopian staff were present to speak with. When I and my family called Ethiopian, they hung up on us, at least 6 times. This was my worst experience ever and I will never fly Ethiopian airlines again."

Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "The flight schedule was changed and despite contacting Ethiopian multiple times, they did not comprehend the problem. I was scheduled from Dar to Blantyre to Lilongwe then to Blantyre AGAIN, my obvious final destination. Luckily the crew at Malawian Airlines allowed me off the plane early and edited my booking for the return journey efficiently and easily."

Voordelen: "Comfortable. Crew excellent. On time. Efficient on boarding and landing - good information throughout"
Nadelen: "Addis Ababa airport very crowded with no seat available for five hour stopover. Food outlets limited"

Nadelen: "Toilets always get messy because there are many people flying for the first time and some using a public toilet (or even flush toilet) for first time ever. They need instructions in the bathroom for how to use the toilet, how to keep it clean, how to dispose of trash, how to flush toilet paper, etc. If fly all over the world, but every time I fly from Africa it's the same mess, regardless of airline. Simple instructions would help - they cannot assume all of their clients have used flush toilets when over 80% of Africans do not have them."

Voordelen: "Not much. Will not fly them again."
Nadelen: "Poor service, poor airport facilies, old aircraft, very limited entertainment, fool was tasteless"

Voordelen: "They need to make the seating more comfortable especially with such looong flights!"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The food was horrible. My TV didn't work and although I asked for it to be reset several times, the crew kept forgetting. The flight was supposed to be 9 hours, but we left late and it was 11+ hours. I understand things happen, but the crew gave no explanation for the delay or elongated flight. Last, but not least, when we landed in Newark we waited 2 hours for our luggage to come out. We landed at 9:50pm and didn't receive our baggage until 11:50pm. My friend and I were not even the last to get our bags. Overall this was the worst flight experience I've ever had."

Nadelen: "My daughter's entertainment system crashed after 20 minutes. She ended up sleeping so I watched a movie. When she woke up, we were going to switch seats, but I tried to turn it back on and mine wasn't working. (By the end of the flight, only maybe 10-20% were using theirs as many others crashed as well.) The food was very boring. At one point I was looking for a flight attendant and couldn't find a single one anywhere in coach."
