Nadelen: "Our flight was delayed at least 5x. We started getting delays around 1pm but our flight wasn’t scheduled to leave until 7pm. We were on a connecting flight so it was no chance of making the second leg of our flight. I used an AA discount to get a room in Charlotte but we didn’t get to the airport until almost 2am so I had called to cancel that hour before making it to Charlotte but was told I may still be charged for the room even tho at this point it was outta my control. It would be great if the airline took care of giving you shelter when you are stuck in limbo with no reason behind while you are stuck. American is a good airline but they seriously dropped the ball this trip."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed by two hours leaving Fort Lauderdale. As a result of that delay I miss my connecting flight to Palm Springs. I was rebooked for a flight to smile Palm Springs the next day which I did not except. Then I was booked to leave Dallas to Los Angeles that flight was delayed also. To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way."

The lady at the check in counter said they were weighing everyone’s at the gate so there was no way to get around it This however was a lie and they were not checking weight and people got on without having to pay the outrageous fee"

Mais impossible de retrouver la trace sur mon mail de confirmation. Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."

Instead, they rebooked us on the next day's flight a full 24 hours after, refusing to rebook us on earlier flights on other carriers. Their customer service was as bad as I've ever experienced. Voordelen: "I was on a 7 hour flight and the TAP airline service was very good. I had requested a vegan meal and they were able to accommodate me with no problem. Also they had a great selection of movies."
Nadelen: "I didn’t like that all the soap dispensers in both bathrooms were empty the whole flight. But good thing for the wet naps they offered and antibacterial I had in my purse."

Voordelen: "The check-in and boarding process and time was great and quick, respectively. And the crew was quite friendly and courteous. Also, our luggage was waiting for us once we deplaned (could be due to low level of travellers)."

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Nadelen: "We were sitting in the exit row 27 and it was extremely cold to the point where my 79 year old dad had to put on a sweater and a jacket for it to be barely tolerable. "we froze". After numerous requests to raise the temperature we gave up."

Nadelen: "Seats were so u comfortable. If the person in front of you put seat back, it's literally on your face. Seats are too closely packed. So flying 3hours with an uncomfortable seat upright isn't pleasant at all."

Nadelen: "When checking in, the flight attendant randomly checked sizes of carry-on baggage and forced us to pay extra to check a clearly carry on sized bag, which we have used on at least 50 flights previously as a carry on without ever an issue. On the flight, there were countless carry on bags clearly larger than ours which were allowed on the flight. We soon realized there was not enough room for all the carry on baggage and so they randomly chose us to pay extra since baggage would have to be checked anyways. It was unfair, biased, and classless. Shame on you Air Canada."

Voordelen: "Managed to be on a big plane with leg room. So paid cheap and didn't have to compromise on anything."

Nadelen: "I would like to see planes getting boarded from the back to the front. That way there are less people holding up traffic and you are not bumping someone who is already seated as you are going by."

Nadelen: "boarding was very painful , stood in line for over a hour to check suitcase . by time luggage was checked and i went through security the plane was boarding. i found luggage was damaged after i returned home. i then had to spend hours on chat to report damage and get a ref number, i then had to drive back to the airport for someone to see the damage and give me paper work. i now have to drive to thornhill to bring suitcase to see if can get repaired. plus i had to pay for parking at the airport. no satisfied with air canada at all."

Nadelen: "Made me and other passengers stand in line for an hour with no one in the counter to help and none of the employees knows anything,almost missed the flight."

Voordelen: "They weigh every little carry on even little backpacks. My Dad who is 83 had very hard time since he had one pound over. Max weigh you can in your carry on is 22 pound. Extremely money hungry Air Line. I would avoid at any cost."

Nadelen: "Most uncomfortable seating that one can have. I will never fly rouge again."

Voordelen: "Flight attendant was snarky to my uncle when asked how come they did not have their prebooked seats together. Her reply was something along the lines of "you can take another flight" and then she walked off, not offering any other solution."
