New Istanbul airport is not fully ready for passengers. In some toilets weren’t water and papers. Very long walking distance till passport control area, we walked about 20 minutes."

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "A Lousy airline. Also for Americans: They don't issue visas to allow the passenger who lost their flight to go to a hotel. They stated that there was a diplomatic problem between Turkey and the US so they don't issues visas anymore to Americans. STAY AWAY FROM TURKISH AIRLINES!"

Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Customs will only allow one plane to disembark, so we waited to get off the plan for over 30 minutes. This was the only bad experience with the trip."

Voordelen: "Ce qui m'aurait plu c'est de ne pas être obligée de voyager avec un chien . Qu'est ce que un chien faisait dans un avion en train de voyager avec les passagers? Pas de liesse, et la seule fois que je l'ai vu dans une cage, c'etait pour le transporter c'est pendant le debarquement."
Nadelen: "Pour un vol international de plus de 4 heures est plutôt surprenant, et desagreable, le fait que l'equipage de l'avion n'ait jamais offert de rafraichissements pendant le vol (never mind de nourriture). Il a fallu que les passagers demandent, à la pièce, d'avoir quelque chose à boire, pour en avoir"

Les écrans tombaient en panne de tous les passagers et l'équipage semblaient ne pas s'en soucier. Pourtant un redémarrage a réglé le problème. (fait a la demande des passagers)."

Nadelen: "Annulation du vol de retour apres un no-show à l’aller. Aucune information de leur part. J’ai du racheter 3 billets d’avion, plus de 2000$ de frais. Derniere fois avec cette compagnie."

Disons que j avais peu place. La climatisation ne semblait pas fo ctionner il faisait trop chaud. J avais un transfert a faire a Mexico pour Managua. A MTL on me dit que je dois recuperer mes bagages a Mexico. A Mexico on me dit qu ils les tramsferent eux memes!!! J attend mon vol a la porte 57 pour Managua. Sans en etre averti l em barquement a été changé sans que nous en soyons averti. Heureusement on s en ai rendu compte. En somme une très mauvaise expérience..."

Voordelen: "The crew was fine and was thankful they found a way to get back to Detroit (but, it required a stop in Dallas and an overnight in Chicago)"
Nadelen: "There was no social distancing or enforcement for wearing masks. I saw no sanitizing on any of the three flights I had to take to get to Detroit. of the four airports only the one in Guadalajara asked any health questions and could be seen sanitizing the waiting room and eliminating seats to keep spacing."

Nadelen: "On the first leg of my journey, there was a card explaining how to get inflight entertainment using the aainflight.com which worked great. However the Phoenix to Eugene leg used Boingospot but there was no card in the seat pocket explaining what needed to be put in your browser to access the entertainment portal. There were only two flight attendants on the flight and, aside from the drink service, no one ever came to the back of the plane so I could ask the question. I could have used the call button but I think that should be saved for emergencies. I think the information on how to access the inflight entertainment should be in every seat pocket"

A very special experience with the local ticket agent / boarding agent (double duty) in Guadalajara: Maria Hernandez (or perhaps Fernandez) who was pleasant, professional, helpful and even called us respectfully by name ("Mr. and Mrs. Petrusek") She is an outstanding representative of American Airlines! Gracias to her!!"
Nadelen: "Not a thing! We live in Mexico and we usually fly Volaris...I think AA just became our favorite airline!"

Nadelen: "Honoring paid reservations. Our flight was cancelled and rescheduled 4 times within the last few days. Communication. No one emailed me or called me to give me options or to even tell me they were kicking me out"

Nadelen: "They left over an hour late, then couldn't get the bags unloaded in philly. Loads of us missed our connections and we've all been stuck here overnight. American staff pretty much all shrugged."

Nadelen: "It took 3 planes to get us out of DFW. The first 2 had mechanical problems. The third got us to Amsterdam 4 hr late. None of the overhead ser lights functioned properly. We will never Fly American again."

Voordelen: "Made it closer to home. Bulkhead seats space useful when traveling with infant."
Nadelen: "Flight Delays. Riding a bus to the plane is outdated. Older 767 airplane. Crew did not seem friendly."

Voordelen: "Breakfast on GDL-DFW and movie"
Nadelen: "One hour delay on account of missing signatures from some mechanic according to the captain’s weak and shallow account of the facts. Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?"

Voordelen: "De stewardessen in t vliegtuig waren erg aardig en hulpvaardig"
Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"

Nadelen: "It was freaking cold. the flight attendants spent most of their time chatting with each other. when I wanted to hand them my garbage I was told that wasn't that attendant's job. I seemed to be invisable to them."

Nadelen: "Crowded, upcomfortable seats. Food for sale on plane all contains wheat, except potato chips. Other airline have a much broader selection of food."

Voordelen: "Not exceptional"
Nadelen: "Not much room for moving around but really fast"

Nadelen: "Left a tiny bit late but not a big deal really"

Nadelen: "Seats very uncomfortable, entertainment with few choices"

Nadelen: "Hard to get out of seat unless in fully upright biz class position"

Nadelen: "Food was terrible and the seats tight"

Voordelen: "Nothing. From the plane to the awful delay and poor service."
Nadelen: "Lack of communication. Old plane, no comfort and 6 HOURS DELAYED. Truly disappointed by the airline"

Voordelen: "Oh the crew was very pretty. They spent more time on themselves their hair their make up and on their phones than they did the entire first class. Check our flights and miles. We fly AA ALOT for ourselves and other. WCB4350 Shipman. We don’t complain ever. But when you spend what we do and only just get your first drink with your dinner in the air is utterly ridiculous. Never got a clean up or a second drink. Had to interrupt the glam squad from their phones and make up bringing them our dirty glasses and trash asking for a second drink. Not impressed with this crew at all! Normally AA IS TOP KNOTCH. So it sets the standard that we’ve been accustomed to however complete and total letdown on this flight"

Voordelen: "Very dirty and unconfortable Airport Environment."
Nadelen: "Combination of Business Class and Economy Class ticket sold by British Airways, although offered as Business Class. Hat a lot of Trouble with British Airways."

Voordelen: "nice aircraft I really liked the double seats on both sides of the isle, an ultimate aircraft for patrons traveling in pairs of two."
Nadelen: "It was too short of a trip for $$"

Voordelen: "The planes and staff were excellent!!!"
Nadelen: "Hated the layovers!!!"

Voordelen: "Never again. I had a connecting flight with a one hour layover and almost missed it. The plane to charlotte was very late boarding. Once i land I rush to my gate because I only have 20 minutes before they start boarding ; I get to the gate and have to wait almost an hour. At this point I still havent eaten because I am waiting around by the gate and the attendants are not communicating any information. Then they finally tell us that the reason the fligt hasnt boarded was because the flight attendant misplaced her luggage in the previous flight and was waiting to arrive to the terminal. Now how is that my issue? American Airlines needs to do better!"

Voordelen: "no fresh food"

Nadelen: "Going through immigration in Dallas is a disaster. The wait is eternal. None-US passengers seemed to get processed faster."

Nadelen: "Cancelled flight last minute and I was put on another flight hours later; with a 1.5 hour delay too; no credit or voucher provided"

Voordelen: "Nutting"
Nadelen: "For one of the premier air company's. They don't know what there doing. Old planes. Super hot. Dirty airplane."

Voordelen: "N/A"
Nadelen: "I paid $150 extra for 2 exit row seats thinking we could use the extra room on the long flight. Unfortunately, the exit row space was cut off by and smaller than a normal row! Our legs were extremely cramped by the time we got to Rome. We had no overhead storage, which was already small, so we had to put our carry-ons multiple rows behind us -- which made exiting the plane a pain. There wasn't any personal entertainment systems, just one tv per section. The food was sub par. The crew was nice enough, but I'll NEVER take American Airlines internationally again."
