Food is probably the best I’ve had in the sky I like that they serve it in the morning instead at late night, lots of drinks to chose from. but the promised Haagen Dazs ice cream never came. Seat was very wide as it is 2-4-2 compared to 3-3-3 for all other Airlines’ 787, the IFE box makes the under seat storage slightly lacking. Touchless flush is a plus.

Nadelen: "This is a kayak feedback - I thought I bought a cathay/jal flight. Well I was out of luck when I tried to fix situation. Broker in between introduce by website made it impossible to rebook flight in practice. Those website are very practical to look for flights but unless they give you the company direct you are better off switching to company site and book it there. Broker not equipped to be of any help."

Voordelen: "The crews were polite and reliable. No bossy or mean like other airlines. they moved prompt, no running or fast walk on aisles, so that passengers can ask things easily. Food was much better comparing with any other companies. The boarding time was delayed one hour, however we landed japan 2, 3 mins later than the estimated arrival time. Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I am already scared of returning flight with American airplines."

They apologizedon't many times but no compensation, seats were first row but not first class, business, economy, or premium economy. They said it's called "J" class! You still get 3 pcs of luggage and pay business class price! Never JAL again domestic, maybe international or Never ever!"

Nadelen: "I have been flying JAL from HK to Boston numerous times and by far my favourite (over Cathay and don't even need to mention United). However this past trip gave me a new perspective. Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation."

Nadelen: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

Flight was delayed 25 minutes (advised by kayak not Emirates); no acknowledgement of it - departure boards never reflected it, no announcement."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly n the food tastes surprisingly good, though the portion was small. The entertainment was good. and temperature inside the cabin was just right. Boating time was quick."
Nadelen: "Actually I was disturbed that CX offers a tabloid newspaper like Apple daily, especially at this sensitive stage when hk is going through such turmoil instigated and supported by Jimmy Lai’s group. It is offensive that such a biased newspaper is on offer, when there are other Chinese newspaper with a more neutral stand. Cathy has been viewed as a sympathiser of “yellow” rioters because of its involvement by management n crew. Now it just brings it more to the memory how CX might be what the leaked reports that many equipment has been compromised by CX crew onboard. Many of CX customers are from middle class, and it could be a big turn-off. It is unwise to patronise a tabloid newspaper when the owner has been named by China as the culprit of the recent troubles in hk. It’s like offering Al Jazeera news on united airlines entertainment........During the whole trip, I was captivated by these thoughts."

Very similar to Qants reganal business class on their 737. But how ever the seats on their A330 was average. But otherwise all was good. I would recommend Cathay."
Nadelen: "The food was very small portion and average in taste. The crew took a wile to take the trays and clear after all ate."
Nadelen: "The seats seemed like they had no padding and it kept stabbing me in the back. Seat belts were so thick and hard i couldn't lean in any direction to get comfortable as it would stab me. My partner and I were also seated separately. Painful flight, disappointed."

Voordelen: "My checked luggage bag was damaged. I noticed the damage only after I I reached home. However, when I reported Cathay Pacific baggage staff were very helpful and professional. I know several airlines who hide behind bureaucratic procedures to stonewall customers. CP is not one of them. Excellent service, before, after and during the flight."
Voordelen: "No drinks served before the meal. No water brought round during the night. Cabin staff efficient if a bit brisk. Food not quite OK - no imagination. Films really good."

I found out the morning of our original flight, as our new flight was about to board. I still haven't figured out who was responsible for this snafu - the airline or Webjet.com. Webjet customer service was horrible and offensive when I tried to explain to them what happened; they said it was my responsibility to check the time. I would disagree - the customer is ultimately supposed to get an email notifying them of the flight change, giving them options. Based on that phone call with Webjet, I will NEVER do business with them again. As for the flight cancellation issue - if Kayak could help me get to the bottom of this, that would be appreciated."
Voordelen: "The stewardesses were super helpful, quick to respond and the pilot even gave regular updates."
Nadelen: "Bumpy flight and the crew didn't really come around to check on what the passengers needed aka water etc."

Voordelen: "Two security checks, one at the door of the plane where they take bottles of water that have been purchased after passengers have passed through immigration and security make boarding very slow. There is no priority for Premium. The staff are efficient but service is basic. No sign of staff except when they are serving food. Seats are fine for a day flight. The food is very ordinary and some dishes were not available."
Nadelen: "Not a lot of choice in entertainment. Some programs have been on there for years. Premium economy is not worth the extra money."
Voordelen: "CX starts throwing out some old movies, it's nice to see some vintage from my kid age."

Nadelen: "Another passenger request me move to a window seat from a front row with leg room seat and it was hard for a big guy to go to and from washroom. Plane was hot and sweat throughout the flight making it very uncomfortable. Ran out of food choices for breakfast really fast."
Voordelen: "Access to Cathay lounge. Went to the Wing noodle bar and coffee loft. Had a good bite to eat before boarding flight running 15 mins late. My request to have my meal service delayed was welcomed by staf."

Nadelen: "Missed connecting flight from Hong Kong to JFK. I was given another flight but had to wait seven hours. Meal vouchers did not cover enough for how long I waited. New flight was not direct like the original one so there was a layover in Vancouver. I was supposed to get back to New York on February 2nd at night, but arrived around 6:00am on the 3rd. This was a major inconvenience since I had school 3 hours after I arrived and then work. I would suggest to not have arriving flights and connecting departing flights less than hour and thirty minutes to two hours apart. Only for delay issues."

Voordelen: "We liked the cabin crew services, which were great and attentive. The food and beverage services were also excellent, with the food tasting delicious and visually appetizing. Entertainment system and movie choices were updated and varied."
Nadelen: "The baggage allowance was atrocious at just 20kg, when all other airlines already have much greater baggage allowance. Even though the baggage allowance has been updated to a higher amount as of September, their system still tagged on the 20kg amount to the date of ticket purchase."

Pas de film français et siège inconfort

J’ai demandé plusieur fois qu’on m’aide avec mon bébé car je n’avais pas acheté les sièges avec couffin à l’avance mais personne n’a pu m’aider du coup 11h de vol avec le bébé sur les genoux

J’ai eu trop d’informations différentes du personnel de Turkish Airlines concernant les sièges équipés de couffin pour les Bébés donc finalement nous n’avons pas pu en obtenir un

Because of the departure delay from Cluj Napoca to Istanbul was 1hour and 20 minutes, and time between flights 1 hour and 30 minutes we were running between terminals. It could be great if someone will wait for us with a golf cart to transfer us to the other termimal.

Voordelen: "I was smacked in my knee I need surgey on my minsicus for by the person serving the food and never got apologized too. Then later he elbowed me in face and acted like it didn't happen. I liked nothing."

Nadelen: "I had a 14 hour layover in istanbul airport. Arrived at midnight and flight wasn’t until 2 pm the next day. I just assumed that they would give me a hotel. Come to find out thats wasnt the case when I landed. Given all kinds of reasons/excuses. The guy at the transfer desk told me”you should have known that your layover was this long since you booked it”. Will have second thoughts about flying Turkish again. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Might stick with Emirates or Qatar."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."
