Boarding was fast.The airplane was small, and was shaking in the the sky a lot.
Lahore to Doha was great but Doha to JFK using American Airlines was horrendous
Airlines lost all my bags and is not being helpful at all in tracing them. Value of baggage is over $25,000. I expect a full refund and expect to be compensated for the loss.
Very lethargic, lazy, rude process to check-in and board the plane. The staff is not well trained or has no care for customer service or any decency at all. First time flying Qatar airways after hearing so many good things about the airline, however the experience was awful!

Nadelen: "It was too hot in the cabin. The flight attendants were mostly inattentive. At one point three of them were feeding a baby to the exclusion of all of their duties to the rest of the passengers."
Voordelen: "I' not sure which flight this relates to. I've taken economy and business class and clearly the business class is better but economy is fine. The crew were good in both classes and whilst the food in business was better I didn't have a problem in economy either."
Nadelen: "Check in was fine and very friendly but boarding could be better particularly in business. At Heathrow it was a bit chaotic as all classes seemed to be mixed up so it was difficult for priority passengers such as disabled to get through everyone crowded up to the desks and the same applied for business class as well. The IFE wasn't too bad but it could be better. Bahrain airport is a mess and the boarding gates seem to be more like corridors with seats in them so it's difficult again when they call for business class passengers as unless you are already at the front you have to try to work your way through. I believe the airport is being rebuilt. If so then things will probably improve. I'm not sure why there needs to be 2 security checks within a few yards of each other when transiting between flights. they don't have this problem in Doha."

The hot towels, mint lemonade, and dates before takeoff were great touches. The business class seats are the same ones I've seen in 1st Class on other carriers. Holding a business ticket earns you access to the Falcon Gold lounge in Bahrain where we also received excellent service and ate great food. They are clearly trying to earn recognition as a top airline."
Nadelen: "American Airlines was late, so Gulf Air just washed their hand off us. We were left to fend for our selves. Gulf Air is the world's single most worst airline. It was only due to the wonderful service of American Airlines and then British Airways that we could reach Delhi."
I would never book Etihad ever again.
Overall the flight was pretty comfortable and the seating cabin (business) was impressive! Well Done Etihad!!

First, you should know that the flight has been canceled and I am stranded. The fact that you do not have any information on this flight cancelation is so absurd and disturbing. Second, It is impossible to reach Etihad via phone so we have been on hold for hours.

Nadelen: "Crew was cold and and very matter of fact. The food was very so-so. The food items have to be purchased other the food trays served unlike Turkish Airlines and Kuwaiti Airlines."

Nadelen: "Surbooking à l'embarquement, aucune info, un scandale. Seulement un petit déjeuner (très moyen) servi pour la totalité d’un vol de plus de 6h, quand les autres compagnies servent un vrai repas et une collation Aucune trousse en classe économie, ni un masque, ni une brosse à dents"
Nadelen: "Crew was very rude when giving veg meals. Even though we had confirmed veg meals multiple times with the airline prior to boarding, they still did not know that we had a specially requested Meal. After notifying the crew of this, one member gave us an extra meal. Another extremely rude staff member then proceeded to yell at us for eating meal. This was extremely uncalled for and has severly ruined the reputation of this airline in our eyes. The customer should still be addressed with some common courtesy and not be treated as if they are beneath the crew members, as if we are at fault for the crew's own carelessly stupid mistakes and lack of organization and proper communication"
Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."
Voordelen: "Check-in was easy and smooth."
Nadelen: "Agents at check-in desk took longer time to process passengers, even though some desks had two people helping. The web check-in line moved slower than the line with passengers who had not done online check-in. When I booked my flight via kayak, I was not given an option to select seats (this was new) . I was able to indicate my seat preference but there was no followup. When I checked in online 24 hours before my flight, the only option for seats was in the middle, which I did not want, although I I knew the flight would not be full. I was able to change seats when I checked in with the agent in the airport ."

Nadelen: "No body from airline staff was at Lahore Airport to facilitate passengers.Lot of time wasted.One staff member was attending 2 rows of passengers in slow operational speed."
Nadelen: "Breakfast quality was not good .In breakfast they gave vegetarian food .Flight departed late by one hour ."

Nadelen: "food was bad in taste ,they present us just like give to baggers there was no serving in trays .pictures show in add. are all falls we did not get that kind of food in our whole trip . for exps .in dinner they serve 2 small buns filled with 2 leave of spinch 1 bean barito 1small piece of chocolate for desert. for breakfast was lentel,with mashed patatos.when I asked for somthing else.reply was we do not have anything else.so i did not have anything in my 15 houre flight."

Nadelen: "There was no organization for boarding!! My chicken was like a piece of tire with no flavor!"
Voordelen: "Again, excellent flight crew."

Nadelen: "Ground agent at Melbourne manager says "sorry, you can't carry your CPAP machine. When I said that there were no questions when I carried it from NY to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Melbourne two weeks ago, he says that the policy was changed last week. Gave a hell of a bad time but finally allowed. These people don't know the policies and just harass customers."
Nadelen: "Crew was not as attentive as Emirates Airlines."
Voordelen: "The entertainment"
Nadelen: "Horrible food and beverages The crew will never serve a Diet Coke with ice come what may. If asked a lot they will give you a tiny serving mostly without ice. They will never give you a meager can. Ublebeliavable."
Nadelen: "Was not allowed to board flight, had to purchase a second d ticket, told no seats available until Sept 17 which was a lie, after an additional charge of $750.10. Could not reach customer service. Ended up buying a ticket with another airline. Would like some reimbursement in this."

Voordelen: "Not disturbed when i wanted to sleep crew was efficient"
Nadelen: "Very long flight Rice with every meal was boring , meals were infrequent for a 14 hr flight"
Voordelen: "The head flight attendant went the extra mile to ensure we got aisle seats together after our seats had been changed since we checked in. Very happy that she went the extra mile to pull it off. Movies and food were very good."
Nadelen: "We didn't like that our confirmed aisle seat had been switched since we checked in and were confirmed. It was uncomfortable for a while trying to solve this with the ground staff, but they put the message through and I mentioned it again and it was resolved in the end."
Nadelen: "Please add more vegetarian food options"
Nadelen: "Lost one of my bags! Returned after over a full day... was not even updated on location / that it had been found until the following morning... 24 hours later. Boarding was delayed... but by all means take longer if it means I get my bag when I land!!!"

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Nadelen: "Le vol était complet et nous nous sommes vu proposés éventuellement un vol AF direct en remplacement. Après notre acceptation, en dernière minute, nous avons finalement embarqué sur ETIHAD. Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE.
