Delta were magnificent. All really helpful and a joy to travel with. Food was very nice and they kept me topped up wthe water, cold drinks etc. Heathrow was very busy that time of day and despite arriving early I needed all the extra time to queue to check in luggage and then the waiting to get through security was very long and only just got to the gate as it was closing. You need to aim to be in Heathrow 3 hours before take off, not two.

The in flight crew were not friendly. One flight attendant in particular kept passing by and hit me really hard with her body as she passed by and never once apologized or said excuse me. I’m his startled me every time. I got a drink only 2 times in 9 hours and when I asked for a drink of water I did not get. Also when I put the call button on, no one came. This made me sad as I’ve been very polite as always and I don’t fly with any other airlines.
Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.
Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.
DELTA didn't accommodate for me being a celiac. Despite my request and lengthy online chats. Wait times to talk to someone varied between 2 1/2 and 6 1/2 hrs. Terrible service.

They were so slow that the flight they tried to put everyone left and then they offered ZERO assistance to get another flight and wouldn’t even refund my ticket, just told me after waiting 3 hours to call whoever I booked with for a refund."

Nadelen: "It wasn't clear that we would need to pay to check our luggage, especially since every international flight I have ever been on allows you a checked bag at no cost. When we got to the airport it cost us $130 each to check our bag which we were told it would have been around $50 if we had done it online ahead of time (if we knew). $130 per bag is excessive for checked luggage and we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. I like to fly Virgin when I can due to comfort but that experience left much to be desired."

Voordelen: "Superior comfort, class, and style. The crew was friendly and accommodating, the pilots kept you up to date with flight info and departure/arrival time (and kept the seat belt light off almost the entire trip), the food was delicious and offered throughout, and the entertainment was top notch. Seats were comfortable (we had bulkhead row Space+ and they were worth every cent for the international long haul from LAX-BNE and SYD-LAX) and everyone got a pillow/blanket. We got premium noise-canceling headsets, water, and a little care kit including an eye mask and earplugs and a pen to fill out your travel documents. The overhead bin space was huge and we got two free checked bags of luggage up to 50lbs each (I don't know of that's standard or not, or if it came with Space+ seats). SERIOUSLY the best airline."

Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer
Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable
Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

SAS canceled flight the day before we were to head to Athens to catch our cruise ship. No warning whatsoever from Kayak or SAS. We only found out when we tried to check in and in red letters it said "Canceled". Kayak states they never received any message from SAS regarding this cancellation. SAS decided just to change our flights for the next day which was very unsatisfactory. NEVER AGAIN! Turkish Airlines is the way to go!

I’m not sure how they expect to gain repeat customers if they treat first time customers like that."

We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

Voordelen: "I was running late to my flight, and I found the SAS customer service line exceptionally helpful in helping me make the right decisions regarding how best to deal with the risk of missing my flight. In the end, I made my flight in time, but I found customer service critical in making the best decisions regarding my pre-flight transportation. Additionally, the flight was smooth and enjoyable."

Voordelen: "Seats are more comfortable than those of many other airlines."
Nadelen: "Normally, I am not picky regarding airline food. In SAS's economy or "Go" class, there is no choice of food. I can think of plenty of dishes that would be appealing to many people. Yet the meal that was served, beef stew, posed a problem as I don't eat red meet. Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only."
Voordelen: "Plane was quite empty"
Nadelen: "Plane wasn't in the best shape"
Voordelen: "Good leg room. Tasty meals. A good variety of entertainment options."
Voordelen: "Boarding was easy, I'm a Star Alliance Gold member so was able to get on board first. There were significant delays leaving Dulles and our connection was tight, but SAS held the flight so I give them props for that."
Nadelen: "The crew was grumpy and unhelpful, but I can usually overlook that. What really got me was this: YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BEER & WINE ON THIS INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT! Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance."
Voordelen: "I had a window seat with a view of New York City as we flew North."
Nadelen: "The sound quality of the earphones was so poor that I could not understand most of the dialogue of the film that I watched."
Voordelen: "service was good"
Nadelen: "The plane was full. Sets in economy were very small."
Voordelen: "The entertainment system was very good. The crew were all efficient and courteous, with the exception of one crew member who was rather curt."
Nadelen: "Our plane arrived at IAD late due to a minor mechanical that was repaired at its previous destination. Consequently, we departed IAD almost two hours late, causing us to miss our connection in Copenhagen. Norwegian Air had a flight leaving shortly from Copenhagen to Rome, but the transfer agent told us SAS "does not re-book with Norwegian." Instead we were assigned to two more flights, one to Brussels, and another from Brussels to Rome. We arrived in Rome around 17:00 rather than 10:35 as scheduled, losing a full day of sight-seeing."
Voordelen: "Friendly staff. Good food. Movie/tv options were excellent."
Nadelen: "Didn't like that I had to order vegetarian food option in advance. I would forget to do so before the flight. Despite that, I was still able to eat most of the meal since there was salad, bread and dessert which was filling enough."
Voordelen: "Timely or even earlier arrival. Generally, very good experience"
Nadelen: "Delay after delay. Screaming kid"
Nadelen: "In-flight entertainment did not work, veggie meal I ordered was not there, and when I asked if I could have one of the extra business class meals, I was told no. I further asked if I could just have some chips from the snack basket and that was met with a death glare from the female flight attendant. All in all, the flight attendants were rude and unwilling to accept any ownership in the poor conditions of this 9 hour flight."
Voordelen: "Modern plane, great entertainment system"
Nadelen: "Paying for booze, vegetarian breakfast is awful."
Nadelen: "Small and tight seats."
Nadelen: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."
Nadelen: "The plane was very old and not maintained well, dirty and not clean from the previous flights"
Voordelen: "The cleanliness"
Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"
Voordelen: "Clean, comfortable plane."
Nadelen: "No free alcohol. Limited food options."

Nadelen: "Seats are allowed to recline to far. When you are sitting behind someone who has reclined their seat you have no room"
Nadelen: "Unfriendly and rude desk help. Rude and insulting. United was a real disappointment. I will ask my travel agent to be in touch re screw up the economy plus seats. I had to pay extra for what our itinerant said had been booked. Mary, at the desk at C12 in Delles, she wouldn't give me her last name was unbelievably insulting and unhelpful."
Nadelen: "Too much meat in meals."
Voordelen: "Flight was fine, service good, and our seat choice excellent."
Nadelen: "We left an iPad on board in Copenhagen and found that there was no way to inform SAS!"
Nadelen: "No individual seat control of airflow. The plane was very warm and there were no vents at each seat."
Voordelen: "Attendants allowed any standing to ease weary legs as long as it was out of the way."
The service was great and the whole process was smooth. My personal tv was not working so was bummed not to have the built in entertainment.

Clean airplane with great staff
Enregistrement désastreux à l’aéroport, une heure et demie d’attente, seulement 2 guichets ouverts, des gens avaient peur de rater leur vol.

Nadelen: "The seats are uncomfortable, no leg room, no space between seats and the trays hit ones’s stomach. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. The food was awful. Overheated and not cooked through at the same time. Breakfast was odd. Non-Greek yoghurt and cashews. Just strange."
Voordelen: "Loved Finnair. Hated Justfly.com. If you own this company, you need to end up like Blockbuster or Circuit City."
Nadelen: "If I would have purchased my tickets from Finnair.com, I would have had a much better experience. Kayak found me a good price but purchasing the tickets through Justfly.com was the biggest mistake of my life. The trip ended up costing me $285 more than what I budgeted and there was zero customer ser"

Nadelen: "The boarding in Singapore- Finnair are seemingly punished by being gated at the furthest end of the walkway. The security is slow due to the two single lines of screening, even though we are all in transit or have already been through checks elsewhere"

Nadelen: "It was an old plane (A330-300). The seats are not very comfy, not much leg-room, and not very stable (i.e., when others are getting up in front or behind you)"
Voordelen: "was very disappointing that website doesn't have full information regards the second bag check in. The cost is different from checking on the web and checking at the airport."

Voordelen: "They gave us a warm cloth to wash our hands and face at the beginning of the flight. There was a bottle of water there too. We were constantly offered various drinks, especially water. The staff was extremely friendly and each of the flight attendants spoke about 4 languages."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't the best I've seen as of late. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if they updated it!"
Voordelen: "HiFly is awful. Terrible food. Really not much service. It gets you from point A to B ..... but not always. Our return flight was cancelled with no reason given. Instead of a 2pm direct we were put on an 8am with a layover. The only saving grace is that our transatlantic was on Delta, which was amazing."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"
Nadelen: "There was no reason given why the flight left Helsinki 35 minutes from schedule. Boarding aircraft seem to take a longer time than usual for a full flight. The flight crew during boarding in economy didn't have the push needed to get everyone seated in an efficient manner. The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."
Voordelen: "Headset did not work properly overall it was great"
Nadelen: "Headset receptacle did not work properly I could only hear in left ear"
Voordelen: "Flying out of Chicago we had a 3 hour delay. Caused me to miss my connection. The cause was "plane availability". What? It wasn't weather related in the least. Once the flight left the ground, the trip was very pleasant. But, Finnair should have made some sort of compensation to the passengers. They did not."
Nadelen: "See above"
Voordelen: "Clean and well appointed plane, enough room to get comfortable, great on-time performance."
Nadelen: "Only coffee served over a 3-hour flight"
Voordelen: "Food was provided when the flight was delayed for 2 1/2 hours. I also really liked the text update from kayak about the delay. The airline did not keep me updated but kayak did."
Nadelen: "The delay when it was already a 6 hour flight. I also was not able to reserve a seat because I had booked through kayak and not with the airline. Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Nadelen: "not enough leg room. and i have to point out that I am a petite 110 lbs, 5'2" woman. as soon as the person in front of me reclined their seat to either sleep or lounge, I had my food tray on my chest and the small tv screen 8 inches away from my nose. Thankfully Im small but the man sitting next to me was rather tall and had to turn into a human pretzel to fit in that seat and space allotted."

Voordelen: "I thought the flight attendants were professional and friendly. We landed safely and on time."
Nadelen: "A nine-hour flight with ancient over-head screens? Great for those not sitting in a window seat, otherwise don't plan on being able to watch the movie. The first being a cartoon by the way. I'm sure the 3 children on board had a great time watching it. 2 bathrooms on a 9-hour flight for the entire coach cabin? One of which was near the front. Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."
Nadelen: "Seats given away that we selected six months ago even though we checked in days early. Four family members all over plane."
Voordelen: "Everything good except getting bag after flight."
Nadelen: "Took over an hour at baggage claim."
Voordelen: "Not bad as cross-ocean flights go, but cramped. The seats (and the available room per person) are what would be considered normal nowadays, but I remember flying thirty years ago. The crew was very pleasant and snacks were served (and appreciated), but didn't make up for the cramped conditions."
Voordelen: "Travelled on B A Air Bus. I found it to be comfortable compared to previous flights operated by other airlines. Crew was excellent Overall it was a very good experience."
Nadelen: "The food - well it's airline food - ok but nothing exceptional."
Voordelen: "My son and I requested gluten free meals when we reserved our tickets. When the meal was being served the crew had NO record of our meals needing to be gluten free. So we had to get one of the meals that was being offered. This was unfortunate and they made no other attempts to rectify the situation. Also, many TV monitors were malfunctioning, including mine which did not have clear sound. It was jumbled and not even clear enough to make out words in a movie or song on the radio channels.
