The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it"

On m'a simplement dit que le vol est complet et que j'aurais du penser à cela avant... Pas très professionnel !"

Nadelen: "Le soucis se situe souvent dans les aéroports, notamment celui de Tegel à Berlin. Je vous déconseille fortement d'y atterrir, c'est vraiment inadapté et des infrastructures vraiment désuètes."
Nadelen: "J'avais réservé le vol chez ANA (joint venture) : impossible de pouvoir réserver un siège puisque le vol est opéré par Swiss. Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Nadelen: "Swiss Air allowed us to book a flight with 45 minutes to connect. First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."
Voordelen: "Enjoyed the surprisingly good vegetarian hot meal, wine, and chocolate! (And silverware) Said to us they cared for passengers and the environment. A much better overall experience than with United!"

Notre départ et notre arrivée étaient à l’heure. Nous étions bien servis par les membres d’équipage. Malheureusement, moins d’espace dans ce modèle d’avion que dans les modèles plus récents. Les écrans installés dans les sièges fonctionnent très lentement, donc pas beaucoup de divertissement pour le vol de 8 heures
Les membres d’équipage ont été attentifs. La qualité de repas- à améliorer
Transit à Frankfort : horrible !
Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer
J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.
Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Turini burst out laughing when we told him our situation and when I asked why he said “Well would it make you happier if I cry instead?” So unprofessional."

With no attendant at the location and a long line, I wasn’t sure how to proceed. There were plenty of people having the same difficulty. It took about 12 minutes to occomplish a minut long job."

Very cramped and claustrophobic Staff spoke no English and tv choice was not In English Pilot and staff spoke no English and as a lone traveller I felt quite vulnerable as no emergency procedures or facilities were explained is bathroom emergency exit
I never flew with SAS before and got to fly all the way from the US and I loved it !!

Nadelen: "I was sitting next to a special needs man and the crew was extremely unhelpful towards him. He should not have been flying alone and they did not help him at all. When you handed out the customs form he told the stewardess he needed help and she ignored him. When I pressed the call button for him it took someone 35minutes to come back and then she told him she would help him after dinner. I pressed a call button the second time to help him find something and again it took over 30 minutes for someone to come back to us. If there was a real emergency this delay would have been a huge problem. The stewardess was extremely rude in general."

Nadelen: "There was not very much legroom at all (and I'm fairly short) - but that's to be expected for such a good deal. Also I apparently was asleep when the flight attendant offered beverages, so I didn't get any drink on the transatlantic flight. I don't think there were any snacks offered at all to the Economy passengers, which was a little cheap."
Nadelen: "As with most other airlines, the seats are uncomfortable and packed together, and we're trained to think that it's ok, it's normal... No food is provided unless you buy it, so we brought our own which is better anyway. The crew is nice. There are movies and music, but nothing interactive. Soft drinks are given in a 4 or 6 ounce cup, very small."

Baggage check-in area was within the American Airlines area and was practically invisible. I missed it and had to walk back to check my bag. Found out after going through full Security measures that Icelandair does not participate in TSA Pre-Check I didn't know that airlines could not to participate in TSA Pre-Check. I did not know that no meals were included in the flight. The meals you could buy were very expensive and very small. After waiting 2 hours to board and being on a 7 hour flight, I was very hungry. Glad I took a few Oreo cookies. The airport at Reykjavik was an absolute zoo, totally disorganized. People were in very long lines and many of them sitting on the floor. I will not fly Icelandair again."
Voordelen: "The cabin crew was very friendly and accommodating."
Nadelen: "I am pretty disappointed about the nickel and diming to pay for checked baggage, seat selection early and food and drink on an already expensive international flight. This is something I would expect from an American airline but not an international European one. I will not be taking icelandair but I will visit this lovely country again."
Voordelen: "The TV and movie selection was good. The idea of staying for up to seven days in Reykjavik without an increase in fare is excellent, but, from this experience we doubt we're going to fly Icelandia again."
Nadelen: "As described above, the boarding at the stopover in Reykjavik was the worst I've ever witnessed. The available food choices and the quantity was very poor. After an eight hour flight we were very hungry."

À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Voordelen: "the flight crew gave us a heads up that small part of the flight would be bumpy. but they would do their best to make it as short as possible and that they did."
Voordelen: "Baggage delayed at Newark so that I only got my bag an hour after landing. Also half hour wait to get to the gate. This meant that I missed my train connection nd had to pay an additional $75. I simply won’t take this airline again and flying out of Newark as a Philadelphia resident is not that convenient either."
Voordelen: "Every crew member was very courteous. Gave free Iceland water as you enter plane. Movie selection was pretty good too."
Nadelen: "Woman at luggage check-in told us our flight was overbooked and we needed to get a new flight. We stood in another line for an hour only to be told that our original flight was waiting for us. Ran to the gate with around 30 other people to make the flight. Obvious miscommunication somewhere between their departments."
Voordelen: "I really want to thank the gate staff in Seattle for helping me retrieve my laptop from security in time to board the plane with it. They didn't have to do that and it was a huge help to me."

Nadelen: "We were delayed for two hours due to a weather delay from the day before. When we boarded our plane it was cold, and then we had to sit and wait for 45 minutes while we waited for connecting passengers. I would've preferred to be held up inside the terminal a little longer than sit on a cold plane with little communication. No water fountains at KEF"
Nadelen: "One of three checked bags did not arrive on time."
Voordelen: "Smooth ride, good customer service"
Voordelen: "They had great menu options. Good price on alcohol if you want to drink also a really superb selection of spirts to choose."
Nadelen: "Small aircraft should not put three people to a row."

Nadelen: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."

Onboard Wi-Fi kept cutting out. Flight attendant comped me my drink because they didn’t have what I wanted. Her name is Beth and she was awesome.

Voordelen: "This was the worst flying experience I have ever encountered."
Nadelen: "We sat on the tarmac 3 hours, then deplaned to a holding area for another hour and then were told the flight would be delayed until 1 pm the next day. I booked this flight in order to arrive home 7 hours earlier than originally planned on Alaska Air. I finally arrived 20 hours LATER THAN I WOULD HAVE ARRIVED!"
Lots of turbulence on this flight, which limited beverage service. Despite the length of the flight, there was only one beverage service, and the "snack" they handed out was a single packet of Biscoff cookies. It was a newer plane with outlets for plugging in devices and a shelf for placing a cell phone to view -- all that was great. The free entertainment was also great and much appreciated, as my husband had finished his book and needed something to amuse himself during the long trip. But if the airlines could just give us passengers a bit more seat space, it would improve things immensely; the guy next to me was well over 6-feet tall, and he couldn't help but extend his knees into my space.
Nadelen: "My eyes were watering and my nose was itchy for the entire flight and I had to hold back sneezes and I think there was something in the air on the plane that was causing this to happen. I was double-masking and I do not have allergies. I wonder if it had to do with the chemicals used to disinfect the plane between flights? I was not very comfortable, to say the least. Everything else was great, though, but I don’t think I will be flying again anytime soon."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 40 minutes but then they intentionally lied to the passenger's and boarded the airport to tell them they will be moving away from the gate and park for 1.5 hours. Sneakly little unethical you know what ."
Voordelen: "Safe and on time."
Nadelen: "Crew did the minimum, showing no appreciation to passengers or asking if they could do anything more. Virtually no communication from pilot about route of flight or progress during flight. American’s international service lacks any flavor of being international."

Voordelen: "Our plane was late getting to the gate. They kept us informed and turned it around pretty quickly. There were storms between Chicago and Rochester so we were rerouted. As a result the hour flight was an hour and a half. The pilot kept us informed and it was a very smooth flight. So even though I was over an hour late arriving I so appreciated the communications and the safer route. AA seems to be communicating more than other airlines and I appreciate that. Flying is absolutely no fun anymore so you take what you can get for the positives."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "I had a screen with excellent selections but the audio didn’t work. They reset it twice but nothing. Started watching a movie with CC but 40 min in it ‘died’."
Nadelen: "There was only a shared screen. And the AA Entertainment app didn't work"

Nadelen: "Too cramped. Long delay could have been made better but ongoing announcements from airline, but this was often late."
Nadelen: "I am very frustrated that a single part could not be located in the early afternoon to allow the plane to fly. I will be late again for work and it seems to be American Airlines and not Delta that has all the delays or is late."
Voordelen: "On time flight, as comfortable as can be hoped for."
Nadelen: "Non-economy plus seats are too small. Boarding frequently complicated by passengers who create issues with overhead space and carry ons."
