Nadelen: "The head rests were very uncomfortable pushing your head forward. Plane was overbooked so my family couldn’t even sit together."
Nadelen: "Unfriendly ambiance. Disorganized boarding. I’m even a member of Fly Smiles. The flight attendant named Chanaka moved 2 old passengers on my side. I kindly requested to another staff if I can just move seat too because I am not comfortable. But request no action. The cabin crew are not that caring because I took care of the 2 passengers. I just don’t understand why they are unfriendly. I will not choose this airlines again."
Nadelen: "Flight was late and because of that we missed adelaide flight"
Nadelen: "The airline needs to work on the human touch(crew). I did not understand why the immigration were questioning foreign travels for no reason. Lastly can’t reach the customer care number always gets disconnected."

Nadelen: "Despite requesting children’s meal, they were not available. Chicken meatballs were disgusting Overall, if it isn’t curry then it’s not worth having. Their curry was very nice Limited movies"
Nadelen: "Felt like a second class train travel."
Nadelen: "For a family of 4, 3 of us had continual problems with the sound on the entertainment system during movies, etc"
Nadelen: "Extremely small space, knees against seat in front, I am only 6 ft tall."
Voordelen: "Generous with alcoholic drinks and exceptional service. I'm an Irish man who likes to drink, so this was a big one for me. The staff were super friendly as well and were always doing something to help. 5 stars!"

Nadelen: "The boarding in Colombo was typical for a lot of these airports I guess but I hate it. Go outside, cram in a bus, drive to the airplane and everyone fights to get in at once. Talking about an Airbus 330-300. Took an eternity to load"
Voordelen: "1st time on Srilankan, it was good. Would fly again"
Nadelen: "The boarding pass checker at the gate was all grumpy! Do folks in South Asia lose anything if they smile and greet a passenger? Perhaps she hates her job?!"
Nadelen: "There was not proper management for boarding n check in on Colombo airport, eventhough I was traveling in business class I had not been treated as priority customer."
Nadelen: "Quality of food has really gone down. Quite disappointing."
Voordelen: "There smile ver good at communicating and good services I travel overseas many times every year and I would love to travel with Srilankan."

Nadelen: "I regret to state that there was no proper functioning of air conditioners at Colombo airport and during the taxi on the bus from Plane."

Nadelen: "early departure meant VERY early trip to airport."
Voordelen: "There was no entertainment as it was a short flight.had to report quite early in the morning because of airport renovation.otherwise the flight , journey and food were Good"
Nadelen: "Had to wait for one and half hours to get our luggage from the belt as all gulf transit passengers who checked in later than us got theirs first and since we checked in first our luggage came last.I had onward journey for eight hours by bus and with lack of sleep the previous day it was quite tiresome."
Voordelen: "Pleasant and welcoming crew offers the best Sri Lankan hospitality during the flight. Excellent food with good variety. Happy to fly with them again."
Nadelen: "Check-in was not efficient at all. I had 2 luggages to check-in and had to wait more than 1 hour on the queue to get into the service counter. Hope they will adapt a better system / more officers to manage issues related with both people and luggages."

Nadelen: "The boarding process is terribly disorganized. And they were over an hour late boarding and taking off. Which resulted in me missing my connection in Frankfurt. They put us on later flights which added another 5 hours to my already lengthy travel!!!"

Voordelen: "I cannot say enough about Sri Lankan. I have traveled in business class several times now from Kuwait to Colombo and Kuwait to Bangkok. The seat arrangement is awesome, the service is great and the food is tasty!"
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, I often have a short connection time in Colombo and have missed the connecting flight to Bangkok several times due to the plane leaving late from Kuwait. I'm not sure that this is an airline issue and is most likely due to the ground crews in Kuwait..."
Voordelen: "New biz class lay-flat seats were nice, though inconsistently-wide--I am 74 inches long, so was looking forward to the advertised 76-in layflat seats, but it turns out that when laid flat, the last foot or so of the seat is crammed in to a tiny cavity underneath the seat in front of you, so the only way to take full advantage of that length is to lay completely still on your back as if you were in a coffin."
Nadelen: "The crew woke me up multiple times despite my using their "only wake me for meals" sticker, and was generally a little brusquer than typical for biz class."
Food quality really need to be improved
Never again. Lost my item because of their stupidity

Voordelen: "Once we were in the air (see below), everything was very good."
Nadelen: "Poor organisation at the airport (maybe notGulfAir's fault). Flight slightly delayed. Gate changed at last minute, board said "Boarding now", but we then waited something like 30 minutes at the new gate to actually start boarding."

Nadelen: "Not lied to me about my extra being payed from Bahrain to Kenya because it was only payed to Dubai which is now causing me a lot of stress my flight from Dubai to Nairobi was cancelled while i was there without my knowledge"

Nadelen: "Gulf air staff at cairo airport refused to give me the boarding pass of the 2nd flight while i was returning from cairo, while in dubai they gave me both boarding passes Although i told them the layover is under an hour Luckily bahrain airport accepts mobile check in and i barely caught the flight"

Nadelen: "The chairs are old and not comfortable at all. The entertainment system does not work well (Sound) and not clear. The head phones are old and the crew collect them way before landing"

Voordelen: "The price was excellent, the (A330) plane was in good clean condition, they provided with blankets, pillows and headphones. The food was better than most airlines I have travelled on and the entertainment was okay but not as good I would have wanted. Overall, I would say 4 stars all round."
Nadelen: "Entertainment could have had more on offer, the plane was generally cold, an on-board wifi on their major (A330) planes would have been helpful and upgrades to their short haul planes would be good too."
Voordelen: "Nothing much I liked other than it was a regular (A321) plane service: nothing stood out for me. Nevertheless, still would travel with them because of the competitive price."
Nadelen: "The (A321) plane could done with an overhaul, but understandable as to why it is the way it is; for the purpose short hauls. Besides, the flight was only for an hour. Other than that, nothing much more to say."
Nadelen: "Too much money taken by the airline even though I had bought insurance"
Voordelen: "Ease of checking, smooth landing, Gold frequent flyer card special preference"
Nadelen: "The old aircraft which is almost reached its limits"
Nadelen: "No communication with passengers about flight delay and subsequent change. We were told the plane would wait for us, but found out they had left with half the flight being left stranded. Awesome."
Voordelen: "The crew was helpful, the boarding was organized"
Nadelen: "I travelled with my 3 years old kid and there weren't any food that was special for The kids The stroller i travelled with it and i received it with the bags, while when travelling to dubai i received it back on the plane gate which was much better"

Nadelen: "Paying for the weight of each bag instead of the free 2 bag international allowance was absurd."
Nadelen: "The plane is too small I couldn't go to the path room because the floor was busy by the cabin crew because of the food and the drink service also the Bahrain air port is too poor regarding Gulf air agents in Manama, this is my last flight with gulf air and I will not recommend to my friends."
Voordelen: "I was rerouted entirely to fly with Austrian Air, and only landed 2 hours later than scheduled, which was nice."
Nadelen: "My Gulf Air flight from Bangkok to Paris was delayed 7 hours which would make me miss my connection to Paris in Bahrain...and they wanted to put me on a new flight that would have me layover in Bahrain for more than 18 hours, and landing in Paris 24 hours later than planned. I politely said no and asked them to find me something else, and they did--so that was good. But the suggested alternative for a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous. Also, the 7 hour delay was never explained and no other flights were delayed, so I guess it was something wrong with the plane?"

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very polite, service was great. The plane was very clean and movie selection was good as well. Lots of leg room as well, I enjoyed my flight."

Voordelen: "I tried many websites to book but my favorite is always kayak as its fast and easy and so fixable"

Nadelen: "The long queue infront Gulf air check in desk in the airport! People who came early that had to wait for a long time to have their boarding pass! I think increasing the number of employers in that area will be a great idea ."

Voordelen: "The security check was horribly handled. There was a chance for missing the flight."
Voordelen: "Short flight. Nice crew."

Nadelen: "The in flight movies were outdated and not a good selection at all"
Voordelen: "The crew is extremely attentive without being intrusive. They provided anything we requested. Food was excellent. The hot towels, mint lemonade, and dates before takeoff were great touches. The business class seats are the same ones I've seen in 1st Class on other carriers. Holding a business ticket earns you access to the Falcon Gold lounge in Bahrain where we also received excellent service and ate great food. They are clearly trying to earn recognition as a top airline."
