The touchscreen was also very simple and did t require a great deal of force to press a button...the steamed towel given before take off was extremely relaxing and set a high standard of expectations during this flight. Almost all of the those expectations were met. The toilets were extremely clean and the service of toothbrushes was the icing on the cake. For my meal I ordered Indian fish curry which could have been a little more spicy (I am Indian so I eat foods with many spices)."

Seats are so tight these days.
Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers going to Frankfurt in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi has an additional Immigration step before security that added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.

So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."

To add to the anxiety, we noticed that none of the bassinet seats were allocated to parents with infants. There were at least 3 families with infants and lots of children due to school holidays. But we all had to make do with our cramped seats. Maybe Qantas can plan this better. It isn’t so difficult as they usually know how many infants are travelling, in advance."

Nadelen: "Qantas left our luggage in Sydney. Once we were in Koh Samui it was up to Bangkok Airways to sort it out. The file reference we were given wasn't recognised by the Qantas website, the three phone numbers in Bangkok just gave a 'number disconnected' message and one was no answer. We had to cancel a planned event on day two and shop for clothes for a specific activity on day three. The only way to make contact with Qantas was via Instagram, Luggage did appear but so far no contact or apology from Qantas. We will not fly with Qantas again. Virgin Australia is our carrier of choice who outperform Qantas in every respect. This flight was gifted so we had no choice."

Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful. The staff was pleasant, but could have been more attentive. It felt like some cared and others did not."
Nadelen: "I have flown millions of miles with Qantas, but it's been more than 10 years since my last flights. My expectations were high and i the end I only felt "OK" about the experience. The seats are not competitive with other business classes in the sky. I realize that is about to change. I flew Air Canada into Australia, and while my seat was unfortunately broken, the capabilities and overall comfort of their seats is far superior to Qantas. The business class lounge in Sydney had very poor food options in my opinion, and I was quite peckish after having skipped lunch to travel to the airport for a 4pm flight. The food options on the flight were much better, though overall options / taste were just OK."

Boarding was excelent. It was called section by section. Cabin crew were very friendly and attentive. I always like to fly with Qantas"

Nadelen: "The boarding process with qantas domestic is always chaotic. No one is policed on their seat numbers, status or fare class. this creates a chaotic process for boarding and securing overhead luggage space for higher fare paying customers"

Nadelen: "For flying business the food was awful; the person sitting next to me actually sent his meal back it was so bad. They had a relatively pedestrian menu, but were unable to deliver. The steak was overcooked and grey throughout, prawn starter was tasteless and bland, and panna cotta was overly sweet and weirdly goopy. The dinner options were so uninspiring that I skipped. I understand that it's airline food - but don't offer it if you can't at least make it slightly acceptable.... The staff was a bit all over the place and slow - it seems like having the flight at capacity was too much for them to handle. The sets in business are really starting to show their age and need a really need a steam clean."

Nadelen: "Not offered a drink until I asked on both meal services. 2hr late departing due to airport congestion due to to Qantas over Sydney centric focus. Food was good but maybe a bit sparse Evidence of of cost cutting. Long flight (14hrs)"

Nadelen: "L'enregistrement n'était pas possible en ligne puis très long à l'aéroport. Nous avons eu 25 minutes de retard au décollage car cause d'un mauvais compte de bagages qu'il a donc fallu décharger puis recharger. Comme d'habitude, le système de divertissement était lent."

Nadelen: "Seat is so uncomfortable. For the 6 hr trip need a back adjustment for such a cramped environment. Need review my future travel on Qantas"
Voordelen: "I loved the first meal and the choices all seemed amazing. Staff were friendly during boarding. Seats were really comfortable and good movie and song choices."
Nadelen: "The second meal, a small noodle box was dry, overcooked, and bland even with the dressing. The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

Voordelen: "Received official flight delayed notice by email. New takeoff time 9:00 AM....Actual closer to 9:30. Caused by waiting for flight QF11 from Sydney and mechanical issues or something else which caused JFK passengers from another flight to be put aboard QF11 continuation to JFK. Turbulent air most of the way to JFK, no fault of Qantas. However pilot made no effort to avoid it or was not allowed to go to another flight level. In any event no communication from Capt. Food was mediocre at best. Cabin crew was getting beaten up by turbulence. They did the best they could. Arm rest USB power receptacle broke and headphone jack faulty (60C)."
Voordelen: "Appologises for the delay and the pilots attempt to make up time. The care taken during the turbulent period."
Voordelen: "It seemed that being in seat 33, the crew kept forgetting to come back and get our rubbish. It seemed when they collected the rubbish, they were full at seat 32 row, come back and start at seat 34"

Nadelen: "Very small selection of movies and shows. Breakfast meal horrible. Heartburn within half hour."
Voordelen: "I was in Seat 44C The flight crew who comprised of Elsie Fao ( excuse me if I have the name slighly incorrect ) Susan and the gentleman whose name I do not know could not have been better in their professional manner I short they were superb"
Nadelen: "Airline just assumed we had access to phones and Internet and the know-how to be able to download the Q app for entertainment. We didn't and we had read the inflight magazine (old, tired and boring) on the flight on our first leg from MEL-SYD."

Nadelen: "The seats were extremely uncomfortable.I have traveled business class in other airlines for same price and their comfort level surpasses Turkish airlines by a huge margin."

Voordelen: "Food was good. One thing I like about Turkish Arilines is that the plastic containers they use for food are a variety of shapes and sizes. This really helps the food service seem less industrial."
Nadelen: "Check-in was ludicrously slow, though that may have been due more to customers than to staff... Entertainment system at my seat not functioning."

Nadelen: "Flight was overbooked, which is always an annoying inconvenience. As a result, the flight was significantly delayed. When the plane landed the pilot immediately had to take off again which was really unusual and unsettling. But eventually we were able to properly land."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "1. CRAZY short time to transfer from TLV leg to SFO leg, 1.5 hours, and there were 5 different security lines even though we were always in the international travel area. Very stresfull. I'd much prefer an extra hour layover rather than run through airport. Why was I patted down at the gate??? 2. legroom was cramped, I was comfortable only because seat next to me was empty"

Voordelen: "First Airline to harass me about the weight on my bag -- small carry on -- had to check kill me on time. The seats have no legroom -- my back is killing me. The internet could not take my money -- so I could not get'out crucial emails -- it seems like the service was more interested in collecting my email addresses and password -- instead to simply directing me to the payment method -- waste of time."

Nadelen: "USB did not work! Front of plane was boiling whereas back of plane was freezing. My friend was so hot she was sick many times because of the hotness of the plane."
