For a flight to Japan, I thought $1,000 round trip direct from Boston was an excellent price considering you got 2 complete meals and additional snacks. Much more than I expected. Would fly Japan Airlines again."

Nadelen: "A family with 2 kids making noisy and crying nonstop during the flight the father was playing Japanese video games with headphones on and very careless but once in a wile started yelling at Kiks because they distracted him from his entertainment. Grandma next to them was careless too,mother left the kids to father and was sitting 2 rows in the back and they never came at least to try to make them quiet even when the kids started to kik everywhere licluding the food tray and almost breaks it. Unfortunately the staff never came and try to talk to them about this issue Most of the people including several senior citizens looked angry and frustrated."

Nadelen: "1) when my flight was delayed significantly due to weather, I was not notified until I got to the airport 2) when the same flight was cancelled, I was on hold with JAL for over an hour before I could speak with customer service\ 3) customer service could not rebook me for another flight until 3 whole days later 4) I had to look on JAL's website and inform their customer service about flight options that were somewhat sooner 5) no compensation was offered for 2 days of delays and flying out of another city (I paid for my own transport to this other city in order to make my final destination on time)"

He did not get a child meal."

Voordelen: "Check-in was swift and painless. Crews were pleasant. They gave my daughter a small toy before take off which made her happy. The seat was noticeably wider than any other airline I had taken before."
Nadelen: "Food was so so...although my daughter liked her kids meal (tater tots, chicken nuggests, veges, jam sandwitch, fruits, ice cream.)"
Voordelen: "From start to finish, we were amazed by the customer service of Japan Airlines. Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service."
Nadelen: "Having to pay for wifi and not having access to power outlets. Everything else was amazing and honestly these minor things were very forgivable given the great entertainment choices that came along with the plan ride and and the amazing customer service."

I liked the special touches such as the small snack and water bar available throughout the flight, and the breakfast Kumamon special. Clean bathrooms are very very appreciated."
Nadelen: "The only bad experience was when we were boarding, and I asked whether I could take a newspaper and the business class flight attendant snidely said that it was only for business class. I understand the comment, but her expression and tone were unnecessary."

Nadelen: "Needs to be a bigger plane for such a long trip. Crew seemed like they weren't happy to be on the flight. One bathroom was out of commission for our 14 hour flight and limited our section of the plane to one bathroom. The remaining bathroom was very dirty and lacked supplies. When I asked for some help to have it cleaned, the attendant told me she would have to lock it down but there was already a big line of people waiting to use it. Disappointed in this flight because it was so long with limited facilities. Enjoyed other times I had used Emirates but not this time."

L’embarquement top , Le service à bord, le repas distribué peuvent être largement amélioré

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "The service was great and the price was the best out there. Everything about this airline was great except for the boarding process in Istanbul."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Isanbul was third rate. We went through five security screenings at the gate after having gone through airport security. We were crowded into a space that wouldn’t have accommodated a group half our size. Then we were criwded onto busses to stand and wait about 20 minutes while others cleared the five security screenings."

Nadelen: "Clientele on plane are junky. The crew is rude. Boarding is chaotic. No information about delays or why things are taking so long not shared. Planes feel old and dirty. Strongly do not recommend."

Nadelen: "It is just crazy the extra cost that a person needs to pay for each extra Kg he/she needs to have onboard along with their "free baggage." I had to pay 23 extra US Dollars for every Kg, summing up to $160 for 7 Kgs!! Those additional belongings were crucial and important to carry, it very well understood that a certain capacity is only allowed onboard, yet being considerate and understanding in terms of customers' needs and priorities is as equally critical and important. I think the way the airline approaches the "Extra Weight" issue needs to be revisited, keeping in mind both sides' interests and concerns."
