Drinks were served and offered throughout the flight. Socks and toothbrush also given. Entertainment was great with a good mix of movies. Chairs were comfy and leg space was ok."
Nadelen: "I don't think I would complain about the space otherwise except that the person in front of me decided to recline their chair all the way back. It was a tight and fairly uncomfortable ride the rest of the time."

The movie selection was great. Take off, flight and landing were smooth. And we arrive half an hour early both directions!"

The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

Nadelen: "We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

The bathroom is not that good.. dirty.. the sink is not properly draining.. (all bathrooms - all flights- back&forth) . There was no toilet paper seat either going to DC. Crew is not picking up trays/trash right away. Once, we even brought our tray in the back. Food should be mix of western& middle east. middle east food is a bit too much for some passengers- too smelly, spicy,— The crew are nice though. Very helpful and friendly.
This is the worst flight experience
Nadelen: "Qatar airways changed the flight time which made the layover 8 hours instead of 3 hours. For the inconvenient it was caused Qatar airways made no effort to compensate."

Airport staff are rued and unhelpful. On a 9 hour flight only one drinks service was done.
It was an okay experience. It felt like crew were doing their jobs, rather than treating the passengers as customers. Food was just average. nothing special which will influence me to prefer emirates to other airlines. Thankfully no delays. Folks at Greece airport were nice to deal with.

Business class - dificult to get out of front facing seat to get to the aisle. No handholds etc. The seat in lay flat position can be a little wider so arms don't get scrunched when laying on back - I am not very big at all. The food tray needs to be able to be adjusted closer to passenger while eating.

Nadelen: "I buzzed the light for service 3 times and not once did the attendant come and check on my needs. Our attendant was not customer friendly- infact I don’t recall her smiling once throughout the 13 hour journey. Overheard her being stern and rude with other passengers. I specifically asked the crew to deliver my stroller in AUD for transit since we were flying the next day and they didn’t fulfill our request. Luckily AUD airport has strollers so we used one and took it to our hotel. The fact that Etihad doesn’t provide hotel accommodation for 14 hour transits is beyond ridiculous. Really disappointed in this lack of arrangement for long haul flights."

Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic. There was another Virgin flight leaving Launceston at the same time so the lounge was very busy. Our flight was late while the other was on time and there were no announcements that our flight was delayed. The screen over the gate also did not show our flight details at any stage, even when it eventually boarded.. I'm familiar with Launceston airport so it was okay, but for someone not familiar, especially an international visitor, it would have been confusing as to which flight was which especially as no announcement or visual display was given that our flight was running late."

Then came back to request for seating and they again made believe my security will be declines if i waste timein requesting seating. Got a flight between 2 males for a 15 hour flight and a run across the airport with a heart problem . I will never fly Eithihqd and also will not recommend to anyone"

Nadelen: "While going Airport staff was not at all good at Chicago airport. I had a carry on bag, which I had been using in all other airlines as carry on for last couple of years and never was told that the size is not right. I was asked to either check in carry on as extra baggage and pay $300 or put my carry on stuff in my other checked in baggage and pay extra for over limit $120. And I have to trash my carry on of $80 value. I was not at all happy. I noticed in the flight so many passengers have the same size carry on, which I have to trash. On my return journey from Delhi to Abu Dhabi I was talking to a woman in the security line, who was sharing the same experience and she told me that they charge her $400 for one extra suitcase. To me that was shocking as how come I was asked $300 for extra checked in bag and she was charged $400. No idea what kind of policies Etihad has for extra baggage. I would like Etihad management to pay attention to the airport staff dealings with customers."
Nadelen: "DO NOT under any circumstances miss an Etihad Airway flight. They'll make you pay twice the original price of your flight AND a $600 fee for missing your flight. WTF! Why must you pay $600 for missing a flight you ALREADY PAID for. I loved my first experience with Etihad but second time was not as pleasant."

Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. I like this airline so wish it wasn't so."

ET flights are hot Al’s uncomfortable: the air is typically not on and you feel like cattle. With boarding delays, asking repeatedly for water gets ignored and with the heat, it’s a very unpleasant experience. The food is starchy with the salad as couscous; more starch not a salad. The drinks are a good variety, however.

Dans l’ensemble le service est agréable, mais j’ai surtout déploré le rationnement de l’eau. On est servi dans des sortes de petits gobelets .
The blankets are nice and warm and the staff are very nice. Serving breakfast at breakfast time not dinner and just a snack for late night instead of a meal.

The food was like being on a Delta flight, and the entertainment screens in my entire row would not work, nor did many others."

Overall cabin experience can be improved in terms of hygiene and food quality ( food was mediocre or slightly worse). Seat ahead reclines almost too much into personal space in the new 787 aircraft. The LCD displays don't pivot so it's virtually impossible to view the entertainment when the occupant of the seat in front fully reclines ( a somewhat irritating issue on a long flight )"
