Nadelen: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

We were automatically rebooked on British airways which got us home three hours sooner than the Swiss air connections. VERY disappointed! We had to wait for over an hour at the desk for help, just to find out that we had missed our connection. No communication whatsoever from LATAM!"

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed more than 9 hours, and I do understand the fact that this happens. What I can't understand is LATAM waiting until I arrived to the airport to tell me that it was delayed (instead of calling or sending an email) and told me that it is MY FAULT for not reviewing the website. In addition, at the counter they told us that we didn't need to do a line again for dropping bags in the morning. However, when we arrived the next morning we had to do a 40 minute line. The pain was compounded by a member of the staff yelling at me for asking him to be moved to a quicker line because I could miss my flight. I've always flown on Lan (now Latam) and I've never had this bad experience before. I'm really disappointed!!"

Voordelen: "-Entertainment in seat TVs was amazing. -Food was delicious -Tons of space and I was in the economy or regular seats. -Love the tinting windows! -Staff as always on LATAM in my recent experience was very good. Very cheerful and very caring and considerate. Must keep saying how good the staff was!"
Nadelen: "Long boarding time...however I realize this was a very large and full flight."

Voordelen: "The plane was comfortable."
Nadelen: "The crew boarding the passengers did not seem to know what they were doing. I waited in line for over 30 minutes, which at 1 am in the morning was tough. I had my boarding pass reviewed by 3 different attendants. They did a cursory inspection of my backpack by opening 2 of the 15 pockets."

Voordelen: "I flew from Baltimore to Miami to Bogotá with zero issues. I am a musician and was traveling with my guitar, nobody hassled me and there was adequate space. The only issue was in Bogotá for my return flight. After struggling with the LATAM kiosk machine I was told by a LATAM ticket agent that flights from Bogotá to Miami are through American Airlines. Luckily a very nice American Airline agent accompanied me back to LATAM and convinced them my flight was with LATAM. Everything else was simple and easy!"

Voordelen: "Dreamliner was great for our 11 hour flight to santiago"

Voordelen: "They took every measure to make sure me and my family had the most comfortable flight possible. I will be sure to fly LatAm again. Thank you so much!"

Voordelen: "The big windows of the plane and the black tinted glasses are great, the service was great and the food very tasty. The seats are a bit narrower than the other planes but they are comfortable"

Nadelen: "Gate change was imposible to keep track of unless you walked from gate to gate and made sure you were at the correct one. Almost missed our flight as we were told gate 5 and it was changed to gate 10 in Spanish over the loud speaker but not in Englist and we just made the flight after they closed the door!!!!! Thank goodness they let us on. Need gate board where gate 5-10 is."

Nadelen: "HORRIBLE pre flight, and in airport staff. Incompetent, zero clue as to handle a delayed flight forced every passenger to hand over passports into communal plastic bags and took them for 2 hours somewhere in the airport unknown to us. I should never have to give up my passport into plastic bags/strangers EVER. They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will call and give more detail, I promise."

Voordelen: "Great flight to Peru from NYC on Latam. Comfortable, clean and service was great. I would fly again on this airline."
Nadelen: "Staff spoke limited English which was a bit of a surprise on a US flight."

Voordelen: "They have most of the boxes checked, but none of it matters if your knees are getting crushed, and then the person in front of you puts the seat back and nearly breaks them."
Nadelen: "The first leg of the flight, from DC to Lima, was fine. But from Lima to Cuzco, I was in agony. My knees were already tightly pressed to the seat in front of me when I sat down, and as soon as the man in front of me put his chair back, it folded my legs down and to the side in an exceptionally painful way. I got to sit like that for hours. The man next to me was also tall, so he got to experience the same kind of pain when the woman in front of him put her chair back. I am going to skip that leg on the way back and just fly out of Lima."

Voordelen: "Everything was fine and no problems at all with the flight or service. Good value for money."
Nadelen: "Food was average. I got a chicken sandwich. It was cold (meant to be a cold sandwich) and not particularly tasty. Also, there was limited range of drinks. I asked for tomato juice and this was not available."
