Nadelen: "noisy plane. seems like Delta does not maintain their planes very well. flight was delayed, which made it stressful to catch connecting flight at LGA. when we were all on the plane, the pilot states that he apologizes for the wait, since we were waiting a while for take off. he said there was something wrong with the fuel system that had to get fixed but it is ok now. wow, that wasn't the right thing to say. as soon as he said that, the passengers started talking among themselves saying,,,,,,,,,,,,well, i hope it is ok now, because if it is not, we may not get to our destination! he should have rephrased that and simply said that;;;;; sorry for the delay, we were simply going through some maintenance on the plane to make sure everything is all-right, which it is, and we look forward to getting you to your destination in a few minutes! keep it simple without getting into all the details! geeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssccccccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!! :("

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment is nice but only seems to happen on shorter legs of the trip. Also, too many useless interruptions from crew during movie. You don't have to keep thanking the passengers throughout the flight. And the volume through your headset is way too loud on crew announcements compared to regular listening volume of your program."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "We had a very kind crew! We traveled with an infant and while boarding was a mess, the crew on board was kind and helpful and did all they could to make it a good experience."
Nadelen: "Air Canada Rouge operated our flight rather than Lufthansa or other similar airline. This meant that there were no tvs on board, which means the nearly 9 hour flight got very long. Boarding and check-in were also disorganized and many people from lower zones boarded before zone 1 and those with children, m among we had to stand on the ramp for a very long time holding ort baby."

Nadelen: "Frankfurt airport: Had to walk for an hour to get from gate to gate. I was getting off an international flight and onto another international flight. International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

Nadelen: "I booked through Kiwi.com and they couldn't handle my special food request (kosher meal). Somehow it didn't reach Lufthanza at all. As a result I had nothing to eat during the entire transatlantic flight."

Voordelen: "NOT MUCH. LEFT, GOT THERE ON TIME. SMOOTH FLIGHT."
Nadelen: "SEATED, TREATED LIKE CATTLE. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE DUE TO NARROW SEATS. GAVE US TWO MIDDLE SEATS IN FOUR-SEAT CENTER. WANTED $35/EA TO PRESELECT SEATS, ONE-WAY. NEVER AGAIN IF I CAN HELP IT....."

Voordelen: "Nothing really. Seats are very uncomfortable, crumbled together with little space. Food quality is poor, selection of movies are very limited, tv screens are old, outdated screens. Poor selection of alcohol drinks, coffee is very poor. To be short, Typical american airline like delta or american airline with nothing good or special for transcontenintal flights. Does not allow 2nd luggage to check in without fee. For $1000 ticket I would expect more. There are a lot of companies who provide much better service for international flights: like Virgin Atlantic, British airways, Aeroflot, etc. I don't even want to mention Asian and Gulf company with much superior service. Boarding is nightmare, they make you stand for half an hour to board! Total rip off!!!"

Voordelen: "I called Lufthansa customer service on 8/10/16 the day before our flight because I wasn't feeling well and was concerned that I might feel worse the next day and have to cancel our flight. The lovely Customer Service rep was so sweet and concerned about my health, answered all my questions about what to do if I needed to cancel, and told me to call back anytime for more help. Also the flight attendants remembered my food allergies and were very attentive on the flights."

Voordelen: "Great communication from all aspects of crew etc during our delay. Fantastic flight crew who are very sweet and caring. I also enjoyed that we had meals on the flight and didn’t have to pay. That is such a simple but wonderful things."

Nadelen: "Le vol est parti sans nous, nous étions à la porte d’embarquement 20 minutes avant l’heure du départ, avec deux enfants en bas âge, et on ne nous a pas laissé y aller. après le contrôle de douanes (ou nous avons perdu bcp de temps) on nous a fait passé en courant et après on nous a dit que l’avion était déjà parti! Que du stress! Nous étions en état de choc, ils ont annulé notre billet à l’instant: l’aller et le retour!). Ce n’était pas du tout normal. Nous allons faire un recours, c’est inadmissible. Jamais plus avec British Airways."

Nadelen: "We were stuck on the plane for two hours because of engine issues, and there is no air in coach in their planes. It was 90 degrees in there! For two hours! The other classes had air and we had none, it was a health violation for sure."

Nadelen: "Le retard plus long que la durée du vol. Manque d'explication et absence de geste commerciale ne serait-ce qu'une collation vu l'heure (départ à 23h30 au lieu de 21h15)."

Voordelen: "I appreciated the courteous crew and the blankets. I appreciate the safe trip."
Nadelen: "Plane was delayed and I didn't like the $60 baggage check in fee. That's ridiculous. Airplane comfort in economy class is always medium. The main gripe is the $60 cost for the one suitcase."

Nadelen: "j'aurai aimé avoir la traduction en français car je n'ai rien compris"

Voordelen: "Siège relativement confortable, nourriture excellente, abondance d’alcool, variété de films, présence de films récents."
Nadelen: "Courtoisie des employées n’etait pas excellente. Le service était TRÈS long. 4 agent.e.s de bord, ce n’est pas suffisant pour la taille de l’avion. Employé.e.s pas toujours sympathiques, et parfois plutôt rude."

Nadelen: "2 heures de retards Siege cassé Peu et médiocre choix de films et dessins animés Pas de possibilité de mettre des médicaments dans un frigo et pas assez de glace pour palier à ce manque Accoudoir de A380 ne lève pas totalement donc impossible de dormir sur les genoux des parents pour les enfts"

Nadelen: "retard d'environ 2h donc plus de train pour pouvoir renter à domicile pas de compensations par la compagnie(mème pas un café ) hormis des excuses de l’équipage pour le retard"

Nadelen: "No information on connecting flights was provided. Also no heads up on the connection process ie. the need for a shuttle etc."

Voordelen: "Miami based cabin crew were nice, but they sat in the back of the plane and talked to each other then whole flight. Pretty unprofessional. Chicago based crew from start to finish were fantastic."
Nadelen: "Miami crew from checkin to boarding were rude, demeaning and unhelpful in this extreme situation. Really rude, particularly the gate boarding pass girl. Haven't you learned your lesson about being rude to passengers yet? I won't be choosing AA again. Your loss, I fly a lot."

Nadelen: "Pretty much everything. The flight was delayed for mechanical reasons. Then they boarded us and we sat for 3 hours on the tarmac because one of the air conditioning packs was broken. When we finally arrived, I found out my bag was lost. The worst flight of my life."

Nadelen: "The service, and the smile on employee’s faces. Rolling their eyes at people because we want to know why we’re being delayed is disrespectful"

Voordelen: "nothing since i was not able to make it on time"
Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "Crew bemoeide zich op deze korte vlucht met niemand. Bracht wat te drinken rond. Verder niet."

Nadelen: "Le vol a accusé un retard de une heure et en plus on n'a changé du lieu d'embarquement qui est passé du 77 au 75.il fallait que chaque voyageur se renseigne."

Nadelen: "Le déclassement en classe économique sans prévenir et une indemnisation impossible vol British opéré par American et donc les deux compagnie se renvoie la balle pour l’indemnisation (trois cents dollars par siège....) Plus jamais de voyage sur cette compagnie"

Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."

Nadelen: "Our first flight was cancelled due to maintenance issues. We waited several hours for another plane to come, and this flight was cancelled as well due to maintenance. We waited in line for 2 hours to be rerouted and now we can’t go out until tomorrow afternoon. We will miss 2 days of our vacation. Terrible experience"

Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."
