Nadelen: "Check in process is a disaster. The passenger is asked to even weight the luggage to be said by the machine to gonto a counter without good reason: the only thing missing with LATAM is to pilote the plane. Awful."

Nadelen: "I could have been warned that you need to get a pass to go to Hanga Roa before you can board. I had checked because I had heard there was a fee but upon investigation, it was said that this requirement had been eliminated. Wrong!! You still need the pass but you don’t get charged a fee. The extra time required for this tedious meant we missed our chance to check bags and do incurred hundreds of dollars more to get on the same flight the next day. No Bueno!!! This should be highlighted up front!!"

Taking off at over 11.00 feet and landing at sea level must be like having most of the air leak out of your tires while driving, but these guys take that in stride."
Nadelen: "Gate assignments in Lima tend to change and be posted late, but this is not under LATAM control."

Nadelen: "I actually tried to cancel this flight 5 hours after booking it and was not able to. I wanted to book something before prices changed and was not able to go. When trying to cancel I was hung up or disconnected from 6 times. Each time calling back with 10-15 of wait time. Finally got through and was told it's non refundable. Why kayak even deals with companies like this I have no idea. I finally cancelled and I'm still getting emails aasking how my flight was."

Nadelen: "Gate changes were not announced and the crew didn't help passengers get their luggage in place to allow for enough room for the last passengers to board. Many passengers places small items that belong below the seat in the over head. I had to ask passengers myself who's bag is this to get them to put it under the seats in front of them."

Voordelen: "I needed to check a bag at the gate, and the staff were very friendly and patient when I asked them about it. They are all very fluent in both English and Spanish!"

Nadelen: "La file d'attente trop longue lors de l'embarquement, le manque de cadrage de la file d'attente lors de l'embarquement (pas de files bien délimitées), le passage à la sécurité trop long, le retard sur l'horaire de décollage, les gens debout alors que l'avion venait tout juste d'atterrir et que l'avion continuait à rouler, pas de bouteille d'eau offerte alors que l'avion avait beaucoup de retard"

Nadelen: "The boarding process was quite chaotic and slow. There was no oversight of what people were putting in the overhead compartment so many were putting both their carryon suitcase and under seat bags up there leaving no room for our suitcases by the time we boarded. The flight attendants were eventually helpful in finding space by making people remove smaller items, but it was time consuming and avoided on most airlines we typically fly by enforcing bag rules as passengers are boarding."
